"No thanks, I'm perfectly happy here," FrostBite watched a small bird land on a branch above her. It started to peck at the trunk, "I found a wood pecker!" She said in a whisper shout so not to scare it away. "Think theres anything in this tree for it to eat?"

Adora glanced down for a millisecond and hopped to the nearest branch, perching on it like a bird.
"I think they eat bugs, like ants and termites. Or maybe they eat the tree itself?"
She watched the woodpecker hammer away at the tree bark, deciding that a small bird couldn't possibly eat the rough bark with such a tiny beak.
"Probably just bugs..."

"Yeah..." FrostBite watched it for a minute longer. "I'm bored!" She yawned, they really had run out of things to do. I hope this dosnt suddenly become awkward... we could converse but is there anything we can really talk about? Afterall this is the first time I've met her... FrostBite bit her lip, she really wished that she had gotten to know all her children.

Adora, not paying attention to whatever her mom was saying, was clawing at the tree bark. She was hoping to strip it away to see what was there for the woodpecker to eat.
"See? Bugs!" She cracked off a small piece of bark, revealing squirming termites and grubs underneath. Adora grabbed some of them and dropped them on Frostbite, who was on a lower branch.

FrostBite skittered farther out onto the branch avoiding the raining bugs. "I'd rather not have bugs rain on me thank you very much!" Suddenly she heard a crack, apparently she had wandered to far and the branch wasnt strong enough to hold her. Rather quickly it broke and FrostBite dropped into the water. She didnt swim to the surface though and gasp for breath, she swam under water for a while to see if Adora would actually think she drowned or something.

"Eh?! Mom?!"
Adora dropped the bark and bugs and climbed down the tree as fast as she could. Even though she was a good swimmer, she was worried that she might have bonked her head on something and was knocked unconcious.
Now on solid ground, Adora jumped into the water without thinking, desperate to save Frostbite.

FrostBite saw Adora and waved. She quickly swam to the surface, somehow I feel that wasnt the best of jokes... "I was only kidding!" Hope she dosnt take it really seriously and start to yell about how that was a terrible thing to do and stuff... I just met her so I have no idea what her reaction will be... FrostBite pouted, why was I cursed with this silly, playful nature!?

"You're kidding?" Adora burbled underwater and swam up to the surface of the pond. She coughed and spat water out.
"Whew! I was afraid that you were hurt and stuff... Jeez, now I sound like a mom scolding you!"
She laughed at how the whole situation was sounding ridiculous.

FrostBite laughed as well, thank goodness... This has to be proof we're mother and daughter! She swam back out of the water and looked at the sky. "The sun is starting to set... we should probably go soon." Nyah, this is going to be awkward as well I'm guessing...

Adora stared up at the sky and was surprised to find it darkening. She was having too much fun to notice time go by.
"Oh? That was fast. Will I see you again though?" She bit her tongue, thinking that Frostbite might forget about her as soon as they parted ways.

"Course!" She gently patted her head, "if we were able to meet this time than there always has to be a next time! And if not I'll have to hunt you down!" She winked before starting to walk in a random direction, "oh," she turned her head around, "and if you have kids you HAVE to introduce me to them!" She winked again before continueing.

Adora was forced to turn her gaze away from Frostbite. She couldn't know, did she?
"You won't have to hunt me down. I'm promising that." She said with a grin while walking away.
