"Do you think you could hold it? " Rinoa asked him, he seemed plenty strong, so if he said he didn't think he could, it would give RInoa an idea of just how powerful this mysterious silver-haired one really was. Of course, she didn't know Cloud well enough to answer his question, and he probably knew that too. She was an off-worlder like himself! "...I'll be your clueless tour guide." She said with a playful smile. "Angelo has the nose to get us back here, if we do get lost... Oh, and she's great to keep muggers away! It'll be fun! " Anything was more fun at this point then staying here, where the tension still kind of hung in the air. "Most importantly, we need to find out what we need to buy anything. I have a decent amount of GIL, though I doubt my worlds money is going to help us here.." "GIL? .....How strange, and you are from another world? " Aerith was very confused. "That is what we use here, too!" It seemed their worlds weren't quite so different after all! "REALLY?! That's great news..." That would save a lot of trouble, and if this world was anything like hers, that would mean she could go around outside the city, killing monsters to get more GIL. "Claude, what do you say we find a nice place to get some food? My treat, you know, for being so nice to me!" He did seem hungry, so...it seemed like the nice thing to do.

Claude von Riegan"Ignorance breeds discrimination. Whether you look inside the bottle or outside of it... If you really look, all you'll find are people you can get along with, if you only try. That's why I wanna bust open that lid, which is keeping us locked inside. Or destroy the bottle entirely." "Hold it? Sure. Use it in battle? Probably not too well. I'd have to hold it with two hands to try to fight with it due to the handle being away from the center of weight. Would be awkward to say the least... not something I'd recommend trying to fight with. Same goes for that giant sword Cloud uses though. That thing'll kill your shoulder over time." Claude seemed to be some kind of expert in weaponry theorycrafting, though it may have just been that he was familiar with how weapons operated in capable hands. "Someone really strong like Hilda might be able to make stuff like that work, though. Not that she'd want to. "Ugh, Claude! That sounds like too much work! You do it!"" He said the last bit in a very unflattering, high-pitched imitation female voice as he spoke for whoever this Hilda was. Despite how insulting it seemed, he seemed to have quite a bit of fondness when he spoke about her. Not that she was AS lazy as he made her out to be--not since the war began, but still, she was still Hilda. And it wasn't like Claude would just pretend her lazy academy days didn't exist. "Well, we'll have to thank Angelo with treats of some kind for being our guide in that case." It might help to be accompanied by someone who knew the city, but he certainly wasn't going to complain. Though he didn't make any remark about the Gil coincidence, he did make a mental note of it. It was possible their worlds shared distinct similarities, and if that was the case... well, he wasn't sure, but it would be noteworthy. "If "being nice" gets me free food, I should do it more often." Claude said with his typical, easygoing smile. It wasn't entirely a real smile, but that didn't mean he was unhappy about the situation. This was just how Claude was. "Away we go, then... Why don't you tell me more about your boyfriend while we walk? Name was Squeak or something? The S and Q were there, at least." He began to lead the way towards the exit, so the two could begin to explore the city, and they could chat about whatever. It would be helpful to gather intel about this world, but since he and Rinoa were equally ignorant on that front, idle conversation would be fine. And perhaps he could get a few valuable secrets out of her, too. ...As strange as that may have sounded. (( OOC: ))

"It sure looks like it. Maybe that's why he's such a grumpy guy? " She said that part quietly, so that only he could hear her little bad attempt at a joke. "This Hilda...must be scary strong if you think she can handle something like that. " She didn't think it were possible for any woman to carry giant swords, really! "I'm sure that will make her Angelo happy! ...though, I hope they have pet stores here. " That was a scary thought, what DID they have for pet food in this world? ....If they had the same GIL, sure enough they had to carry the same foods! As they started on there way for the door, Rinoa glanced back at him, only to fall into a small fit of laughter.. "Squeak?? " That might come back to haunt Squall one day, because that would forever stick in her mind! "Squall.." She said finally, still giggling. "Well, since you seem to know your weapons..I guess i'll start off with that. Have you ever heard of a Gunblade? That's what Squall uses. It's a giant blade, but with the specialty of bullets. It can really do some damage.."

