MaddyMage "All of our money is kept locked away, under the tightest security we can afford." He said, leading them down the staircase.
"But lately, we've had money disappearing without a trace and nothing has been coming up on our cameras. We have no clue who is doing this or how."
As he said "cameras" he pointed at one of the security cams as they passed it. It seemed they had a security cam placed on the wall every couple steps.Maddy shrugged. "How much money can you possibly be losing?" She asked, as the staircase came to an end and they were walking down a straight hallway. "We're losing thousands of dollars at a time." He answered.They came up to a large vault. It had numerous locks on it, several of them requiring some form of physical identification. "How... Would someone get in here?" Maddy asked. It would be completely impossible for someone other than the CEO to enter this vault with all the locks and identification needed. "I don't know. We check on the money every couple hours, and right now we are in between the times when the stealing occurs the most. I'd like you to stay inside the vault and see how money is disappearing." The CEO explained as he started to unlock the vault.
"You'll have to hide yourselves well."Maddy turned to the others. "You up for this? It sounds interesting." Dark crosses his arms and waits to enter the vault.

Finally the vault was opened and they were led inside. Thousands of gold bars and wads of money were laid out neatly in the vault.
"I'm sure you all can find a good spot to get comfy. Just send me a message if something happens."
When everyone was in the vault, he locked them in. Luckily, a light in the middle of the vault was kept on for them.
Maddy situated herself in a dark corner of the room, behind a stack of gold bars.
"I suggest you all hide in a dark place, out of sight. Stay alert for anything."

Kasumi nodded, slipping into a small darkened corner behind some gold bars. She had poor visibility there, but she was out of sight and she'd hear any commotion and that would be her audible message to come out.

Ren picked a stack of gold bars in the middle of the room and mentally moved them around, forming a hollow space in the middle of the stack, which he teleported into. He used his telepathy to be alert for the arrival of intruders while sitting in complete darkness.

They sat there for a little while, waiting. Everything was quiet, and nothing interesting was happening at all. But then Maddy sensed something. She sat up straight, looking over at the door of the vault. She could sense something had just... appeared.
"..."
She slowly got to her feet, and gestured to everyone else to not move (except Ren, who she contacted and told, telepathically). The presence she could sense was that of a Pokemon and a human. There was a Pokemon and its trainer in the vault with them!
"Hello?"
Her voice must've startled one of them, because they backed up into a stack of money wads and sent it toppling over. Maddy lunged at the wad and sure enough, she landed on a person.
Both person and Pokemon appeared. There was a Haunter and a man. The Haunter started to float out of the vault.
"Someone stop it from escaping!" Maddy barked.

Ren teleported in front of the haunter at her command, and unleashed a psychic attack against the pokemon with the intent to stop it from escaping. He reached for a pokeball as well, and Yena, Rens Poochyena emerged from it, ready for a fight.

Dark sends out his Alakazam.
"Ozzy, use hypnosis." Dark orders.
The Alakazam nods and it's eyes glow bright blue as the Haunter is lulled to sleep.

Kasumi jumped out with Eon, her Piplup "Use yawn." she ordered, and Eon the Piplup obeyed, yawning in an attempt to lul the haunter into a sleep if the hypnosis failed.

The Haunter was put to sleep by the Yawnosis combo. Maddy looked down at the man she was sitting on top of. He looked pretty normal, except he had a purple bandana tied around his left arm with a black rectangle on it. Maddy peered at the bandana, an eyebrow cocked.
"Hmm... Who are you stealing money for?" She asked, grabbing the man by the collar and shaking him.
Suddenly, four more men with the same bandanas on their arm appeared in the vault. Maddy was too distracted to notice them. They each had two Ghost Pokemon accompanying them.
"Everyone, fight one of these guys!" Maddy ordered, sending a message on her TADS to the CEO to tell him to make his way back down here.
She got off the man, since the only Pokemon with him was useless, and targeted another one. She took a Pokeball from her pocket and the battle ensued.

Dark yawns and looks towards a grunt, who takes a step back nervously.
"You.. You're that Pokemon master guy... aren't you?" The grunt stutters.
"Yeah," Dark sighs, "I'm also a longtime member of Team Aqua and am very familiar with these types of scenarios. So can we just get this over with?"
Dark withdraws his Alakazam and sends out a shiny Volcarona. The Pokemon's sparkle is amplified by the gold in the surrounding area.
"Uhh... Okay..." The man mumbles and sends out Banette.
"Pulzar, Quiver Dance." Dark shouts. The Pokemon turns to Dark then looks back at it's opponent and begins quivering, which raises it's stats.
"Banette Shadow Claw!" The doll-like ghost pokemon chuckles and slashes at the giant fire bug Pokemon, dealing minimal damage thanks to Volcarona's training.
"Now, Fiery Dance!"
Volcarona does a dance that summons incredible flames. The flames engulf Banette and the Pokemon faints as Volcarona's special attack rises.
"Aww man,..." The grunt recalls Banette and sends out Drimblim.
"Now Heat Wave!" Volcarona blasts Drimblim with a wave of heat and Drimblim goes down.
Dark nods and recalls his Pokemon. He then looks around at the rest of his team.

Maddy sent out Giratina, the great Ghost dragon letting out a roar. It's current opponent was a Lampent.
"Giratina! Use Shadow Claw!" Maddy ordered.
Giratina's claws glowed with a ghostly power and it slashed the lamp-like Ghost Pokemon. Lampent didn't even get a chance to attack; it fainted.
Out next was a Gengar.
"Giratina! Shadow Force!"
Giratina disappeared into the shadows. Gengar fired a random Shadow Ball at the spot where Giratina disappeared, but nothing happened. Then, suddenly, Giratina appeared behind Gengar and hit it hard with its ghostly power, KO'ing it's foe.
Maddy recalled Giratina and then waited for the others to finish up.
