Now if I could continue my conversation with Helena over here without any more interruptions from you pipsquek, otherwise I'll have to bring my body count to 17 for today."
The look on Cairnes' was face pure hatred and anger. How dare this runt speak to me like that? Sure he had killed off the Bandits leader, but so could a trained monkey. He would see once they actually had something to fight, that he was well suited for the job at hand. The one that the others were incompitent to complete.
He turned back to Helena, the red and anger drained from his face and he regained his previous expression. Ember had returned to him after resting from the fight and was now perched atop his shoulder.
"So what took ya?"

Vaek approached approached Quint and Cairne. "Guys knock it off. We need to work together, or this will be a very, very, long journey. And Cairne, you can't be so arrogant. You have no idea what we're up against. Whoever ordered this attack is extremely powerful, and we can't let our guard down." Vaek sighed, looking at his arm.
"If my arm wasn't broken, I could be more useful."
"Don't say that. You are a leader to these guys, and they need you."
"But what if I can't fight with this arm anymore?"
"You will. We'll heal it."

Vaek was getting frustrated now. "Quint cut it out. We have to fight the enemy, not each other, and I won't allow the two of you to keep bickering until you kill yourselves." Vaek felt a sharp pain in his arm, so he clutched it really hard. "The villagers are fine. We need to get out of here. We aren't going to let what happened to Ivan happen to Mia."

Vaek nodded. "Finally, I sound like a leader."
"I always knew you were one."
"Cmon, its a long walk to Biblin Cave, so lets get moving." He led the group out of Vault, knowing the villagers would be safe, and headed down the path towards Biblin Cave. Geode rested on his shoulder, staring out into the open. After a few moments though, he got a little restless.
"What's wrong?"
"We're being followed."
"Are you sure? By whom?"
"I can't tell. We better be cautious."
"You think it's more bandits."
"No, but lets not assume anything at the moment."

Vaek nodded. "I don't sense an enemy though. It's a presence I haven't felt before. We shouldn't ponder on it though. Let's just keep moving." Vaek walked towards Cairne. "Cairne, you seem a little restless also. You ok?"

"Dear..." Lord muttered, unable to come to grips with the events that had occurred. How could this be true? Regardless, the others couldn't know...
"Now, it's time to move on. Grab some things and get moving. If anyone's really following us, then moving on sounds pretty clever to me." Lord hastily spoke as he ran down from the house, carrying some herbs and nuts.
"Spread these out, and hurry up. Do as Cairne said, and lets go. NOW!" Lord kept on shouting, as he thrust the assorted foods into his teams chests. This wasn't good, as normal. The last he had caught of the conversation, was mystery follower. What were they on about? He wanted answers. And now, even more so.

"Hmm, oh well. Its probably nothing, though a good guard wouldn't be a bad idea. But then letting him know that we are being followed will only make him a bit more desperate. If we pretend he isn't there and stop running around like a madman...Lord... then he's more likely to be more relaxed and possibly make mistakes. Either way we should keep moving."
He continued to fidget with something in his pocket. He was nervous, Cairne was never nervous anyone who ever paid attention to him could tell. Good thing he hated them all and never even talked to them outside of training. Except for one.
'Why is he following us? If I get a chance I'll make sure to ask.'

Vaek could tell Cairne was nervous, since he rarely ever was. "Man, I wish I could calm Cairne down." Vaek noticed Lord catch up to them. He walked towards him. "Good, you made it. We're heading towards Biblin Cave, but don't let your guard down. Someone's following us, and I don't think we should fight him, or her. Not now at least." Vaek continued to lead the others down the path, until they came to a bridge. Standing on the bridge was a pack of wolves. "Oh great."