The mansion was once again, a uncomfortably quiet place! Azura left, claiming to have something important to do, and with Cloud upstairs in his room, in a mood, well, she knew to give him his space, despite how hard it really was to keep herself from going up there and trying to cheer him up. She didn't do a very good job at it before, having been the one who seemed to upset him the most. So maybe it was a good idea to let him have that time alone. ...Still, it was depressing.. "...Should I say I'm sorry? Maybe he will feel better!" She turned to Zack. "I feel like I caused him more painful memories.." It was hard to just let him deal on his own like this. It wasn't in Aerith's nature to ignore someone when they were down. She always brought smiles and happiness, not sadness. "Just leave him alone, he's a big boy.. Anyway.." She grabbed Aerith's hand. "I'm stealing your treasure for a little bit." Yuffie said with a little grin. "Just like old times..." Only Aerith wasn't materia or 'treasure'! Pulling Aerith along with her, she would take her through to the back porch, where she would gesture for her to sit down, and join her there. "Um, so.....we haven't really gotten a chance to spend any time together since...everything. I just wanted to say...I'm really happy you're back..and Zack too. I still kind of can't believe it! " She held out her hand, her palm downward, though obviously holding something in it. "Hold out your hand.." She said with a small smile, and as the puzzled Aerith did as she asked, the pale green materia was dropped into her hand. Aerith would regonize it instantly as her beloved materia from her mother, Holy. "...I uh...well, I found it sometime after everything was over...and all this time I had it in safe keeping, with a few of your things.." She glanced down at her feet, boy, did she feel so silly. "..I may of made a small dedication to you at home..." Her face tinted a faint red, hoping Aerith didn't think she was strange. As if! "I brought it all here, you'll find the rest in your room. I figured you would need it..Can't go having you completely defenseless, right? " "Yuffie! " If Yuffie really thought she would ever look at her in such a strange way, she didn't know Aerith very well! Aerith's arms wrapped around her younger friends shoulders, hugging her with a soft giggle as she let her go. "Oh, Yuffie..You are so very sweet! Thank you so much...I..almost can't believe you found my materia.." It was Yuffie, the master of finding materia, but this was hardly the reason she searched for it. "Honestly, I was worried about finding a new staff. I have no Gil on me. " She smiled at her. "The timing was perfect! " "...Really? " She beamed a little. "I'm glad to have been able to help you out...hey...you said your empty on GIL? So ...why don't we go roam the city and dispose of some monsters together? You can get some good GIL that way. Zack can come along too..You can just fill him in on the plan when you go get your things.." "They still roam the city? " She was a little surprised to hear that, there were so many familys and children, the thought of it really bothered her. "..If it means we will be protecting the people of the city, I will do what I can! I can heal you and Zack and make it go much faster.." With Zack and Yuffie plowing through monsters, and constant heals, they could take down a lot of enemies that way. "..Mm! I will go tell him.." She got up to stand.. "Wait! " She stood next. "...T-There was another reason I asked you to come with me. Everyone will listen to you, more so then me...So, maybe if it's you telling them, they won't ignore your feelings.." She paused a moment.."..Can you tell the others...If they should run into the Mastermind..can you tell them not to harm him? ....or even engage in fighting him.. Just...leave him alone..." Her eyes were pleading, something Aerith never seen her young friend do. She was almost always up to no good, but to see her so sincere and worried for someone....it was clear to her that something was important about this mastermind person.. "...Alright. If it means that much to you, Yuffie. Of course I will! " Her agreeing to her request brought back that smile to Yuffie's features, as the ninja gave Aerith a hug this time! "I'll do my best! " She said with a smile. "You know, we can do this a little later. There is something I've been wanting to do..maybe after, we can do your plan. Will that be okay? " It was pretty important, she even felt bad not making that a priority the first thing she did. Probably because she was also afraid..."Okay! Off I go...." Turning away from Yuffie, she proceeded down the steps to leave the mansion area, where she would start on her way to her home.

