feeling it was a good time to distance herself from the familiarity of the group, Try slowly retreated back to a more secluded spot, still remaining with in the group, more so then she had before at the very least, eyes still locked on the eggs at the front, seeming to look past all the bodies that could be blocking them. blocking out most of what was happening around her, she started pondering names for each, allowing her attention to focus on each in turn, and forming names that where appropriate to the feel she got from them.

Azareth notes Koda, making notes, and ponders going to speak to her again, but then leaves her be, to watch from nearby. In the meantime, she examined the others, pondering names for the girls. She found a nice, comfortable spot to perch and watch the others, her wings half mantled, finding it more comfortable.

"Oh," Tuaria aknowledged breifly, recalling the elderly male harpy. "How come they only get special names if they're the right genders?" she wondered aloud. "Are the good names only for the boys?" Her inquisitve blue eyes glanced fleetingly over at Iris.
"Thank you, Auntie Koda!" She wanted to leave; she really did if only to avoid getting into any more trouble. But there was still so much she wanted to know! Oh well...she could find out later. Hopefully they wouldn't be too busy to answer her questions another time, but for now she suspected she was causing more of a dely than anything. There was still so much to do before the celebration.
"Ooh, a flower crown?!" the golden chick exclaimed, hopping up and down in her entusiasm. She pictured a golden tiara made of wild yellow roses and fregrant daffodils. "Will you show me, huh, please Liluye?! Will you?" she pleaded. "We can make all sorts to pass out to guests and stuff! And we can make especially grand ones for their mother! She must be so proud!" Tuaria listened attentively as Liluye listed off her colors.
"Wow, sounds complicated!" she added when her friend finished. "Maybe I can help! I know where most plants grow now because I'm the herb healer's apprentice. Shall we go now? The sooner we leave, the sooner we can get back!" Gesturing with a wing as they once again were in vew of the open sky, she directed Liluye's attention with a wingtip.
"There! See? There's a sea of flowers down in that meadow where I first met the taur. Oh, but since it's starting to become fall, they're withering, so we have to go an gather them up quickly!"
Suddenly remembering something, Tuaria paused, then hopped back toward the banquet hall, deciding it would be better not to fly in this time. "Hold on a sec, Liluye! I forgot something. Go one without me, I'll meet you there!"
Hurrying inside, the chick was overwhelemed by the growing amount of harpies who had decided to show up. With some difficulty, she fought through the crowd and found Iris among the others. It wasn't too difficult to spot her with her brilliant feathers.
"Um...Auntie Iris?" Tuaria called, remembering the adult's name. "Would you like to come with Liluye and I to go make some flower crowns? We thought you might know the colors best. Er, if you're not too busy of course." She didn't want the colorful female to remain here feeling lonesome.

Azareth murmured other names as she perched, watching the others. She wasn't sure who all she could approach, she didn't really know anyone. She tried to hide it but she was, at heart, shy. She knew her dark coloring disturbed some people and she hated having folk think she was evil. Her name didn't help, she knew.

Iris blinked at the little harpy's invitation, bending down to smile at the child. "Thank you very much for the invitation Love, but I'm afraid that I have to stay here. You see, the Matriarch needs myself and Koda to assist her in running the celebrations. However, I would very much like to make flower crowns with you another time." The older harpy leaned in for a conspiratory whisper. "And you know, perhaps if you stay about a little longer, you can enjoy the crafting tables we're setting up? Plenty of supplies for flower crowns there. And I can teach you how to make a pretty necklace like the one your mother has. But don't tell! They're a surprise."
((Just so everyone knows, my posting will be slightly sporadic in these next few weeks. There's no internet at our house at the moment and I'll be moving soon. However, I still fully intend to help keep this thing going. surprised ))

A few names; Einin had been thinking of them since she had known the egg party would be held. Some more traditional, some more exotic. She thought that perhaps she would name her child something a little unusual, if she ever had an egg.

((Life sucks, I love high school, but I'm lazy so comp and homework are re aranged in my importance list which is now the right order. Homework first, comp second. Once I beat Twilight Princess I'ma going to be back Gaia a lot more.))

((*yawns* Here goes another random post.))
Kalpana walked alongside the far wall, her eyes watching the beautiful decorations that were hanging off the walls giving the room more color. Her light blue eyes every now and then glancing back towards the eggs. Wondering if the bright red one was actually a male.
Shrugging her shoulders she looked back at the decorations. She opened her brown wings and stretched them as wide as they could go because they were gettting a little stiff from all her flying the day before. She thought a few more things, then decided that she'd go for a fly, hoping to escape the busyness of the room. Heading towards the door she hoped noone would notice her leaving. There was after all, a lot of harpies there, they wouldn't notice one little kid leaving. Would they?
