lucian, then walked away. happy with what just happend, he had everything happen that he needed too, even more stuff then he expected.
he went to his single secret cell behind some rocks.

the cpt woke up, a half of an hour later. still looking at the picture.
he went over to the control room, where the gaurds were watching the inmates activity. it was getting late, when most imates went to sleep, so he relived most of them, he was left in the room with one other gaurd.

Riane sat on a cot, just thinking about what would happen tomorrow. I wonder if I'll be able to find out if any of the guards bet on my dying? I can't wait to prove them wrong! Riane thought. They'll have a hard time killing me. She smiled for one of the first times of all of her time in prison.

cpt hailfire was on the night watch. he was watching the prizoners. he was playing chess with himself. he conteplating the next day. what to do. when to do it. hed broken most all of the prizoners. exept the ne ones adn lucian. he was damm good at his job. and the cpt was proud of it.

(((u do know that the ground is about 250 feet below him? and the cells line the walls? and theres a board walk all ther way up? right?)
he looked throught the sevral bard doors at one of the new prizoners. most dont walk alll the way up the bord walk up here. there to scared.
she just asked him if she could play. he didnt have a problem with it. theres nothing she could do to harm him. he was bigger, stronger. he had a gun, she had her fists. he also had anothre gaurd.
"sure he repled. he open up one gate, and when she was past it, it closed, then another opend, so on and so forth, untill she was all the way at the last door. the gaurd looked at the cpt. the cpt noded. she was let in. he cleared the board. she was directed by the other gaurd to sit. the cpt started to talk.
"your ether prutty brave, or prutty stupid. " the cpt said.
"are u good at chess?" he added.

Riane stood up from the cot. She didn't want to sleep or rest or anything. If the other inmates came anywhere near her, she would kick their balls in so she had little to fear. She walked around the boardwalk, bored as hell. She looked around her, nothing was stirring. She looked up through the glass and saw that the Captain was playing chess with Aubry. She gazed up through the glass like she had before. She sat down, still gazing up through the glass.
