Espers... so cute... Her hand lifted involuntarily to touch his face, then halted halfway. A cute blush warmed her cheeks as Relm dropped said hand, putting it casually on his arm instead. She looked at her hand on his arm a minute before returning her gaze to the chocolate brown eyes she loved so much. "Thanks for coming with me, Keme. I..." Words failed her and she smiled with her face full of love. "Thanks."

Keme blinked at her and then smiled gently. He picked her up hand gently and kissed the back of it, "Anything for you Relm." he whispered.

Anything? Her eyes lit up and her face flushed. Relm had to close and avert her eyes quickly before anyone saw the look that started to show within the light green. "I'd do anything for you too, Hummer. Anything at all."
Very lightly, her hand smoothed the fabric of Keme's jacket sleeve. It was not terribly wrinkled... but it gave her something to do, something to focus on.
After a few moments of silence she spoke again. "Keme... did you want to do anything after the show? I think in the excitement... we never said." Opening her eyes Relm turned her head and gave him a slightly sheepish smile for her oversight.

"Well, how about we go over to my tree? I haven't been there in a while, and I heard the night should be warm, so we shouldn't be cold." he said as suggestion, slowly standing up and holding his hand out to her so they could head out of the theater to stretch their legs until the opera started again.

Smiling she took the offered hand and stood. Keme's tree... could it be any more perfect? "That sounds wonderful."
Somehow or another she would deal with walking there in her heels. At least they were not stilettos or something.
It was nice to stand & walk around after being so stiff & still & formal in the seats. It was not something Relm was accustomed to, but at the same time she felt like royalty. A few of the others in the audience stopped them and commented how nice the backgrounds were, one saying they were the best he had ever seen for the show. Then the lights flickered: time to return to their seats.
The second half of the show was almost better than the first. There was something that felt different about it. Perhaps how there was less to laugh at or the heightened seriousness. Relm drank it in eagerly with her artist's eyes.
Then "Point of No Return" began. Her heartbeat started to accelerate, Her hand fell from the armrest to just above Keme's knee where it stayed, lightly and gradually gripping as the song intensified.

Keme had to admit, he really was having a good time, having figured he would be bored out of his mind. He jumped a bit when Relm grabbed his knee and he blushed lightly and he reached down to take her hand in his, looking back to the stage.

Okay... bad/good song. Made her feel all sorts of things she had been trying to hold down tonight. And set her imagination leaping off into fields that were...
No. Not now. Flashing Keme a smile as the song ended she jumped a bit as it went directly into the finding of Bernardo Piangi's body & subsequent "hunt" for the Phantom. She flipped her hand beneath Keme's so she could hold it properly, glad the darkness of the theatre coupled with the amazing show to watch hid her blush from view.
She cried... she actually cried at the ending. When curtain call came she was one of the first to her feet, squeezing Keme's hand before releasing it so that she could give her applause, soft tears still trickling from her eyes.

Keme enjoyed the rest of the show, squeezing Relm's hand gently. He even stood up when it was the curtain call and he clapped right along with her, a huge smile on his face.

It was almost surreal, the bows, the clapping, the encore. Up until the curtain actually fell. "Wow..." Relm murmured in awe. "And that was only an operetta from what I understand. Hard to imagine Celes singing an opera... even if it did cut short." She was smiling as they left their seats and followed the crowd out of the theatre and into the lobby, then made their way out the main doors. She was remembering the others regaling the tale of the opera house, saving the opera singer Maria from Setzer & conning the gambler into his airship...
It was a safe thought to fall back on again as the show closed. No point thinking about ... right. No point thinking about that now. "You know, I almost feel sorry for the Phantom. Raoul had Christine's heart before he even came into the picture. It was a doomed relationship from the start."

Keme smiled as he listened, always enjoying Relm's voice when she started going off on something she really enjoyed. He delayed on whistling for Morgy, not up to dealing with anyone that would say anything, or sneer or freak out, and then the nasty side of him would come out in her defense.

Relm seemed to notice his hesitation, but she did not care. Well, she did care that Keme appeared uneasy about something under the surface and if she knew what of that would concern her too. For she would likely also come to the bloody equine's defense. No, what she did not care about was that he was hesitating. She was in no real hurry herself. As long as she was with him and she knew where they were going. Yes... she had high hopes, but rushing things would more likely mess that up than not.
Sighing happily Relm wrapped both arms lightly around one of Keme's and very lightly rested her cheek against the smooth feel of his sleeve. "What a night... and it's still young..."

He smiled down at her and kissed the top of her head, "Yea, perfect for a walk under the moon.." he said softly. He looked about and seeing that not too many were around or paying attention, he brought his fingers to his mouth and whistled. A few moments later, the sound of hooves could be heard and Morgy came from around the corner, happily pulling the empty carraige behind her.

Relm closed her eyes, smiling under Keme's touch. Everything he did was so perfect... why was she thinking of hurrying him? His whistle broke the silence of her thoughts and Relm opened her eyes to smile at Morgy's approach. There could not be a better equine to have draw the carriage back and forth for this show. Momentarily Relm wondered how any of the Morgana's would be had the lovely souled female been treated as the song had said the phantom was 0his first piece of clothing a mask. She smiled at Morgy, certain she should not wave as she wanted to considering where they were. That was simply too casual.
Smiling thanks at Morgy she waited until the carriage stopped so Keme could help her in.

He helped Relm in and then went to his side and grabbed the reins, Morgy soon trotting along. He smiled happily as they were pulled, his tail gently wrapping around her waist.

She felt like a princess in a faerie story as they got into the carriage. Such a perfect night. Relm started a bit at the feel of the fur of his tail against the open places of her dress above & leaving room for her own tail. Light green eyes flashed at Keme with a smile inside. A 'mine' gesture, perhaps? feeling tons of warm fuzzies she wrapped her tail around Keme in turn, lightly hugging with it as best she could before leaning to rest her cheek on his shoulder. "Where will you have Morgy drop us off so we can walk? Near the shop?"
