I hated Avon's show. Blegh. I may be inclined to be biased though. Avon's is like out most hated rival. I'm from Spirit of Central by the way. Got tenth... We have a theory that we'll win next year though. 2003 show that was entitled Breakthrough got 11th. Next year the show La Rosa won. We think it's just that time again. We're slipping so now we're gonna focus and take it back.

I have nothing against LD Bell, but I don't think they should have won. They should have won last year. I loved their show last year. But not this one...

Last years show was better. My school is slipping due to change in staff and a new high school opened up. So were probably not gunna go for a while. I'm sad. I have Beef against Bell. They always win now adays. Them or marcus. Where did we go? We used to be at the top!

My band was a semi-finalist last year.

Our band was thirty-second at BOA Nationals. And twenty-ninth at BOA regionals. It was great fun.

My Band went to Grand Nats in 2006 for the first time and made it all the way to Finals.
It was amazing!

This year we atteneded BOA San Antonio, Houston, and I think another one.
I can't remember.

We made like 7 in San Antonio with the stupidest scores ever.
2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 13th!

13th for Visual Ensemble.
Ugh.

We were only a few points off from semi-finals at Indiana, BOA, last year.

You wont beleive this. Our BOA at Hoftstra University, was rained out of the semi-finals!!! We went straight to the finals and marched with intensity and got 2nd place. Lots of crying from the seniors....

Our band was fourth at Grand Nationals this year!

x3

I'M SO HAPPY!

And I mean no offense to ANYONE!....*sigh* but I really really really disliked L.D. Bell's show. Their band's formations weren't spectacular EVEN THOUGH THEIR MARCHING WAS PRIM AND THEIR GUARD WAS...*faints* OH MY GOSH. I just think they could've had some harder formations, yeah? And maybe...instead of hiding under little cloudy bubbles...they could do something snazztastic. Was it more of a guard show than anything, yeah?

NO OFFENSE....just sayin'...but I liked Avon. They rocked.

My Director went to check out the one in St. Louis this year. My marching band is only five years old, but some of the seniors from this year were hopeful for next year. They said we had a good chance. I'm only a sophmore this year, so hopefully before I graduate. I go to Andover HS in Minnesota.

Our band directors went to GrandNats this year. They wanted to see what it was like, since we're going next year! OO= (Maybe I'll see some of you there? xD) We're like, super-excited. Next year our band will be six years old, so we're really happy about this opportunity to prove what we got! xD;
But yeah, getting back on topic, I watched LD Bell's show on YouTube. I will agree, their marching was good: high toes, no phasing, good forms with clarity, etc. However, I will admit that I wasn't very impressed. I mean, the last five minutes they didn't even play?...

Our band went to BOA in Flagstaff and East Los Angeles. I guess we're jaded, because supposively we always make finals. ^-^; We got second in Flagstaff and tenth at East L.A. *shrugs*

*cough cough*

Did you know that the girl (the one that was being stalked by the yellow thingie) in their show was an eigth grader?.......yeah. But I totally agree with ya....

BOA has become more of a fashion show than a music show...even though formations is technically what marching band is all about...you can't NOT play savvy?

An eighth grader?! How'd they get away with that?
Yeah, at BOA East L.A., even though they're really good, Arcadia HS's show was supposively really traditional, and they didn't make finals. But then again, Thousand Oak's show was cool and modern, and they didn't make it either. .__.

My band goes to BOA every year... I don't know why though... we don't do as well there as other places. You would think that if a band wins Best Musical Performance, they'd go to finals... but nope. luckly we did a bit better at BOA San Antonio... but even then, they still didn't really like us. But, I can't complain too much... we did make finals at that one.
