Kai thought about jumping off as soon as he got up, but she didn't want to. She knew it was selfish, but she loved sitting on, and all the while, she was nibbling on his ear, occasionally stopping to go and lick his cheek. She thought it was fun, but she was sure Tibuka thought otherwise.
"Would you like me to get off?", she asked, trying to make sure she wasn't going to break his back or anything.

"Not just yet. " He smirked, then began to run, surprising, perhaps, with the female on him, but Tibuka was a kind-of strong male. When he reached the edge of the water, however, he stopped suddenly, then dodged to the side, knocking Kai off him, and hopefully into the water.
"There! " He teased, sitting down proudly, chest puffed up slightly.

Without realizing what had just happened, Kai found herself being flung off the back of the male hyena, and right into the water below. Taking in a little bit of water through her mouth, the female squirmed and sort of flopped about, very much surprised, coughing some. Her silver eyes were wild-looking, but she couldn't see with her mane slapped over her face from being wet.
"Tibuka! You.. You.. Meanie!!", she yelled, turning around in circles in the water, trying to flip her mane backwards so she could see and tackle the culprit that had done this oh-so wrong doing.

"Meanie?! " He snorted, folding his ears back and trotitng into the water, making loud sploshing noises. "Tis called playing. " He grinned, soon reaching the deeper part and starting to paddle around Kailasa, his head still mostly dry, as he hadn't dunked in yet.
"Besides, we're covered in dirt. " He smiled, splashing at Kailasa a bit, before ducking underwater and shaking his mane.

Just as Kai had gotten her mane to flip back, she got splashed with water yet again, her mane being a meanie too and slapping her in the face again, making her growl slightly. Shaking her head violently, she was able to make it flop out of her eyes, and she looked around for Tibuka.
"So? That doesn't mean you throw me in!", she cried once she found him, after going in yet another circle. "Like I said.. Meanie! I don't care if I'm dirty. You're still mean!"
That's when she growled and jumped at him, grabbing a hold of his ear and chewing on it, her feet kicking at him some in the water. All the while, she had a very large and happy smile on her face.

"You jsut dunno how to have fun. " Tibuka snorted, and pulled away, kicking the water easily with his paws and swimming away from the female, then rolling to float on his belly for a moment, kicking, but sinking, as unlike humans, hyena's couldn't stretch out and float.
"But admittedly, I am a meanie! Well, a mean hyena. You're just lucky. " He teased, but really, he was a rather bitter creature.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?"
She eagerly followed him, watching his failed attempt at floating on the water's surface. It wasn't nice to, but she just had to laugh, as his body sunk right, making him look like a rock.
"And what do you mean that I'm just lucky? Hmmm?" She giggled some, wiggling her flanks as best as she could as she jumped at his tail, pawing at it and making it swish back and forth in the water.

"B'cuz. " He snorted, spinning around a bit to free his tail, and nipping at hear ear once, but not really intent on it. "Am not usually this nice! But 'ey, its hard to act all the pessmistic grumpy guy wit ya. " He grinned.
Tibuka hadn't always been the rough thing he was today, so as awkwardas it felt to be -nice- again, it wasn't hard. Kailasa kind of reeled it out of him, albeit unintentionally.

She growled in a playful manner when he nipped at her ear, splashing some water on him to hopefully get him off. Then, she giggled some more and did her best to jump at him once more, smiling bright and big.
"With me? Why do you only act all nice around me? I'm just being myself, which I guess is normally happy and everything." Kailasa scrambled up onto part of Tibuka's back, her bottom half still in the water. "Still.. I like you nice. It makes you... Different.. And very..... Attractive.."
And now it partially came out. A pink wall of blush smacked her in the face, her silver eyes avoiding his teal gaze. Why had she said that? She wasn't sure... But.. It was the truth, and she knew that telling the truth was the right thing to do.

"Because 'vryone 'round ere is all grumpy. " He grinnedand moved around, to make it harder for her to remain on his back. However, when she called him attractive, he didn't catch what it meant, perhaps fortunately. To him, she was still playing.
"Well, I do have rugged good looks. " He teased, then ducked underwater, hoping it'd get her off his back.

"Hehe... Yea.. Rugged good looks. Definitely."
Tibuka dipped under the water and Kai stuck with him, somehow. She clung onto him, her paws wrapping around his other side, making sure to stay with him, no matter what he did.
'He didn't catch it... Good.. I think..'

Tibuka grinned, and started to thrash his body around a bit-- which wasn't so easy surrounded in water. However, he wasn't doing so bad! But finally, he snorted. He wouldn't get Kai off while in the water, and getting out with her on top would be hard too.
"Awwright, ya win. " He said, raising his head.

Hanging on, the gray and white hyena was determined to win. She wouldn't let Tibuka get the best of her, not in this situation anyhow. After all, he had shown how strong he was with that battle with the lion. So, now it was her turn.
And then her victory came.
"I win? I win?! Yippee!!" She bounced herself off of him and made a huge splash in the water. "I beat you! Yay!!"

He blinked in amusement, perking his ears. Kai was so.. childish. But she wasn't that bad, she wasn't the girly girly childish. Now that he hated; whiney, pleading. But nah, Kai was a-ok.
But he glanced up. It was getting dark. "Well, " He said loudly, getting out of the water and shaking himself dry, although.. it kind of hurt. "I'm gonna go. I best rest. " He shrugged. He should, and Kai would only exhaust him further right now. He glanced at the female, waiting to see if she'd say something.

Kai dragged herself out as well, shaking herself dry, just as Tibuka did. At first, she felt perfectly fine, and then those holes in her back began to hurt, making her wince with pain. Still, she knew it would pass, so just dealt with it. Looking up as well, the gray clouds were becoming very dark now. Of course, they were always dark, but right now, it seemed that night was settling in.
"Alright. I guess I'll see you.. Around then, eh?" A small smile was on her face. Her silver eyes looked at his teal ones. She seemed happy, but she wasn't. Her eyes reflected her sadness of having to leave, but revealing it would make her seem so weak. Hiding it was the best option.