___ ___ _________ ___ ___ "We face the king of demons, the monster that once ruled all Magvel. He's more powerful than any one of us here. But we have something that beast will never have. We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." "Not bad!" Holding the shaft of his spear with both hands, Ephraim blocked the overhead swing of the large blade that came at him. "Overreliance on your power alone won't help if your foe is skilled enough. If you don't mix up your attack pattern, you'll become predictable.""I didn't come here for a lecture!" Cloud shoved the king backward using the collision of their weapons, stepping forward and delivering a swift diagonal slash.Ephraim lowered his body a bit as he dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the slash. He responded with a sudden thrust of his spear, which Cloud managed to block using his massive blade, deflecting the spear back. "Then why did you come, if not to improve? If this is a mere stress relief, you'll regret taking me lightly!""I don't need your help to improve. Just shut up and fight!""If that's how you want it, then so be it!"
After quite a long sparring session between the two, they would finally exit the training room, looking a bit worse for wear with the cut and bruises they inflicted on each other. "Impressive," Ephraim remarked as he stood out of the doorway to allow Cloud to exit after him. "If not for the Mastermind's sabotage, it would have made for an enjoyable battle between the two of us, not holding back.""..." Sheesh, he had really hoped Ephraim wasn't holding back in there. He had been too, but... he felt a bit too pushed in that sparring session. He had confidence in his strength, but Ephraim was strong and skilled--he had clearly been trained in combat. Cloud had always improvised his own style, and it was something of a wake-up call to fight someone who was trained and experienced. Not that either of them had :won"--they just sparred for a while. Cloud went to the training room to try to vent his stress from the earlier discussion. He hadn't expected to meet Ephraim there, much less be brought to introspection from their battle. He still had a long way to go... but acknowledging that made him a better warrior already. Ephraim wasn't perfect at battle either--few people were. "...You're good." Cloud finally admitted. "Even if it was just sparring, it was hard to feel like I ever had the advantage in there.""...I still have a long way to go." Ephraim responded simply. It was true--no one was perfect at battle, and Ephraim knew there were battles he couldn't win, no matter how strong or skilled he may be. "I was trained in the spear by Duessel, a capable general and perhaps the strongest warrior in my world. Any mastery I have I owe to him, and he taught me battle strategies as well. Skill on its own is nothing without experience, though... a war's worth of battle against capable soldiers and generals. Every fight I had in that war, my foe wanted to kill me, and yet I'm still here. I'm certain I robbed no small amount of families of their fathers, sons, daughters--but I did what I had to. I'm not happy it happened, but if not for the war I wouldn't have nearly the experience I do now. It doesn't justify those dead, but it's what I can take from that." Along with the growth he went through as a person, but that wasn't something Cloud would be interested in hearing, he was sure."...Guess that makes sense." Going through an entire war... Cloud had had his own journey, and his own share of horrible hardships, but it was hard to imagine being in a campaign like that. "Guess that's my problem against you. I'm used to fighting monsters. They can be stronger than humans, but they don't think. It's simple--just cut them down. Fighting someone like you isn't." He had fought his share of infantrymen, and the occasional "general," but rarely did he actually get a chance to test himself against someone capable, strong, and skilled."It's entirely possible we may come across someone more powerful and skilled than I, if outlanders continue to come. It might be a good idea to take the opportunity now to train with people like myself, Zack, and Phoenix. Improving your skill against thinking opponents can only benefit you.""...Maybe." He was looked at as some kind of leader here by some people. It might be a bad thing if he was taken down quickly. He had confidence in his abilities, but sparring against Ephraim, and seeing what Cosmos had been capable of... it put things into perspective. "I'll think about it at least."Ephraim nodded. "Just do your best, and improve. That's all we can do." Perhaps one of the more wise things he had said in his time. Though he borrowed that wisdom from his lance instructor, Duessel. As someone incredibly experienced in both life and war, Duessel had a lot of wisdom to dispense."You planning to make that into a fortune cookie?" Ephraim raised his eyebrow. "...Force of habit." Cloud was always one for sarcasm, wasn't he. (( OOC: ))

Azura had only just returned back to the mansion, and by the look of her expression, besides being a little paler then usual, she was far from happy. She couldn't find anyone from their group that knew this world in the city, her only choice left was the mansion, where she would come across the two returning from their sparring session. She was doing her best not to lose her temper, but due to the dire circumstances, it was pretty hard not to show her anger a little. "..What is wrong with this world? ...Why are the beaches so ...terribly polluted? I walked for as long as I could, and I found nothing but horrible conditions. No life in the waters, but a lot of death! Why do the humans let this happen?! " She paused a moment, she knew it wasn't HIS fault, but in general, humans let it fall this way. "...Where...Where can I find a clean beach? Please tell me somewhere in this world, there are clean waters..." This was a real test of just how long she could safely be away from her precious ocean, hence why she looked so pale. If anyone actually knew what she was, they might understand her anger towards the mistreated oceans. Though to them, she might just sound like a activist.

