Personality: Xiuhcoatl was once nothing more than the simple muscle for a group of thug lions, and he's never considered himself to be that smart, just practical. However, since nearly dying in a river a few years ago and being rescued by a rabbit, he's become a withdrawn warrior with one thing that bounces around his mind: Revenge for fallen comrads. A stoic, shy, and silent lion, though a huge and powerful one, Xiuhcoatl would rather have other speak for him than speak for himself.
History: Xiuhcoatl grew up mostly alone. His parents were abusive, and he was the only one of their children to survive to adulthood on account of his strength and power. Eventually he ran away, but not being very smart, avoided other lions for fear of being taken advantage of. Then he met Coaxoch, a conwoman, who with her brother Eztil, convinced him to work for them. He actually grew very fond of the smart and deadly femme fatale and they became mates. While Eztil took charge of an ever-growing group of rogue thieves and misfits, Xiuhcoatl was his loyal second in command.
However, in a play for power amongst the group, a lioness who wanted to take control killed his six children by Coaxoch, and in retaliation, Coaxoch killed the lioness. The result of this was a split in side and loyalties inside the group, and eventually, everyone was killed, including Coaxoch.
It was during the final battle that Xiuh was lost, falling off a cliff in the middle of a fight, and when he called for Eztil to help him up, he recieved no answer. Instead, he fell, almost to his death, and was left as nothing but buzzardfood. He knows not what happened to Eztil... but he knows the lion well, and expects he survived.
The lion's life was saved, surprisingly, by none other than a wayward Hare who had been seeking a home. Xiuhcoatl now feels he owes his life to Jengo, and the two travel together. But revenge is now on Xiuh's mind, against those who left him to die... and he mourns the loss of his young children and his mate Coaxoch.

Personality: Morpheus is a quiet kind of hyena, who would much rather keep to himself and his learning than deal with other people. But when he does deal with others, it is always from a logical and pointed stand, where he rarely allows his emotions to get in the way. After all, emotions make a person weak and unobjective, as far as he's concerned. So looking at anything from the eyes of an unobjective person isn't really worth it, now is it?

Personality: This boy is absolutely in love with life! But it's not enough for him to just see the world, oh no, this boy wants to know everything about everything, and nothing less will do! Lucky for him, he met Morpheus, a historian who likes knowledge as much as he does. Kandoro may be sweet as a potato, but he's absolutely obsessed with knowing everything there is to know about the world! And he tends to get a little single-minded about it when faced with new people and new locations too... Mind like a steel trap this one.

Personality: This guy may seem even-tempered and calm when you first meet him, but he's a monster fire-cracker underneath, with a temper like his grandmother and a quick tongue to back it up. He's only interested in people who are just as fast on their feet and witty as he is, and he has a very low tolerance threshold for stupidity. He wants people around who want adventure like he does, and he's sincerely upset that he missed out on the great war. He'd love to be a hero some day, and honestly, he'd rather have the femme fatal at his side than the princess.

Personality: Quirky does not even begin to describe this boy. He has some weird ideas about life in general, and he always says what he thinks... even when it's bound to get him into trouble. And to say the least, his brutal honesty doesn't always fit with other people's opinions.
