If it was "just the blocky nature" over-lapping, how would you be able to tell if they were holding hands or not? xD The graphics are less than desired at that point, so no you haven't crushed my dreams or anything. Actually, Pink already mentioned to me before that they might not be holding hands. And, I agree the very well might not be. Just because Tifa "catches up to him" and their hands "overlap" doesn't mean they aren't holding hands/connected some-how.
And like Twin said, in Maiden they embrace. So Cleris might want to just accept the 'holding hands' part instead. -laughs-.

LunarSchemer I wanted to point out some things that I noticed, about this scene.
For starters, when you talk to one of the 'Clouds' he says : "Tender feelings.. A secret... no-one can know."
That secret was of how he thought he had failed Tifa, and how he thought that she blamed him. (when she didn't) I thought it was important that 'tender feelings' was mentioned. Cloud had very tender feelings for Tifa, is what that meant to me. Interesting.
Next, before Cloud and Tifa enter the lifestream, if you talk to the nurse she says: "That girl has been by his side this whole time. She must really love him."
I thought that was SOO sweet! That even the nurse could notice how strongly Tifa cared about Cloud and wanted to save him.
Third, did any of you notice that as Tifa and Cloud are leaving the lifestream, they are holding hands? :3
And fourth, when Tifa is speaking with the 'child' Cloud, she says that she's sorry that she never noticed Cloud, and that she didn't blame him, and that their memories by well etc... were real.
The child Cloud says,
"Tell that same thing to him(referring to the present Cloud), I bet he will be so happy."
I was almost crying by then!!! D'X
And then I realized--- I had forgotten that Tifa's mother had died! I started to really think, Tifa had a really tough life. She lost her mother and then her father later on. That must of been so devastating for her! And, I never really liked Tifa's Dad though, for treating Cloud so cruelly. I guess I can SORT of understand, since it was his daughter who was hurt but...
He didn't have to blame Cloud for what happened and say, "what if she dies?!"
If Tifa really did die there, Cloud would of thought it was all his fault! And he was just a small child! I just thought that was terrible.
Oh yeah, and how when Cloud came back to Nimbleheim(sp w/e); I thought it was sooo sad that Cloud hid his face from Tifa because he thought he was a failure. *sniffle*

"I know Tifa"???! If he knows and he loves her why isn't he with her?? Come on Guys......THink........Look at the facts. Wow IT just became really clear to me,Now I have no doubts about Cloud loving Aerith. Thanks everyone stare rolleyes scream eek

If he was talking about Aeris, than why were his thoughts revolving around Tifa? Not once in this entire scene is Aeris mentioned, only Tifa. Tender feelings leads into a memory about TIFA, not Aeris. So how are his hidden tender feelings about the lovely pink flower girl, who your Avi makes a mockery of, might I ask?
No. It's not all things TIFA does. Look at the Cloti quotes section. Look at Cloud saving Tifa, telling her he will fufill her promise, telling her 'thank you', being inspired to fight Sephiroth because of her, feeling like he's failed her, trying to impress her, the actions in this scene, the highwind scene... Do I NEED to go on? I think you my dear, are the blind one. :] Cloud talks to Tifa more than anyone in FFVII, IMO.
Um.. Cliff by the ocean? WTF?! Have you played the game or are you making up scenes... Come on nao. -giggle-
By the way, KH2 isn't canon. And if it was, I think it proves Cloti a lot more. ;D
Cloud is having a hard time trying to find himself, and get over his hard past. He left Tifa and the family, because he didn't want to cause them problems. DUH.
Tifa and Cloud still live together in DOC. For all we know, they could be together at this point. Explain why the pink ribbons used to symbolize Aeris are gone and Cloud and Tifa are still together?
We know nothing of what has happened in that time frame. We can assume whatever we want.
So don't come here, and be a one-sided snot. : D

Like Lunar said, no mention of Cleris at ALL. It was all him and Tifa and their journey to find the truth and each other. Oh Oh! Guess what another Cloti scene is?! The Highwind where Tifa leans on Cloud and they tell each other their troubles and where Cloud cheers her up. Oh Oh! Another Cloti, the whole Case of Tifa! Oh em gee, what a surprise. Of course, rabid Cleris fans don't read Case of Tifa 'cause they're scared that it'll spell out Cloti. And WHERE is this scene by the cliff? When did Tifa EVER tell her feelings? Play the game. You're infuriating me.
