Has the world ended for anyone else yet? Cos it's 8 pm here and nothing's happening. Very disappointing... Regretsy's April Winchell is giving away lots of stuff today in celebration of the Rapture and the competition for getting the stuff looks really fun! So if any of you guys have access to a camera and would like to own some wonderfully whimsi cle stuff handled and possibly autographed by the voice of many of your favourite Disney characters, it's worth a shot. Omg Hana, I loooove your avi =w= heart

Hahahah... I don't really know what's going on with the whole end-of-the-world stuff... It was very interesting to see what people at work thought, tho. I had a lecture from my manager of all people telling me to go to church and save my soul from purgatory. A coworker and I figured that since we are currently living life(at work) in a possible hell/purgatory combo, church wouldn't do much for either of us non-believers.
@Red: Out of curiosity, Are you religious? It seems like all the believers I've talked to about the whole endoftheworld stuffs have reacted in a dry and unamused way... XD It's been interesting.
@Lorika: Thankies~ <3

@hana: I guess I am, to a point. I think the best way to describe me on that front would be "lapsed Catholic". [shrug]
My position is basically "my faith is my business; what you believe is yours" and I act accordingly... but that doesn't stop me from mocking the clearly stupid ones (i.e positions with holes so wide you could drive a semi-trailer truck through them)

hahaha... Sounds about right. =3 I can't say I really believe religion was supposed to be a spectator sport... it just kinda expanded into one...? Or something like that. XD

It wasn't the end of the world as we know it It wasn't the end of the world as we know it It wasn't the end of the world as we know it An' I STILL feel fine......
Even though I'm late to the party, I'll throw this in here. I'm just cynical about the whole religion thing on so many levels that I've lost count of my reasons...all I want is for the religions to leave people alone. I heard a reported quote from Ghandi earlier today,if I find it again I'll add it to this
Wow, only 8 days of school left? And still more projects? Huzzah and much work!

Hahahah Hai Angel~
@Rocket: I think only the people going to heaven were supposed to have the rapture... and any who didn't are doomed to the end of the world via 2012. XD Either way, I see all the same faces at work every day and out in the world, so maybe people aren't as guaranteed a spot in heaven as they claim. >D

@Hana: At the supposed time of the rapture, a few friends and I were attending a show at the anime convention and the MCs claimed to have been stuck in traffic because of the world ending. Even funnier was when one of the guys looked out at the crowd and said something like, "Oh, I guess you guys are all here too...hoo boy. Look at what God left us with..." XD He was kidding, of course.
But in all seriousness, and I guess it's because I've seen the ending of Persona 3 FES, but it really disgusts me that people are actually looking for the world to end. Cuz I mean, why in the hell would you want the world to end? And even more importantly, what the hell would you do if it did? The fact that there's such negativity in the world really disturbs me.
Sorry, that's my little rant. sweatdrop

hahaha... I totally get what you're saying... I kinda figured they were all sorts of excited about the world ending so they could stop pretending to believe in something there is no proof of and be automatically shunted to 'heaven'... 'cause the only people I knew of that were looking forward to it were the ones who were all holier-than-thou and thought they'd be going up and the rest of us would burn, as would be our just desserts or something. >___> XD crazy kids.
