"Well, would you look at that..." Kamiru said, pausing. "I actually did it. So, what exactly caused you to die in the first place? I find it very odd that a ghost would look like a sixteen year old." Turning to Jadelyn, he said "I don't think I can stay here with you. If there are ghosts and demons after me, I wouldn't want you getting hurt from me. Let me just re-gather my stuff..." Kamiru looked at his suitcase contents, which had dumped all over the floor when he had dropped it on the floor.

"I can." Kamiru said, gathering his belongings. "But before I drive you anywhere, I expect some questions answered. One: How did you die? Two: Who killed you? Three: Who are you taking your revenge on? Four: Why are you taking revenge on them? And Five: How did you become a ghost?" Kamiru stood up, but didn't move. "I'm not budging until you tell me, and that's all there is to it."

Jadelyn sighed, her eyes going towards the ceiling, her face seemed impassive as Karan came back to life before her. She bit her lower lip, head looking back and forth between the two as they spoke. She frowned as Kamiru made to leave, feeling a sudden ache in her stomach. "You don't have to go. If anything...you should stay. I...." she frowned trying to think of a way to phrase it. "I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself...and you. I believe I have a bit more," there was another pause as she tried to choose her words carefully. "familiarity with all of this."

Jadelyn wrapped her arms over her stomach, starting to make her way towards the stairs. Her mind was a battlefield, half of it wanting to pour her heart out to Kamiru while the other half was spouting warnings that it would only lead to trouble. She leaned against the railing, refusing to meet Kamriu''s eyes. "You''ll just leave if I tell you." She laughed then, but there was no joy in the sound, it was something harsh and fragile. "It''s my fault for liking you, anyway."

"What's the worst that could happen? Well..let's see. Shall we." Jadelyn took a breath and moved at an impossible speed. In just a split second she had moved from the foot of the stairs to be standing behind Kamiru. She reached up, tapping him on the shoulder. Her pale blue eyes were faintly glowing and when she smiled there was just the slightest hint of fangs peeking between parted lips. She tilted her head to the side, voice dropping to a whisper. "If you want to run....I understand."

Jadelyn gave him a hurt look, her fangs retracting. "I won't bite...unless you ask." She couldn't hide the sultry tones to her voice. "I had no intention of biting you. I didn't even want to tell you because I thought you would leave. So, no..this isn't some lure to attack you." She started to turn away from him. "I meant it when I said I liked you."

She kept her face turned from him, running a hand through her hair. I should have never let myself get this close to him..

She nodded in understanding, turning back to look at him. "All the more reason you should stay with me. I can protect you or at least be a decent distraction." She grinned at Kamiru, the tension from her body easing as it seemed like he wasn't going to run. "I shouldn't be this involved with you, but it is something I can't help." She shrugged, smoothing out the fabric of her skirt.

"I must admit that this demon you spoke of has me worried. I'm not quite sure how to deal with him, but I definately think that we should stick together. Safety in numbers and all that." She caught herself stealing glances at Kamiru as she spoke, wondering if he was going to start to act differently around her.
