Skyjjin Elrodias Having taken his break, he stands up and looks around, first to the left, then the right, then up at the sky. His bag still sat on the ground, holding a very precious item: His father's lightsaber. Skyjjin had given it to Ryan's mother, Monica, before he turned to the dark side. He was never seen after that, but some rumors had went around about him gone missing from the Academy, which is very shady from a Dark Jedi Master. This object is all he had left from his father, and he would never lose it. Ryan bent over and opened his bag and grabbed the black hilt from sitting on top of a towel he brought with him. It was long and slender, and instead of a button, there was a thumbpad, that would only ignite for family. The saber had gotten some dust in it from sitting in his mom's cupboard for so long, but had been cleaned off as most as it could when it was given to Ryan. It still seems warm from when he held it... I can almost know that he held it one last time in the night while I was asleep... Being confused by this, he backtracked his steps to what he really meant, and thought about it once more. It seems, as if it was being used recently, but the only one who could use it was my father... but how is that possible? He wouldn't be in a big city like this, especially if he was wanted by Dark Jedi, and had a warrent by the Jedi... Ryan clipped the saber to the inside of his garments and slung his backpack over his shoulders, and continued walking. He wasn't going anywhere in particular, just walking until he couldn't anymore. There was no motives or plans in his head, but he still looked forward to the future, and he still had hope that he would make it and probably strike rich in the middle of Coruscant somewhere...

The_Last_PlainsWalker As Glacian continued to type he said to his fellow Jedi, "I think that Ms.Egroeg took Maddas's blaster and shot Ledif in the back of the head, took his money and hid it in the building somewhere, possibly in the bathroom or a safe deposit box or something like that. Then she came out with a valide alibi and just her luck, the security recording is on the frizt, which speaking of, I've almost fixed. Either that or Maddas was in on it and shot him while Ms.Egroeg went inside to 'stash the cash' either way, I think Ms.Egroeg went into the buidling to hid something, most possible the credits." Ryan had been walking for a while when he overheard two people talking, next to a group, and a dead body covered on the ground. Instantly, he wanted to keep walking... his mother had always told him not to get involved in public affairs. He was about to keep going, until a gleam from a cylindrical object met his eye. It can't be... He is... a jedi! Those other two talking to him... they must be jedi too!! I can't pass this up... If I don't get help, I will never make a future for myself... It looks like they are busy... I will not interrupt, but I will make my presence known....He sets his bag down, and walks over to the crowd, and takes a risk and kneels facing the superior Jedi. With his head down, these words escape his mouth: Hello Jedi. I notice you are busy, but I must talk with you, as soon as possible, maybe even when you are done. I can wait sir... He continues to sit there, now sweating, prepared for whatever the jedi will say to him.

Take a closer look at the blurred version. As it is blurred, it is very likely that the Auto-focus function of the camera was dead.
Now look at the tape..
[The camera moves from left to right in the hallway of the club, at the moment it comes to the door on the left, it zooms in to the door, then the camera gradually zooms out while moving back to the right. This pattern loops as long as the camera is on. The level of blur on the tape never seems to change]
Ok, something is wrong with the blur-levels on these tape...can you tell me what that is?
Ok, sir, we will talk to you when this is done...ok?"

"You said the victim carried 5000 credits cash. was he also carrying a chipcard?"
"Yes sir, he did carry one, but there was no credit on the card. Nobody in this distrcits accepts cards anyway, so it's not suprising"

First, Ynot, tell me something about the account. How much money was on it, was it a new accound? Do you share the account?..."
It seemed Ynot attempted to cry again, but no tears came out. She hassled a bit, then stuttered
"Eh..Eh...yeah...'t was a new account...opened together yesterday... we both have cards, he trusts me well...trusted, sorry. There's 220000 credits on the account...he paid 25000 for me and had 5000 cash from the 250000, noting else of it spend so far"
"Sir. These statements match my data, it is a shared account. But, there are 218000 credits on the account. A transaction to card 223-00-8221-234-B has been made yesterday evening, 2000 credits. The card number does not match the victims card"

With a scared look in her eyes she stumbled "Sorry..I forgot..yes, I updated my card yesterday to go shopping tomorrow... I forgot...due to all the mess"
"2000 credits are hard to be forgotten by someone that lived on the streets until 2 days ago"
Ynot started to look angry, she wanted to punch something or someone, but managed to hold back
"You'll forget things as well if your wife would just be murdered!"
"My wife got killed years ago. It only made my mind and goal clearer."

