The next day Fate returned to the pound with Aira latched onto his side and the other little children, Edna and Lianme were out as well to go find others to play with...
Fate immediately began looking for Kenji; he was much more relaxed today now that he had thought about it and he didn't want to ruin their friendship by avoiding him.

Kenji spotted them and softly smiled, wrapping a towel around his head as he walked into the living room. "Hey guys.."

Aira's eyes lit up as she looked up at Kenji. "Are you Fate's boyfriend?" She had been told by Tara to ask him such a thing and Fate's whole face turned red... Oh yeah, that shot the day down the drain.

"I'm... I'm sorry, Tara must've told her to say that! Tara might seem all helpful but then she goes and does things like that." Fate sighed looking away, oh great! Now it was uncomfortable.

"...Umm, would you like to do something today?" Fate asked swishing his tail a little out of nervousness as Aira wandered off to cling to Lianme as they played.

"I really hadn't thought about it; I thought we could decide together." He smiled up at Kenji not really sure what all there was to do around here actually but he was trying to keep this from being uncomfortable.
