Something more stunning than Chitsa? Roka blinked confusedly, but let it go, as he was going to retire from the scenery soon. He paused as she continued, eyes darting back to her wings as soon as she had mentioned them. "I have wings from both of my parents," he said slowly, a bit unsure of himself -- she has wings from her mother? What of the father, then? He thought both of her parents were butterfly-winged soquili, just like her--but that was just an assumption. "As they are... both winged..." he nodded tentatively, "...and I believe I have the coloration of my father's wings. My mother's is pure white and plain, while father's is the same thing but with a few added odd colorations at the end." He spread his wings wide apart, backing off a little from Chitsa so they wouldn't get in her way, and craned his neck over to his wings so he himself could get a closer look at his own wings. He never really took the time to look at himself or his wings, but it just seemed appropriate right then. And as soon as the wings spread apart, he folded them in again along his back.
"Stream to east, go up north," he repeated, nodding at her words. He would make sure that their next meeting will be soon -- he already missed Chitsa, and she was still in front of him. A long moment passed by as he stood still, taking in the comfort of the mare's company--and then as if by instinct, he was swept away by the winds, galloping into the distance towards his destination. A final good-bye message took on the form of Roka's head turning back for a few silent seconds, a melancholy look on his eyes--but Chitsa's form was slowly diminishing, too far away to catch the expression, and Roka himself was soon out of sight.

"I see... I guess inheritance is an odd thing, especially with wings." Chitsa shrugged softly with a soft grin as her expression. Ooh. His wings were every so pretty, so different then Chitsa's. She couldn't help but be a tad bit envious, even though she had wings of her own.
Chitsa nodded softly as he repeated the directions. Hopefully they would meet again, she really genuinely hoped so. Her heart was already aching, but she had no idea why, because he was right there. As he disappeared into the sky, Chitsa's usually cheerful expression changed to a frown, and she too disappeared into the forest. She needed time to think about what had happened. wahmbulance