Ynot turned red now and pressed her eyes together, she started to swear, cry and scream at the same time, while stamping around. Most of the group seemed to be astonished by this reaction. "And you probably didn't have any love eversince! No wonder you're so emotionless, you, you..."
before she could continue, the Twilek held her back and whispered something in her ear. Ynot calmed down suprisingly quickly and pressed a few buttons on something looking like a watch, then she whispered into it..
"It seems your last idea isn't that bad..kari..."
Swex looked to the security tapes, still blurred, and smiled. Afterwards he rubbed his side a bit, then turned back to the suspects

Diamond took a breath before starting his explanation.
"As we know the victim had strained relations with both suspects and so both were at first under suspicion. But now it is clear who did it...the killer was Maddas.
How do I come to this conclusion, simple. Maddas had good reason for wanting to kill him as the victim had Maddas banned from this area and so would want the victim dead. He knew the corpse was going to be here tonight and waited his time and then took his chance and killed him."
Diamond wasn't finished just yet....
"But how would he know the victim was going to be here tonight? Simple, he was told...he was told by Ynot Railb, the victim's girlfriend. The victim and Railb recently openned a new joint banking account which had 250,000 credits in it, a lot of money to anyone. If the victim died then his girlfriend would inherit all the money in the account."
Diamond was so sure he was right but was still treading cauiously.
"So last night Railb withdrew 2000 credits from the joint account and paid Maddas to kill her boyfriend. It was easy enough to convince him as he already hated the victim and wanted him dead, the money was just to sweeten him a little.
I believe this murder was orchestrated by both Maddas and Ynot Railb"
Diamond looked towards his Master for his advice.

"That need money... you love your children, you're poor, you needed money..but would you murder for a mere 2000 credits, facing a realistic chance to be put away for a looong time leaving your wife and children defenseless?"

Maddas looked to the ground sadly, he was obviously thinking about his familty and just wanted to get back home quick, to see them again, to forget this and all these other miserabilities he lived trough
"You're a good person Maddas... I can't let you go until we got the real killer, but I know it isn't you. You sound honest and caring...it is unfortunate you had to go trough so many problems this early in life.. I hope times will better for you...Regarding the history of the victim, he probably started the fight in the red distrcit but back then he was already a popular figure there...that's why they blamed you, the guards, an the authorities tend to believe them... I don't see you start a fight that quick...
Diamond, I am 90% sure Maddas wasn't involved..."

"In any way, we're coming into the right direction...but something about these records is wrong. Look at the way auto-focus is supposed to work, and the way it should be acting if it was shut off or broken.... compare it with the way the image is always blurred in the same way"

Swex recieved a holocall and put his reciever to his ear. He listened to the message which came from a friend of him on Tatooine. A small smile appeared on his face, then he returned the reciever to his belt. Back to business, he'd take a chat-up with Mato later

"Well Master I am pretty sure myself now he didn't do it but I am still 100% sure the former prostitute is involved in it.
The blur levels should decrease when the camera focuses in on something, so its obviously been tampered with. Master anyone with an ion attachment or pack in his/her weapon could have shot the camera to merely damage it enough for a short period to do the shooting and not be recognised."

"Indeed, the blur level should change as the camera focusses. Regarding the fact the guard was nearby the camera, any shot would have been noticed by him. Unless he manupulated the files himself that is. Certain is a messup in the system did not cause it, because then either files would have been lost, or as said, the blur would fluctuate if the autofocus was gone...
Besides that, how did you get those security records with you that easy? most clubs take good care of those and only watch them indoor.... did your boss authorize this or did you just take them?..."
"I..asked my boss if I could come with her...we didn't mess the files"
The guard sweated and turned a bit pale in the face, he seemed scared. The twilek looked like she had to visit the toilet, and her mind confirmed that
"How many alcohol have you consumed today, whitness?"
"We haven't consumed any so far, sir..."

Diamond turned to the security guard and paused slightly, the guard was unusually nervous. The more they asked questions the more he got nervous Diamond noticed but only noticed it just now.
"May I see your blaster please? If you having nothing to fear then you will glady hand it over."
The guard paused slightly almost hesistantly...
"I know you have a blaster as its law that all security guards in this sector carry a hand gun. Now please hand it over."
The guard finally turned it over to him. Diamond inspected the weapon and his suspicions were correct: it was a short range blaster and it had been fired recently.
"May I ask one more thing? Do you have a bank account?"

Yes, the blaster was fired recently as a warning shot. To be exact, 47 minutes before the murder, I've seen the security logs of the club, it was noted in them a small riot was there at that time. Of course, he has a bank account for his salery.
However, the guard is not a suspect.. because he was stationary at the time of murder, in the hall of the club. He didn't shoot the camera, because it isn't an ion blaster he's carrying. The files are manipulated after the murder."