Cloud Strife"All right everyone, let's mosey." Cloud's conversation with the warrior king would be cut short by the interruption of the blue-haired princess. "What?" That was a strange question to him... but the people of this world were rather used to things how they had been for so long."Azura? You look pale. Are you unwell?" She would catch the concerned gaze of the king as he addressed her. Despite knowing she had been called a mermaid, he didn't know what that actually was, so he didn't know what her issue was exactly. "You should lie down and get some rest." Sadly, that wouldn't help her very much right now, though he wasn't aware of that."...Shinra is the reason for the pollution of the ocean, among other things. If you think it's bad here, you should stay away from Junon." That was the absolute worst place for ocean pollution, to say the least. "Why is this so important to you?" Keeping her mermaid secret was probably becoming increasingly difficult. "Most of the ocean pollution I guess is on this continent. It's not as bad elsewhere. Costa del Sol has clean water, at least.""Costa del Sol? I only got to go there once. It's a nice, resort-style beach with really nice water. I wasn't able to really enjoy my time there, or the views..." ...Like Cissnei in a bikini. That was by far the best view on the beach."...Well, why don't we go there now?" Claude suggested, having recently returned from his expedition around Midgar. He didn't really understand why, but the blue-haired one seemed like she needed to go. "It's summer after all. Not much excuse not to enjoy ourselves a little before the battles to come." He glanced at Azura. "Don't you agree? You must really enjoy the beach." There was a lifeline for her to keep her little secret. Thanks, Claude. Though he didn't know her secret, he was incredibly curious to find out..."That sounds like a great idea! And hey, I bet we could rent out the place with our collective Gil.""...Your collective Gil..." Cloud muttered, still feeling incredibly broke after buying this mansion. He sighed. "Fine. I guess it can help everyone relax. And the only time I've been there wasn't exactly for pleasure." He turned, pulling out his phone. "You all tell everyone in the mansion, I'll call Tifa and the others who are out." Going to a beach for pleasure... didn't that involve swimsuits? His phone highlighted Tifa's name as he considered this, and he felt his heart skip a beat. ...Was he seriously starting to feel nervous? ...It wouldn't even be that much different from her normal outfit, and why did it matter, anyway? ...He shook his head. He needed to get a hold of himself. She might not even want to go, or wear a swimsuit for that matter. "...Ugh." He shook his head, why did his face feel a bit hot?Meanwhile, this little plan caused a certain Serenitian prince to get a look of slight anxiety. "...M-maybe I should just stay here, in the nice air conditioning..." Kaden was very used to the cold, so even slight heat was enough to really get him sweating. Going out to a beach, beneath the summer sun, it sounded like it would roast him alive. "I can just stay... right...?" He somehow had a feeling that wouldn't end up being the case.... (( OOC: ))

Azura glanced at Ephraim, seeming to go quiet for several seconds before finally beginning to speak. She needed to think of something that didn't result in her telling them the truth about her. She just..wasn't ready for that yet. "...The sight of the sickly sea made me feel ill..I will be fine....as soon as I see that not all of this world's oceans are destroyed.." She returned her attention back to Cloud as he mentioned who was most responsible for the conditions. "Who are these 'Shinra' people? Is there a leader I can speak to? " Speak, that was funny. She wouldn't just speak nicely to them at all! To bad she wouldn't get that chance. "...It just is....it should be important to everyone. " Turning to Zack now, she began to grow rather curious of this place. It sounded nice, if they spoke so highly of it. "Oh, it must of been such a terrible experience for you..How many girls were on the beach at the time of you're visit? " She had to poke some fun in there somewhere! "Though, we have you beat! Our view was truly a horror on it's own.." Aerith remembered that time at the beach with everyone, and while it wasn't exactly a enjoyment, they did find their way to the shore line for a short amount of time, and it