"You... want to face off against the evil hissy?" Igni blinked at Nunzio. "That's very brave, but..." He sighed. "Alright, I'll warn you about all the stuff you need to know about as we get closer.
Igniculus's face fell upon hearing Charna's voice. He looked positively crestfallen as he spotted the female Nightmare, his ears sinking, their tips resting on his shoulders.
"Oh great..." He sighed. "Another hissy? How many of you guys are there, anyway? You're going to fight the evil hissy too? It's probably going to try siding with you, just so you know...."

Charna growled, "My son is passed out in the barn, I will not side with him! I am not giving up my family for this creature! Now let us go so we can get his 'sights' away from this place." she said, ready to leave.

"I admire your courage," Igniculus replied to Charna. "I didn't know the other hissy passed out, though. That's a shame." He frowned, shaking his head. "As for the evil guy, indeed, let's go, but... I don't know where he is now. You would be wandering blindly until he showed himself." He bit his lip for a moment. "Well, er... you would be wandering blindly anyway, but that's not what I meant..."
He wandered away from the gathering, turning back the way he had come. "I'll lead the way. That way if he ambushes us from the front, I'm at least the first one to go down. It's me he wants anyway."

Before they could go, Morty dashed over to Igni and kissed his cheek. Blushing bright and muttering a 'thank you' to him, she dashed to the barn and disappeared inside to check up on Adjo. All the adults could only chuckle, Morgana following after her daughter, the rest heading into the house.
Charna and Adjo chuckled as well and then gestured for the male to lead the way.

Igni was about to move on ahead out of the area, but he froze on the spot as Morty kissed his cheek. He remained frozen there for at least a few heartbeats, stunned by the gesture. Slowly, he raised a paw to the kissed area, blinking.
He had made many passes at the females before, but none had ever actually reacted back like that. It made him confused to say the least. The firesprite Angelic grinned shyly and lowered his head, chuckling.
"Hoo boy.."
He blinked as Charno and Adjo returned, and he scratched the side of his head. "You hissies are really going to fight the guy? I'm not sure if I understand the logic there."
He turned on the path, and began to lead the way, heading back for the forest.

"If we can, we can try to lead him away and then give him something else to chase for a while without having to fight." Charana said as they all went along, her tongue going wild as she took in the different scents.

"You mean like playing chase and fetch? Like a dog?" Igniculus sighed and shook his head, ears lowering. "I dunno if he'll go for that, but it would be funny to see if you trick him into it anyway."
The firesprite Angelic flared out his wings and began to half-fly, half leap ahead. His sensitive ears could pick up the distant roaring of the angry Nightmare now, and that made him worried.
"I don't know what's going to happen, so stay alert!"

Charna could only hope they could get this other Nitemare to go chasing after something else entirely so they could come up with a new plan to get this one to leave them alone. She too heard the distant roar and it made hackles rise.

As Igni approached the edges of the forest, he began to slow down, soon coming to a halt entirely. His tails were raised, and the grass around his feet began to smoulder as the firesprite's body heated up with his heighted emotion. He could turn his form into fire at will, but sometimes he did it instinctually when there was danger.
"Okay, what's the plan now?" He said to Charna, worry etching at his tone. "What are you going to give him to chase? Me?"
Meanwhile, in the heart of the forest, Torvamund made a low snarl, being able to smell foreign scents at the edges of his territory. He made another loud threatening rumble, and began to prowl towards the intruders.
"Who dares to challenge me now?"

"No, me.....he can't follow either of you if you fly because he can't hear move about in the air unless you start flapping your unbuttoned lips! I'll try to get him as far away from here as possible. Nunzio, you do what you can for our territory, see if there is a way to keep him out, get Ginny if you have to." she said, her voice not allowing any arguments.

Igniculus slowly nodded his head as if to say he understood, despite the fact Charna wouldnt be able to see the gesture. He flared out his wings, taking off into the air, leaving two smouldering patches on the grass where his hind paws were.
"Good luck..." He said quietly. "I'll hang out overhead if you need it..." The Angelic perched high in a nearby tree, purple eyes attentively watching over the scene, some strange overwhelming desire stirring up within him to watch over this Nightmare and guard her if necessary.
Torvamund reached the edge of his territory, walking out into the open, emitting a loud annoyed snort from his nostrils. His cobalt blue tongue lapped at the air and he raised his head, seeming curious.
"Odd..." He muttered, more to himself than anything. "Who is out there? State your position and name at once." Behind him, his stripey green tails flicked idly. He seemed calm. For now.

Charna stood her ground and listened as Nunzio flew off back home and she turned her head when she heard him. Her tongue flicked as she took in his deep earthy scent and she wished for the scent of hot sand, the scent of her mate, "My name is Charna and I have no position. May I ask who you are?" she called back.

Torvamund moved further out into the open, pacing casually towards the female. He shook himself off for a moment, scattering leaves and sticks off his matted and unkept wild coat of fur.
"I am lord of the forest," He began, his voice a low calm purr. "Lord and master of Sceaduwe, and ruler over the earthen element." He puffed out his light coloured furred chest, trying to look proud and important.
"Why have you come here?" He said finally.

"I had heard of a Nitemare around this area that was lord of this area and I am in search of my mate at the same time. I like to check up on him and my daughter when I have the time." she said

Torvamund made a low rumbling sound, backing up slightly. He scraped his hind legs back, kicking dirt into the edge of the forest behind him.
"Ah, I see. Then, proceed." He said, irritated. "But find another path to follow. Do not move through here, lest you trample the undergrowth in my forest territory. I hate anything that does not respect the bounds of nature. Squirrels, rabbits, anything."
