Rayven of Mirkwood
Lindea smiled as she heard Cindie talk over the phone because when she left she bugged the phone so she could hear the converstation. She hopped back onto her motorcycle and headed off to meet with a Ms. Muffet. She went to a place called The Tuffet. She stepped off her bike and knocked on the door.

Lindea thought in her mind... Operation X i'll ask about that.

" Yes?" a timid ms.muffet peered through her door and stared Lindea up and down. " H..how.m....may I help..y..you?"

Scott raised his eyebrows even further. Had he said something about.... He obviously had. He was going to have to walk a thin line; she obviously knew enough to be asking, at the same time, she knew little enough to be asking. He'd have to lie based on that. It didn't even occur to him to rat Rose out, even though she wanted him dead.

"A former employer of mine," he replied, his face confused. "But she doesn't have anything to do with this case. Why?"

" Oh no reason...no reason at all...." Rozenfeild flashed her fake smile and spoke " Get ready if you can....I don't want to be here all day" she thought to herself as she looked at scott Former Employer huh? I'll have to keep the old eye glass peered on him.... she sighed softly Oh dad why couldn't you handle this case? I should've done the solo mission in tokyo......instead you sent me to fairy book land... She remembered the words of her father " My dear.....you must always remember...you will not always be solo you have to learn to depend and work with others" he cosed her eyes quickly and opened them as the rooms light made them shine.

Scott blinked at her, then tried to laugh. He stopped almost immediately, as it was very, very painful. "I almost died, and for all I know I had open heart surgery! Unless you plan on getting me a gurney so you can wheel me around, I don't think I'm going anywhere." He closed his eyes and leaned back in the pillows. They smelled like an extremely pleasant French perfume. "You get back to your 'very important interrogation', Capitan. I wouldn't want to hold you up any more than I already have." He needed to get her out of there, and then he needed to get on the next plane to... Which was less humid, India or Colombia?

" very well then......" she smirked and turned around and called " Red he's all yours!!!" Red perked up in her seat downstairs " REALLLY!!?!?"

Rozenfeild responded." yep...all yours enjoy him...he said he can move at all after his truly terrifying ordeal...he might need a special nurse.." she winked and looked back at scott.." When she's done with you you'll be begging to leave...."

Red slipped inside the room and locked the door and ROzenfeild our behind her. " Now...you're all mine mon amie.....and Im going to take very...." she slipped onto the bed and bit her lip " very good care of you..."

Rozenfeild smiled as she climbed into her car she rested her eyes a bit and had no idea that someone was outside of the car.

Scott gave Red an incredulous look. "Look, not that I'm not flattered, but this really isn't the best time, as you might be able to imagine." He had bigger problems then this girl; how long, exactly, could he count on Brier Rose staying in the dark about his survival? Not much longer, he was sure.

" Mmm.shut up......I really dont have time for this" she leaned in and kissed him passionately on the lips.." I dont need all of you detectives closing in on me finding out my secrets...so.....Im gonna make you stay quiet for a looong looong time..." she pressed her body against his and whispered " Mr. Scott you might as well have as much fun as you can.......cause you might never leave here...."

Scott sighed. "Right. And you didn't do this before when we were alone because...?" What did she think she was doing? She was very petite and probably couldn't stop him from leaving if he wanted to, even though he was hurt. Although he wasn't sure he wanted to leave. Secrets, huh?

He shook his head. He wasn't on the case anymore; it didn't matter what she was hiding. Scott firmly pushed Red off and got to his feet, ignoring the pain in his chest. "Goodbye, Miss Leffonette, and thank you for all your assistance,"
he said calmly, unlocking the door and pulling it open.

" Ohh my...do you think it's that easy a petite girl like me taking you on...really impossible..but my ladies on the other hand.." as Scott opened the door the'ladies' of the riding hood club were lined up in front of Scott dressed in red revealing outfits the women were a formidable force..in unison they said
" Hello mr.scott pleasure to serve you"

Scott's eyes widened slightly, then narrowed in intense thought; the next moment his eyes brightened and a slightly crooked smile curved at the corners of his mouth. The tilt of the roof was... Yes. It was possible. He might break both legs, or break his neck; it was insanely stupid. His small smile widened.

He spun, crossed Red's room in two long strides, and flung open the window. A split second later he was out on the angled tile roof, sliding down toward the street.

He never would have admitted it, but the journey down the roof wasn't fun. It was terrifying. Luckily, the fall from the lowest point of the roof was even shorter than he had guessed. He landed catlike, but the effect was somewhat spoiled by the fact that he was clutching his chest and gasping for breath. He looked up to see The Little Captain parked in a car a few feet away. He got gingerly to his feet and rapped on the window. "Changed my mind," he said, still breathing hard.

Rozenfeild slowly lowered the window "Oh really now? Well come on in..." still leaving the window open she looked up at the window which red was now staring out of

" Thanks Red you've done it again make sure to thank the ladies for me!!!"

" NOO problem Madmoiselle rozenfeild it's my pleasure!!!" she waved and called the girls back inside.

Rozenfeild smiled and lifted the window up. She started the car and drove fast.....she liked going fast. " So hows the old ticker?" she said turning to Scott and still driving like there's no tommorow.

Scott's face was serious. "Do you think that was funny? I could've died." Stupid little girl. Scott did not like getting tricked, and he'd already been played for a fool too many times... A pang of almost overwhelming sadness made it necessary to stop glaring at Rozenfield abruptly and start staring out the window.

"You can drop me off at the airport, thanks," he said, his voice carefully emotionless.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 09, 2007 6:02 pm

Rozenfeild sent the car to a screeching hault and ulled her gun on Scott
" Don't you dare call me stupid....especially don't call me little..."Rozenfeild glared at Scott she was tired and frustrated she just didn't know what to do anymore the 'prodogy' detective couldn't even handle one person? Teras began to run down her cheeks as she tried to stop crying.." I'll drop you off at the nearest ditch before I l..leave you at any..a...airport." she sniffed and wiped her tears with the other hand still keeping her gun pointed. She hated not being in control, she hated showing her real side, she hated being so young.

Scott raised his eyebrows as he simultaneously raised his hands up into a gesture of surrender. "You do know that if you shoot me with that, the least of what will happen is you'll lose your badge, right?" He knew better than to try and comfort the girl; the way she was now, if she thought he was being condescending she'd shoot him out of sheer pique.

Suddenly a very odd thought occurred to him; he hadn't called her a stupid little girl out loud. At least, he thought he hadn't... he'd been thinking about other things, so he could've....

tears began to flow from Rozenfeilds eyes. " My badge?"She lowered the gun. " I...I am so..sorry..Im acting like such a fool. Im just so tired...No boby seems to know anything and dealing with other people isnt very much my strongpoint. I ignored your well being...and I over reacted..Im...truly sorry.."she rested her head on the head rest of the drivers seat and sighed. " Trust me I wouldn't have shot you..." she closed her eyes.

Scott nodded, then realized that she wasn't looking at him. "I know," he said softly. He wasn't sure what to do; this kid was cold one second and weepy the next. After a moment, he thought of his little sister, who was maybe a year or two younger than Rozenfield. That put things into perspective.

"Look, we got of to a spectacularly bad start. I don't blame you for getting upset; I've been pretty rude to you. It's just hard to see someone two years older than your kid sister as your boss, but," He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "It was wrong of me to be biased like that," He didn't say that he was more sure than ever that sixteen-year-olds shouldn't be Captains, but he he thought it. The job was too stressful for most adults; a teenager certainly shouldn't have to do it.
