"Well," She smiled up at him. "I was wondering why you were here. You didn't come with the king, you don't look like a dragon slayer... and you don't have a dragon with you!" She dodged the swords as they got closer to Frey. "This is my stop!" She ducked out from behind him, and ran over to Frey.

He sighed as she ran away, and followed after her, saying, "Well... all of those would be correct... I..." He then quickly took out his sword, blocking a blow from an enemy, and threw off his cloak, and said, "... am Raymond."

Frey flew above him, grabbing some soldiers. Alli grinned at him. "Nice to meet you! My name is Alli!" She pointed up to Frey. "And that is Frey!" She continued following Frey.

The king protected Alli's path and watched the boy. "That boy... he is no ordinary young man..." he whispered. Soon after many slashes of his sword and a few battle cries from his army was able to help stop the battle.

"Nice to meet you, Alli... and Frey..." Raymond said, and blocked more blows...
After the battle finished, Raymond looked up at where the king was, and stared intently at him...

Frey stopped long enough for Alli to climb on. She held on tight, and Frey continued picking off soldiers one by one, until at least half of them were gone.
"Set me down." Alli jumped off as Frey slowed down, landing beside the Prince. "So Raymond, why are you here?"

"..." Raymond stared for a bit, and said, "I... travel around... wandering everywhere, to find a calling for me..." He then closed his eyes, 'It feels as if the winds of fate brought me here...' He thought to himself, and opened his eyes once again.

Alli smiled a bit. "Hope you find it!" She climbed onto Frey's back. "Maybe we'll meet again!" She pulled up a bit on Frey's fur. "GO!" Frey took off, leaving a cloud of dust in his wake.

The king called off the army and got down from his stead. "Young man," he said as he walked toward Raymond. "Might I have a few words with you?" he continued.

((sigh...i'm back. somehow. tired...))
Reya slashed down yet another slayer while Kleineshe took care of the remaining archers when help arrived. Who are these guys...? She thought to herself. She watched as a young man came to her aid. He seemed very much skilled in the ways of the sword. But now wasn't the time to admire his skill as more swordsmen came at her. Taking her sword to the side, Reya dashes in, slashing once, twice, thrice, disarming and knocking down a few of them.
Sometime during the battle, Reya heard the royal army's arrival; she didn't care much about royalty as she has always been raised as a commoner and prefers to live that freedom. Soon enough, the battle ended and Reya withdrew her sword and watched the king speak to another stranger. The female mercenary was slightly confused with everyone around but decided to say nothing unless spoken to.
Kleineshe, come. She spoke mentally and her dragon companion flew down from the skies, descending and landing right next to Reya, blowing her long ponytail up a bit. She watched everyone silently, but was slightly disappointed that she failed to gather much information from the enemy.

Alli flew by the king. "Sir?" She smiled a bit. "I used to think you hated dragons, but I'm glad you helped us." She pet Frey a bit, the signal for him to say hi. He nodded towards the king, but looked away again. Alli dug her heals into Frey's scales. "I hope that this war will end soon, and that Frey and I won't have to run anymore." Frey took off, and Alli waved to the King. "Thank you!" She yelled down, smiling wide.

The king looked up at Alli. "I neither hate nor like dragons child. I am no side but my own. But you are welcome, and expect you not to be intruding on my castle grounds without permission from the queen."