was in that time they came across the white coat of a certain scientist. ."Right, Cloud? " If Tifa was there, she would be agreeing a lot! "Hojo, laying there in a beach chair..!" It was a sight no one should see. "..All of us? .." She supposed she could find a place to not be visible, if it was as big of a beach as she hoped. Still, she couldn't afford to pass this chance up ether. At some point, she would have to end this secret, it would be better to, for her sake. To make them understand why she needed to be there. "..That ..could be fun..I would like that. " She nodded to Claude. "You could say I do." She did love it, not only because she needed it to survive, or because it was part of her home. "Thank you.." "A beach party? I'm in! " Came Yuffie's voice from the doorway, she was eavesdropping, wasn't she? "I have a good amount of GIL saved up, relax Cloud. I can handle this one. " Yuffie offering to help, the world must of been coming to an end! "Does this beach have any buildings near by? Some place to help everyone stay cool that don't want to take part in the sun? " Azura looked right at Kaden, and he may find it very hard to resist those pleading eyes! "..You will come, won't you?" Not only that but she did feel a lot more comfortable if he was there, she didn't know what this place was like or how many people might be there. If anything, he could help hide her so no one could see when she turned into the shy mermaid that she was!

"Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your SOLDIER honor." "Heh, not many," Zack said with a shrug in response to Aerith's playful accusation. "In fact, I doubt any were there!" She didn't need to know he was there with a very attractive "co-worker." Not that it was exactly a date, more so she had been there to watch him. All of his vacations at that time "happened" to overlap with Turk vacations. It was quite the troubling time, but it wasn't so bad when it was Cissnei. ...He wondered what she was up to now. "Hey, I had to fight a bunch of things in my swimsuit! It wasn't so easy for me either. I used a parasol to beat them with!" Remembering that and describing it now, it really was rather absurd that it all went down like that."I'd rather not remember anything about that day." It had been enough of a bother getting across the sea, and things got even worse once they finally got to their destination."Uh huh! And how much of that Gil did you steal, huh?!" Zack and Yuffie hadn't really had a chance to catch up on old times since he had come back. "Yeah, I didn't forget what you put me through! You know, I was concerned that the little Wutai shrimp was always in those dangerous places, and you took advantage of that!" He sounded like he had a bit of a chip on his shoulder."...You two know each other?""Oh we've met. Too many times!""...Small world." It almost seemed like some kind of fate. How many of his journey companions had Zack met, he wondered."Anyway, I still have my money, too. Somehow. But man, a beach trip! Think we'll see any mermaids?" Kaden cringed, his eyes widening slightly."?" Ephraim's head turned to look at Azura, before returning to Zack. "...What is a mermaid?" Uh oh."What, you don't know? They-""Don't exist!!" Kaden cut in abruptly. "We should really be discussing the logistics of this trip, not discussing stupid fairy tale stuff!""Well, unicorns don't exist either." And yet Unisha was around, not to mention Phoenix, another mythical creature."That's... completely different! Let's just discuss the beach instead! It's a much more interesting topic!" He seemed pretty passionate about this. Why ever for. "..." Kaden blinked as he caught that look from Azura. Oh, gods. "...I-I'll come..." He had never been able to deny Azura anything, ever since they were kids. Or Teresa. Or Lilith, really. But at least occasionally with his sisters he could resist them. Azura... no. She didn't need her mermaid mind manipulation to wrap Kaden around her little finger. (( OOC: ))

