Crux crossed his arms. He recalled the morning that he went through.
[Crux]
"Well, for one they were playing a game of some sort."
"It was a duel between the teacher and the student. It looked like fun but at the same time dangerous. Interesting battle don't you think so, teacher?"
*looks at the clock*
"Teacher, don't you think we should be starting the lesson already? I hate to admit it but we're wasting time."

"That's something I'll have to improve while I'm here then, correct?"

Valdis pivoted on her heel and swung her fist swiftly towards her teacher.
Her dexterity wasn't that bad at all, her fist met with Kat's. She pretty thankful she had wrapped her thread around it.
If she hadn't, it would hurt her even by a little.
She had heard what her classmates were saying.
If they wanted to fight so badly, why'd they hesitate then? Oh, how she wanted to fight with all of them after this.
She chuckled to herself. Finding herself amused.

*thread comes out of fist that is currently against Kat's*
*thread grips onto Kat's forearm and keeps it in place*
"Heh."
*raises leg to kick at Kat's side*

She stares at Mello with a blank face and walked back to her seat and sat down. And this time she wasn't going to space out, she'll be listening to every word that Mello will be saying. And at one point, she silently giggled to herself and smiled.

Mello looked back up at the rest of the class and smiled at them. She put her shoes back on, (Well, more like put her foot in the hole of the shoe and step on the back part), stood up and grabbed her green notebook and pen. She turned to face the class.
[Mello]
"Okay class. We're going outside right now to the training grounds. I'll explain what we'll do later. For now, follow me!" *grin*
[OoC]
Mello lead the class outside to the training grounds and began to explain what they were to do.
[Mello]
"Okay, this one hectare of land is our class' training grounds. You guys can come here anytime to train." pause "Now for what we'll do..." *stretches* "...each and everyone of you will show me your skills, one-by-one. Oh, by the way, you'll be fighting me. Show off if you want, I don't mind." *smile* "Now...who would like to go first?" *gets into position*

Each student was staring blankly at Mello. Then a voice broke the silence.
[Red]
"I'll go first, ma'am!"
[Ooc]
She walked to the spot where she was going to start. She took a deep breath and her hands started to burn. (The fire was extremely hot that when people touch it, they'll get a secong degree burn. The temperature of the fire only depends on her mood.) She nodded to Mello as a sign that she's ready.

Mello smiles at Red before suddenly disappearing from everyone's sight.
The students look around frantically, hoping to spot her.
Just then, Mello reappears right in front of Red and grins at her, before her hands touch the ground and she pushes herself to the air, flipping to Red's back and landing on one of her feet while the other throws Red off balance with a low kick to the feet.
[Mello]
"Hoho, I see that you are a fire user." *wider grin*

She fell forward and as she did, she smirked and suddenly the twosome were in a circle of fire that she, Red, had made. She got up and all of a sudden, a gigantic fire dragon appeared behind her. Her smirk turned into a smile as she sent the dragon flying directly at Mello.

Mello's eyes twinkled constantly as she saw Red display her skills.
[Mello]
"Oooh, that's some fire you got there, Red. You wouldn't want to get some water on it, would you?" *grin*
[OoC]
She flipped backwards continiously, each time landing gracefully on either her feet or hands. Noticing that she was trapped in a circle of fire, and that the dragon was following her every move, she jumped high up to the sky and pulled out something from her back, that glistened in the sunlight.
[Mello]
"Nito-ryuu."(Dual katana)
[OoC]
She put each of her dual katanas together, forming a sort of X.
[Mello]
"Kai."(Release)
[OoC]
The katanas glowed blue and a moment later, a lynx came out and jumped towards his master. Mello whispered something to him and the lynx suddenly turned translucent. The lynx's form turned to water and it merged with the dual katanas. As soon as the katanas were enveloped in the water, Mello jumped towards the fire dragon and with one swift motion of her katanas in opposite directions, she turned the fire dragon into vapor. She then landed on the ground, and stood facing Red with a very serious expression on her face.
[Mello]
"Never use that fire dragon again, you hear me?"

"Why is that, ma'am?"

"You want to know why?"

Mello walks up to her and looks at her with utmost seriousness.
[Mello]
"I've observed that each time you use your fire dragon, you don't need a summon or anything. I deduced that whenever you use it, you've been using it wrongly. You've been getting your power from your life force, meaning each time you use it, you shorten your life span. Don't use it again I've fully trained you to know how to use it and control it properly; then I'd deem you ready to use it. That's why you're in this class, isn't it? To learn how to use and control your skills for good." pause "Now, do you trust me enough as your teacher and trainer to help you?"

She smiled warmly at Mello. She completely gave her trust to her. And she was actually happy inside and out.
[Red]
"Yes I do, ma'am. From today on, you have my complete and honest trust. And thank you."

Mello looked at Red with a straight face. She searched her eyes, trying to tell if she told the truth or not. As soon as she was satisfied, she put a hand on her shoulder and said.

"Are you sure of what you're saying? Trust isn't something you can to a person so easily. Especially if they just met." *grin*

Val stared at her teacher in disbelief.
How exactly does she expect someone to pass her class?

*twists body using Kat as support, free foot hitting Kat's neck*
"Ugh..."
*thread releases Kat's forearm*
*raises left arm, thread clings onto building and she swings upward*
[OoC]
A small blade of thread potruted from Valdis' right arm as she swung upwards.
The blade shined under the sun light just as Val's hair did.
"Her hair is the same color as the thread," a student had stated.
