*Mystina cracks up and giggles* Oh Goodness no.... I hope I don't have 22 months to go! We usually have our children within 9 months, as humans do too... Inatead of elephants!
I'd hate to be pregnant for THAT long!

Though... 9 months still sounds like an awful long time.

It feels....well.... wonderful can't quite describe it.... Knowing my body has a new life inside of it that's just waiting to be born is.... amazing... It's just a really good feeling....

Eh, I know that. But something like that, it's so, so... NOT ME. Or at least it wasn't me back when I was... well, awesome. I hate it. It seems very, very wrong.
Then again... lots of things weren't so me back when I was awesome. Lots of things seemed very, very wrong. Things can change a lot over time, can't they?

And things do change over time.... even so, even if it's not you, you may still feel the pull to do it... *smiles* Being a woman means that you're likely to feel the pull to reproduce.... *giggles* that's just nature...

And, if I can, I will keep her away from here.... I already know there's some form of impending danger... and my child won't be involved in that, not if I have anything to say about it.

*cross fades in looking beleagered and tired.... he smiles as he glances about the place and staggers over to the bar plopping down onto one of the stools and reaching for the bottle of rum that was waiting for him in just arms reach.. he uncaps it... smells it then takes a drink...* ahhh tha'was what was needed...

*cross takes another swallow of the rum... not the best thing for a parched throat but the warm sensation felt good enough.... He takes a glance around the bar then spins in his seat.. leaning back against the polished wood and putting his boot up on his kne... it was quiet.... and that.. to him... was a mercy...*
