I am currently doing an art project in college about the Aesir Gods :] Well, only 3 of them...Odin, Thor and Tyr, my 3 favourites cool

Viking Metal Comatose Muffin I ******** adore Norse Mythology.
I'll be getting a Mjolnir tat sometime in the near future. And be namin' a horse(Friesian) the same.
Apparantly a bunch of Christians want thursday changed to something else... Think 'Day of Thunor/Thor'(Or however you want to say it) is trying to wipe out their religion...
I'm suprised they never said anything about Tuesday(Tyr), Wednesday(Woden.... Anglo-saxon name for Odin), or Friday(Freyja)...
I'm going to be getting a Mjolnir tattoo as well, for now my necklace suffices. And Mjolnir would be a really good name for a Friesian or Iberian horse. They just have the elegant and kingly appearance to bear such a name. Unfortunately, both of my horses got Native American names because they both look like Indian horses. I couldn't give them a Norse name, it just wouldn't feel right.
Christians are consistently looking for something to b***h about. Sad really.
I would love a Mjolnir tattoo! I have been trying to think of something for my first one and that would be great biggrin Thanks for the idea wink

how many people here other than me are Ásatrú.
for those of you dont know Ásatrú are modern worshipers of the norse gods.
just want to see if there are any more of us around here

Surely Garmr. He kills a God...Not just any God either, he kills Tyr in Ragnarok. Cerberus is just cool...don't know an awful lot about him though

Isnt it Fenris who is to kill Tyr in Ragnarok? He sacrificed his hand to the wolf aswell.. as far as I can remember. >.<
