As Blair was cut, the fountain filled a little with a black liquid . Domino blocked the lycan's attack and said
"Okay let me spell it for you. The point of this is to open the gate. Is that simple enough?" he said as he circled Blair. "..and really what do you care what i do as long as you get your reward in the end?" he said as he moved for an upward slash.

"So I have to get cut, to fill the fountain, which will open the gate, and this 'cage' will lift?" Blair was talking mainly to herself. "very true, I suppose. I still would prefer not to have to get hit." She backed up, avoiding the blade. "You are lucky I heal fast, or I wouldn't care if I have to be trapped here with you. For I would assure you that I would just be stuck with the corpse of you." Blair jumped up and kicked him in the face, turning and bringing her sword down at his shoulder.

Domino smirked and said " promises,promises." as he was cut and the cage lashed out again at Blair. Domino used this time to lash out at her with his foot as he made a quick slash to her abdomen.

Blair let out a yelp, and tried to move backwards in order to miss the sword. Only this time she allowed it to graze against her stomach. She cletched her teeth together.

The fountain filled up with more black liquid as the sword grazed Blair. Domino began to slowly circle Blair, like a predator circling prey " Almost halfway done..." he remarked casually as he held his sword up on the defensive.

"You don't know how badly I'm going to hurt you after this..." Blair snarled, glancing at the fountain and then following Domino's movements. Very quickly, Blair advanced, slashing her sword down at him.

He brought his sword up to block as the steel crashed against each other"Oh please....you knew what was in store..I even let you name your own price. So get over it." While there swords were interlocked,Domino lashed out with a swift punch to Blair's jaw.

"Ha! If I knew I'd have to get hurt purposely just for a bloody trinket then I would have took a rain check." Blair growled, "Besides with or without my soon-to-be prize, I can still tortue Kiara Garnet." She moved back a bit too slowly. Her head snapped to the side and she blinked before looking back at Domino, seeming to be even more pissed. Blair took a quick hop back and then moved forwards again. With her sword in more of a stabbing notion towards his stomach.

Domino moved backward from the thrust,it managed to puncture him slightly. The cage once again lashed out.
"Ah well quit musing at what you could have done. Admit it,despite the fact you take damage, you enjoy trying to hurt me. It's in your nature after all. If it help I assure this will be the last injustice you shall endure from me..." he said with only a minor amount of cynicism.
He then began to press on with an unseen ferocity,making a rapid succession of strikes both high and low.

Blair winced and took a step back. "That is true." She admitted. Attempting to hurt a used-to-be vampire and now a demon was truly enjoyable for her.
She felt the air pressure change as he began slashing at her. Instantly Blair began to back up. She wasn't doing it as fast as she would have. Now she was slowing, letting a few of them strike her. She cletched her teeth and tried blocking after she couldn't take anymore of her forcing herself to get hurt.

The fountain began filling up far more rapidly as a few of domino's strikes connected. Now the fountain was almost full.
Domino felt the two swords clash together, and he once again backpedaled slightly saying " We're almost done here on more strike should finish it."

Blair took in a deep breath and nodded, "Fine. Let's finish this. I don't have all day." She said as she prepared herself ones more to get hit.

He nodded and said " I'll make this quick..." with that he moved with inhuman speed,he then made a large horizontal slash at her stomach.

As the blade struck her stomach, she cursed under her breath. Dropping her sword, Blair held her stomach which was now bleeding quite alot for it was cut so many times. She crouched forwards, staring at the her now bloody hands. "That was fun." Blair said looking up at Domino and then to the fountain, her anger had suddenly vanished.

The fountain overflowed with dark liquid as the copper gate behind it groaned slightly. Then the fountain moved backwards and fused with the copper gate,the liquid still flowing into the the fountain. A small clicking sound assured that the gate was unlocked.
" uh huh...whatever you say...." Domino said not really paying much attention to Blair as the cage of energy dissipated into nothingness. Domino put away his sword and recalled Blair's sword back into the shadows from which it was made.