"Costa Del Sol, a very popular resort, with no ladies on the beach? You aren't very good at lying, Zack! " It wasn't as if she didn't trust him, of course, she did enjoy teasing him about it though. "Zack and the mighty parasol.." Aerith said, giggling softly. It probably wasn't very pleasant for him, but she couldn't help but imagine it herself, and well, it was quite amusing! "Heh.." Yuffie grinned, walking past the others so she could stand next to Zack. "If you consider grabbing all the GIL from dead monsters, sure, I stole lots of it! " She started to snicker loudly! "Aww, I'm so touched you cared..Ya big softie, you were so easy! " Thanks to his softness, she had her many run ins with him. It amused her to no end just how many times she tricked him! "Treasure Princess always wins!" She winked at Zack. "Should I tell them how many times you fell for my tricks? The same one, over and over again?! " ".........." Azura let out a soft sigh, thanks to Kaden's quick thinking, they didn't seem to push any further on the topic of mermaids! Though he would realize that his good deed didn't help him in escaping. He would come along, even if she had to drag him out along with her! "..Thank you, Kaden..We will have fun! " Fun..maybe her, but probably not him once that heat started to get to him! "..I will absolutely not go in the water, if you don't mind. I will find a place away from the sun while you all swim." L'Arachel glanced at Ephraim, was he actually planning on swimming..? The thought of him shedding down into a pair of swimming shorts was..so very alarming in her strange mind! It was beyond worse then that unsightly shoulder of his!

"Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your SOLDIER honor." "Yeah keep laughing. We'll see if it's so funny if it happens again!" Who knew if they might get attacked while there, and if they did, Zack and his parasol would be ready. "You were a stupid kid! You cried all the time! How was I supposed to just leave you there? Ugh! You know, stuff like this is why no one trusts anyone in the world anymore!" Zack might have lingering trust issues after her constant escapades with the "Treasure Princess." "Well excuuuse me for trying to help a child who was in a dangerous place she shouldn't have been!" Now that these two were in the same team, how often would this lovely discussion come up?"Fun... right..." Kaden was going to literally melt, he knew it. Oh well. Time to accept his fate, he supposed. "I've lived nineteen years, I guess that's a full enough life..." Someone sure was melodramatic. "Once I'm gone, tell Frozty, I love him." He said dramatically to Azura, referring to his ice puppet from the other day. A recurring ice puppet, of course. Teresa was great friends with Frozty! Back when she cried a lot, bringing her dear friend out was the easiest way to stop it. And as she had gotten older, he was still bringing out Frozty for her a lot more than one might think. But he was glad to make his cute sister happy."Swim..." Ephraim had never exactly gone swimming for enjoyment. Renais was landlocked, the only country on Magvel that didn't border the ocean. Needless to say, beach excursions weren't exactly common for him. That is to say, he had never been to the beach for relaxation. "I'll select attire that covers my shoulders, L'Arachel. Would that help?" Always back to the naked shoulder fiasco with these two. "Do you not know how to swim? I'm not exactly a professional, but I can teach you, if you're willing. It could be fun." Surely there was no way this idea could backfire given their history. But either way, he hadn't had much in the way of "fun" ever since the war had begun, ended, and he became king. The closest he had were battles, and that wasn't exactly innocent fun. Spending time together with L'Arachel, attempting to relax at the beach... well, in theory it sounded pleasant to him. "If you don't want to swim, we don't have to. I would just like the chance to spend more time with you." Quite straightforward. Ephraim had a habit of cutting straight to the point with things, though he sometimes metered himself with L'Arachel out of worry for offending her sensibilities, after the naked shoulder incident. In some cases though, his nature took over without him realizing. "...If... you don't object." He seemed to realize how direct he was acting again, and decided to further clarify. He certainly wouldn't want her to think he was going to try anything untoward... (( OOC: ))

