"Deane..." Ray was rather surprised at what Deane spoke of, overwhelmed at the great emotions he had unveiled with his tears (of course, Ray couldn't see them). It was as if he already accepted all this, that he had been planning it all along. Ray believed that he was like him, someone who just got tied around the strange situation and ended up in a stolen mobile suit as a rebel. "I... Aren't you already satisfied with our normal lives? Don't you wish that just like I do? Why do you wish to join ANY side so much?" He asked desperately, all the more confused. Deane, the only person he actually knew of and held his last drops of trust in his suddenly changed world, didn't seem so familiar anymore. Ray could clearly remember the days when he saw the guy in the screen and face to face, smiling cheerfully in their peaceful "world", who appeared to have accepted UED's rule and enjoyed playing Non Reale so much. He had changed, into someone Ray wasn't familiar of, into someone who was part of the war.

Two other ships had come up now: The Strike, the Shift, and a Suit he had never seen. Robert pulled up to think. His suit wasn't at full capacity right now. It was obvious the other two were protecting the Shift, but the newcomer seemed to be rather skilled with his Suit. Robert wasn't a coward, but three of his weapons were down and he didn't want to risk too much. He turned to the Strike. He flared his Wings and pointed his Saber at it. He spoke into the mike. "Renegade pilot of the Gundam Strike. You and your accomplices will surrender now and return to the base. Failure to comply will result in your immediate destruction."

"Ray think for a second. The UED is the odd one out they fight to fufill their never ending selfish desires. I fight for the reason to chose how I want to live my life and protect the ones I love. Ray I cant and I wont make you come with me and maybe if you take a couple shots at us and tell them that you jumped in a gundam to protect the colony they might take you back. But I can never go back no not until this place is free of control free to choose." Deane stopped crying. "And right now.. I choose... TO BLAST THIS GUY BACK TO THE COLONY!!! GUNS!" Deane shouted the last words arming himself for battle. "You dog of the military prepare to earn you keep." Deane said taking a defensive stance.

Robert sighed and turned on his recorder. He didn't want to have to go through military red-tap. "Subject refuses to comply. Will attempt to disable and subdue as per my commands, but my status gives me the right to kill if I deem it necessary." He flicked off the recorder. "Off the record, kid, I sure wish you'd reconsider." He smiled slightly. "You have no idea who you are messing with." He flicked a switch and all twenty-five Bits streamed out of his legs and flew around him. The five shield Bits stopped in front of him, and the other twenty laser Bits came to a stop at different places around him.
"One more time... give up while you can."

"But..." Ray didn't care about the war. He had nothing to do with the war. His family wiould pay the taxes and they'd be allowed to live peaceful and free lives. "Wasn't that what we all want?" He muttered softly to himself. He looked back over his colony, the only place he called home. He'd love to meet back with his friends, his family, to get back on track to the normal life he had that just unexpectedly spun out of control. The Shift merely stood there, motionless, watching as Deane's GUNDAM started its offensive on the 'enemy' pilot. But who is my enemy? He knew that whichever path he'd chosen, his life wouldn't probably be the same.

The Bit shield took the brunt of the attack, and Robert directed his Bits to attack. He still wanted to try and take it in without destroying it.

(( rolleyes OK LOL. Here's the deal. Robert's recieved 31 DP while Deane recieved 59 damage. LOL. I know. The dice thing is all new. But you'll get used to it.))
