Sayuri smiled sympathetically.
"Yes, mine is a tale of tragedy and woe," Sayuri replied. "But I don't like to dwell on the sadness in life. Instead, let's move onto the future and what it holds in store for us. I have been invited to go to a geisha party, later. Let us hope that only good can come from these things."

Yumea bowed her head. "I'm sorry for what trouble you've had. Yes, relax here and get away for awhile. Everything will turn out right" she soothed. "Hmm...well, lets see. I'm not an official geisha yet Jade-san. I'm currently studying for it though. I'm a simple maiko.
I really haven't had any 'problems', just the usual pervert in the streets and ally-ways, especially once when I got lost. I fought him off on my own and tried to run, but my ankle buckled then twisted and a nice man came and saved me. He carried me back to my previous okiya...I wonder if I'll see him ever again... " her thoughts drifted to the boy from then. She then realized her daydreaming and returned to the conversation.
"A guardian? Please explain." She said with an eager smile. She leaned forward slightly and listened intently.

Kyoku sat and smiled at all the happy women, watching them talk and move about. Sayuri talked softy, keeping a gentle nature, very good for a maiko, Kyoku thought. Carefully Kyoku got up and wandered over to the young girl.
"Sayuri, may i speak with you for a moment?" she asked smiling warmly

((this RP is fun! biggrin )) She gathered her thoughts for a while, having another sip. "I was in the army and I worked in nightclubs and whatnot... I did a lot of bad things to bad people. But it's not what I wanted to do. I'm not gonna try to convince you... it's no use. It's my cause to be a guardian. Protect people. I had enough of senseless massacres, I have kids to look out for. I dont want them to know I was a corporate assassin or whatever... I just want everyone to know I'm not such a bad person. I used to be a slave girl a while ago, and I'm getting up from all that. I dont wanna do contracts any longer. Stick in one place and be there when the times comes that I need to be around." She had got up, grabbing one of her knife for a short training, quickly cutting the air in her patterns without even looking at what she was doing. After a while she just thre the knife down on the pillow and sighed, looking back at Yumea. "Peace of mind, it's what I'm after. It's what we're all after. The man that saved you.... You know who he is? What does he look like? I know a lot of people, maybe I could find a way for you two to meet again, if I can do that...."