Yuffie crossed her arms, smirking at Zack as he went on. "That was all part of the act, Of course! You fell for it all the time...How else would I have stole all those treasures?! Oh hey..Do you still have that one I returned back to you? " She asked with an innocent grin. "Heh! You can just admit I Am the strongest warrior in all of Wutai! I never stopped, not once! Years later, I found them. And just like you, so soft.." Aerith may of been a little to amused at their bickering, it was honestly really very cute. "Yes, she took all of our materia one day. Every single one, not just Cloud, Tifa and I's, but others you haven't yet met. We had no materia at all! " She glanced at Yuffie, smiling innocently. She may regret acting tough now. "But did you forget after words, Yuffie? Back in Wutai, when we tried to get our materia back from you? What happened?? " "...Hey..! Err.. I didn't ask you to speak! " Uh oh. The nervousness in Yuffie's eyes was growing. "She and Elena were both captured by a terrible man..and it took working together with the Turks for us to rescue them both! " One of Yuffie's most horrid memories ever. That was the day she felt so powerless, and realized she wasn't quite as invincible as she thought herself to be. Azura giggled softly, walking around to stand directly behind Kaden, he would feel her arms wrap around him from behind in a cutesy little hug. "You can come with me, the water would be much more cooler then sitting outside of it. If we can get away from everyone else, you can put use to your ice magic and create a cool pool area just for you, and I could stay close to make sure nothing happens. " She would say into his mind, as she finally released him afterword. "...Are you saying...you want to join them in the water? " L'Arachel questioned. Oh, how could she go about this? She might lose her senses all together if she seen Ephraim that way, his bare-chest, well toned body out there for the world to see.......the world...to see."....Yes..! ..I mean, yes..T-That will make me feel more comfortable..." Not really, it wasn't at all about her this time. It was about all the other girls that might see him, in that state. Oh gods, what if she started to circle him, touch him? FLIRT with him? "...F-Fine..." She gave in, she had to. The risk was to great, if she didn't join him in that beach, sure enough those ladies would swarm him and she absolutely wouldn't allow that! ...but why? ..Why was she so jealous and unwilling to allow others near him? "...I will..allow you to teach me.." This was the best cover, the best possible way to keep any of the girls away from him, so long as she stuck close to him, and pretended not to know how to swim, it was her perfect cover. "No! .." She took a step closer to him. "I do want to...I want to spend more time with you...we never did get much of a break, did we? ...This could be a start.." She didn't just want to keep him from the ladies, it was true, she DID want to spend time with him.

Nero Nero had returned to Avalanche Mansion in the absence of its residents, not to stir up chaos, but rather to address chaos that was stirring on its own. The collision of space that had occurred between multiple different worlds caused fluctuations in reality as it was intended to be, which brought a whole slew of issues. Most of them, Nero held in check with his own power, but the gathering of so many outlanders in this central location caused chaotic energies to fluctuate wildly here. Though those who currently lived here didn't notice it for now, it would become increasingly difficult to notice if left unaddressed. So, here Nero was, to address it. He glanced around the living room, as silhouettes walked around the room, not entirely existing in this area of reality but still lingering enough to manifest slightly. Raising his arm with his hand faced upward, the chaotic energy gathered above his hand, swirling viciously as more and more gathered, absorbing the silhouettes in the chaotic mass as he concentrated on it. He recognized, though, that even if he could contain this, it would just come back if left unchecked. As space distorted in response to the collision of worlds, time, as well, distorted. There may have been a way to address this... His attempt to contain the chaos blew up in his face--literally. And from the small explosion of the collected chaos, a small group of beings that bent time shot out, their forms shimmering which coincided with their ethereal presence in this reality. "...Whoops." Well, wasn't much he could've done about that."