A large boom rocked the room and Haruko fell backwards in the chair, toppling backwards over her own head when she landed. She had managed to form it into a ball that time, if only for a brief second. However, she might have put to much reiatsu into to small of an area for her to control, because it had exploded violently and she had wound up sprawled across the middle of the floor, gazing up at the ceiling. She stodd up and dusted herself off before righting her chair and sitting down in it again. The pages of her notbook were slightly scorched, but still readable. She let out a soft sigh and tried again, this time more carefully.

Shunketsu had his head and arms sticking out the window, but he was barely conscious...Shunketsu heard someone speak from the hallway and recognized that it wasn't the voice of any students he knew...and his eyes opened a bit when he heard that he needed two kidous to graduate...
"crap..." was the first thing that escaped Shunketsu's mouth as he knew he was weak with kidou...
Without thinking much, he walked out the door, still half-asleep, and kinda fell down the stairs...One couldn't really tell if that was intentional or not, being that he was clearly awake now after the fall down the stairs...but one would have to question if that was the best way of waking oneself...but now, he just lay there on the first floor, staring at the ceiling, blocking the stairway that connected the 2nd and 1st floors...
"hmm...how on earth am I going to learn kidou? maybe I should hit the books...hmmmmm"

After several more small explosions, her uniform were not only torn from training, but now it was slightly charred as well. She, however, had finally gotten the hang of it. She was able to form a ball-like shape of reiatsu in her hand and hold it there (although every quiver on the surface made her panic), as well as release it without explosive consequences. Now she just had to put a fine tuning on it, si that she could form a perfect ball, and keep the surface constantly solid. She let the reiatsu ball slowly fizzle out into a cloud and set up to try again.

After a few more tries, Haruko had managed to mold the odd, egg shapped reiatsu "ball" into something that could actually live up to its namesake. It was now (almost) perfectly spherical, and she was quite happy with it. Letting this one fizzle out from her hand, she though it over in her head on what was the next step. Which was, of course, to make it bigger. The bigger the ball, the harder it was to keep stable, so it was a no brainer for practicing. With quite a bit more confidence in herself, she set up and began to form a larger reiatsu ball.

Haro smiled as he stood there, looking at Kaosu and just heaving a sigh. "Well, if this is what you want to do." He said with a shrug, then I will show you no mercy." He said as he closed his eyes and a couple of symbols changed upon his neck and his upper torso and arm. His legs then bent and his arm crossed over his chest with his double bladed scythe and he took a deep breath as he stood there. His eyes were narrowed into that battle-stage look and he nodded over to Kaosu. "We will show the first timers something huge." He said with a grin. His foot then slammed against the ground, propelling him forwards and he swung the blade of the scythe upwards, diagonally towards Kaosu's torso and jaw.

Haruko had been gradually adding a little bit of size to each reiatsu ball she made, however she grew impateint after another half dozen, and decided to try for one twice the size of her first stable reiatsu ball. The conclusion was less then favorable, and once again Haruko was more that slightly scorched. This was much harder work than she had thought, and she would have to work gradually, slowly adding to the size every time she made a new ball. It might take a while, but eventually she would have one large enough to make her happy.

Kaosu grinned. "We will." Watching Haro run forward, he brought his sword up and met the strike, his blade getting hooked in the cross between the blade and the pole. Once he was sure that the scythe wouldn't rip up into his jaw, Kaosu let one hand go off his own zanpakutou, and spun around the weapon.
Bringing himself to the side of the blade, he swung his scimitar across Haro's stomach and then turned the blade, bringing the blunt pommel straight towards Haro's gut.

(remember, you should still be rolling ev en if you have a 25 and I have a 21...if you roll a 1 you auto-fail your dodge Kaosu.)

Haro grinned as he watched Kaosu skillfully throw his weapon up and block the incoming attack, the guy was at least learning something, that was for sure. Even if Haro lost the fight, battle experiance was worth it. He closed his eyes and he watched the attack coming down towards his gut, but was too slow to slam the second blade down and block the attack. He felt the cold steel slide through his stomach and he cried out in pain as he stood there, holding his gut. But he didn't let it affect him for too long, because moments later his swung the second blade downwards to hit the weapon out of the way before it crashed into the large gash on his stomach yet again. After he had done that he grinned as he spat a bit of blood out and then pivoted on his left foot and spun around, slamming the first blade of his scythe down towards Kaosu's knee.

((Apologies, old friend. It's formed something of a habit.))
Swiftly turning so his blade aimed downwards, he placed his free left palm against the back of his zanpakutou, adding reinforcement to block Haro's strike. Instead of finding the grapple point of the weapon, he let the scythe skid off his own weapon, sending it elsewhere.
Stabbing his weapon into the ground, he let himself begin flying into an attack. He spun, letting momentum fuel the strike for a double attack he had in mind for Haro's shoulders. The first flew fair and true, but the second wobbled off-aim horribly. It was expected for a person who had never really spun through the air; or spun at all for that matter. He just wanted to make it interesting. Find something he liked.

Haro narrowed his eyes as he stood there, feeling his weapon sliding across the surface of his opponent's. He heaved a sigh and shook his head, surprised at just how good his friend had gotten. He was amazed and deeply pleased with Kaosu's progress. "You have gotten good my friend, I have watched you grow since we got into the academy together, and I do say, you have become an amazing shinigami within our class." He said with a smile as he looked at the oncoming attacks.
The first of the pair flew towards him and his eyes widened as he looked at it. The blade was coming down towards his shoulder and he tried to thrust up his zanpakutou but it took too long, his reaction slowed by Kaosu's fancy maneuver and he smirked as he felt the blood begin to leak down his arm, even thoguh the second attack had missed due to it's own miss-direction. He closed his eyes and blinked, wanting to scream as the pain seered through his shoulder. But he manned up and said nothing.

Spinning around, he stopped and wiped his blade clean of blood before sheathing it. "Enough?" He sighed, smiling. "I don't want to kill you. That wouldn't be too great."

Ren looked up and sighed, so what exactly was going to happen when he was done with training. "Wghen will I be done anyway?" he wondered dully. He grabbed his sis's sword and smiled, "We'll be together when that happens right?" he asked it .

Haruko was quite pleased, as she was now able to hold the reiatsu ball at nearly twice its original size, the ball of spirit energy filling up her hand. If she kept at it, just a little more, then she would be where she wanted, and could start working on learning some kidou. If all went according to her plan, she should be able to learn one of them before she had to set off for class, which she would do when she heard the last of the students leave, which would be fairly easy due to the open window on the other side of the room.

He narrowed his eyes as he shook his head. "Death is something I do not fear, but to not finish an opponent until he is ready to collapse is a worse sin then to lose the fight itself." He said with a curt bow as his symbols all returned to their normal places. "Well done...." He said as he turned on his heel and he began to walk away, not paying attention to the blood that was dripping down his shoulder and out of his stomach. He did not let Kaosu know...but he felt extremely inferior to his friend now...he didn't know how to take it anymore. He just felt like he had moved nowhere at all and his friend had gone from his level to the best in the class while he stuck still....he was completely demolished...couldn't even put a scratch on his enemy. He heaved a sigh and shook his head. "Looks like I'll never catch up to him now." He said with a sigh as he looked to the floor. He sat down and he placed his zanpakutou in front of him and he smirked. "Alright....time for you to make me a little stronger again. I want your help...please." He said with a nod as he closed his eyes and awaited for the zanpakutou to accept him back into the world that it had created. The reality around him immediatewly blended into itself and he could no longer see anythign before it began to change in color within the blended mesh of colors...and then it all settled. He was back to where he would need to train for his shikai.
