Alucard hissed at Loralei angrily.

"He..he was killed...I tried to bring him back but..it was either as a zombie or a vampire. I didn't want him to be a mindless zombie, so I used the spell to bring him back as a vampire.." She used her sleeve to wipe the tears off her face, "He came back with none of his memories. Then I found a spell to manipulate what he knew. At first I wanted to help restore the memories he lost..he..when I found I couldn't give him everything he lost, I tried to make it so that I was the only light in his life. I wanted his love.."

"Love is a load of crap..I'd never do that.."

"That's not true! Not all love is like that!" She snapped back at Alucard, "It was fake love..and I knew that. I tried to correct it, but the spell barely worked. I used what else I had of it to make it appear as though I had died. And shortly after, there were a few more spells."

"And one of them was to make me smaller?"

"Yes. To turn you into a child again, but you were still a vampire. Then I sent you away to a place that wouldn't mind vampires. I wanted you to start a new life with them. It seems like the spells didn't work though.." She stood up, "Are those all the questions you have?"

Alucard was stunned and stood staring at the ground. His blood started to boil over, "You manipulative witch! How dare you!"

"Calm myself? I've been used as a toy for this lousy wench's love and all the memories I have are lies!! And you're telling me to calm myself?!" Alucard's claw extended long enough to take out two people. Without a second thought, he was ready to strike and swung the claw towards both of them. The woman screamed, but luckily Alucard switched into his younger self right at the last second. He stood there looking at claw, "Oh um..what happened?"

Alucard concentrated on getting his arm back to normal, and it returned slowly, "Yay! Back in Axis!"

He hugged Loralei, but then he saw the woman, "Ah!!! That person looks exactly like the lady who died in my dream!"

"Dream? ..." She was scared and confused over what was happening.

She was beginning to understand a little about the situation, and nodded and gave a faint smile, "She's right. The people you see in your dreams are figments of your imagination, or were built on whatever you saw. I don't believe we've met before.."

She tried her best not to give her identity away. Alucard gave her a strange look as though he suspected her of something, but then he laughed, "You look so much like her, it's actually kinda funny!"

"Loralei, can we go home and have lots of cakes? Do we still have some left over?" Alucard's eyes sparkled.

"Oh my, he seems to have a sweet tooth," The lady smiled. She knew well how Alucard used to be when he was a child, and it made her happy to see that at least this younger version of him was doing well and had someone to take care of him, "It seems like you're his care-taker. I'm glad that you decided to help him. Ah! I think I should go back home. You wouldn't know how to get back there, now would you?"

"Oh! That's right! My name is Cecilia," She viewed the landscape. It was unfamiliar to her, and was a little worried about how she would take care of herself in the strange new land, especially when she didn't prepare for it, "So then, is this boy who knows the spell a friend of yours?"

"Oh..oh~~" Cecilia understood what Loralei meant, though she wasn't looking forward to seeing the grownup Alucard again. She wondered if Alucard would even help her at all and not try to kill her instead. "Um...maybe I can find some small jobs somewhere and help you during my stay here."

"Yay! Another person in our family!" Alucard jumped up and down and ran over to Cecilia, giving her a big hug.

She blushed, and smiled as she patted Alucard, "I won't be staying for long..at least I don't think.."

Cecilia shook her head, "If you can, please avoid the spider.."

"Huh? Why?" Alucard looked up at Cecilia, who returned it with a nervous smile.

"You see, I think that spiders are rather dreadful..I might faint.."

Alucard gasped, "That would be bad! I'll try the crow then, but I've never been a crow before.."

He let go of Cecilia and closed his eyes. He started shrinking, and eventually emerged as a small crow. He opened his eyes, and cocked his head sideways to look up at Loralei. He wasn't sure if he was a full crow or not, "Is this close or do I still have to keep going?"

"I'm not afraid of heights. I think I'll be fine," Cecilia smiled.

During that time Alucard flapped his wings to try to fly, zig-zagging just above the ground. He quickly learned that his tail was meant for something and started using it. He flew back to the group and landed on top of Loralei's head, "I flew! I flew! Did you see that?!"

He was excited, and jumped off Loralei's head, flying circles around the two.