...What..." A fifteen-year old boy in the small group stood, inspecting himself. "What's...?""Calm down, calm down..." Mirages. Echoes of what may come. He should cast them back out, but that would just be a band-aid on the problem. Chaotic energy swirled around the shimmering forms of the group, and there was one way to clear it. With a wave of his hand, the small group would feel the ethereal nature of their existence suddenly snap into real, feeling like a ship that had just dropped anchor. The shimmering of their forms would subside, and the chaotic energies surrounding them would subside at last. And at last, the mansion was at peace. For the moment. Nero knew that the only way to continue to keep this energy at bay would be to constantly bring Mirages in. This may make the state of reality worse over time, but if this wasn't done now, the gatherings of off-worlders would destroy reality faster. It was an imperfect solution to an impossible problem, but he decided it was the best solution at the moment. "You're all Mirages in this world. Your consciousness was brought here from a different point of history--in this case, the future, history that is yet to be. The chaotic energy here has given your consciousness form, and here you will exist for the time being." The form given to them was the only form their consciousness could create--their own bodies, exactly as they had been. "...You're in the past. Hooray. Most of your parents aren't together yet. Try not to spoil things for them. Anyway, I have things to do. Bye." And he vanished after that very comprehensive explanation. Though he actually wasn't leaving the area, he just had to... make some adjustments to the reality inside of this mansion, to allow Mirages to come more easily once preparations were complete..."..." Reiner blinked a few times, his eyes scanning the room around him. "...Well, I'm more confused now than I was when I first showed up." Maybe not the best explanation he had ever been given.(( OOC: ))

"What the F*ck.." Ah, the sound of such a lovely, kind spoken voice. "Why..the hell...am I sparkling like a damn unicorn? " There was a LOT of love in this girl. That shimmering of her body was not only uncomfortable feeling, but insulting to her in the ways of looking like a sparkling unicorn, or even a fairy of happy tales! "..Mirage? ..." Her angry red eyes set on Nero, most people tended to back off the moment her attention was locked onto them, but probably not this annoying God. "Whatever...this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. " She didn't believe it now, she wasn't even sure what to believe.. "All I believe is how shitty my luck is. " She said after Nero's departure, giving a cold stare at the confused Reiner and the other one not far off from where he was, looking completely stupid. "To be stuck anywhere with you two..ugh..I'd rather kill myself. " "Grr. What is THAT supposed to mean, you emo red-headed jerk?! Hey, REINER! " Lily hurried over to him, grabbing onto his arm."Were stuck with miss devil-girl. Wanna ditch her? I can't spend these confusing moments with the likes of moody-emo-I-hate-my-life girl! "

"...Hey! Your aunt is a unicorn, isn't she? Maybe that has something to do with it!" Yes, that would definitely explain why they were all shimmering like this. Reiner just wanted to be helpful, it seemed. "Really? This is the stupidest? I feel as though I've heard much more unintelligent things from a baby once or twice..." Leave it to Reiner to take everything literally. "Oh, come on, cheer up! You can't be that unlucky. You could've been alone, but we're here! Doesn't that show how good your luck really is?" Of course, that would definitely cheer her up. "You know, maybe if you tried smiling, you'd feel better about things." Reiner held hat steady smile on his features, as ever. It seemed Aria's negativity didn't bother him. 'Good to see you, Lily! Are you in good health?" What a normal question to ask. "Oh, really? I find Aria's utter hatred of everyone and everything around her to be rather charming, personally. It's so fun to listen to her be angry. And she's always angry!" Reiner was just so genuine, it was hard to take that as an insult, even if it may have sounded like it to some people. He actually meant everything he was saying. "What if we all just went out and got something nice to eat? Maybe we'll learn something about wherever we apparently ended up. Or... whenever we ended up? Either way, it'll probably make us all feel better." What a novel idea. It would certainly be the case that they would all be rather hungry, given their form had just materialized from the memory of their subconscious. It didn't exactly materialize with a full stomach.(( OOC: ))
