Arekku stepped into the room, hold a small screen up to his face, using a thin utensil to draw. something, he makes his way to the couch where he curls up and continues drawing, oblivious to anything happening around him.

Kasumi stepped into the common room, grateful that her pokemon had recovered after the previous days excursion. Holding one hand over her pokeballs out of habit, she walked over to Arekku and nodded "Arekku, right? We met yesterday. I'm Kasumi, in case you forgot." she held out her hand to him.

For a moment, Arekku didn't even notice the girl who'd come up to him. "Mh...? Oh! I'm sorry." He greeted her and extended his hand to shake hers, "That's right, Arekku Negi, Aqua Sergeant. It's nice to meet you, and might I ask, where's your twin? Ahhh, Ren I think his name was?" He glance around to make sure he hadn't missed the other.
"Arekku!!" A voice called from the hall, "You! You know I specifically said you're not to work on any pictures for the next few days!!" The enraged Venomoth flew into the room, placing herself behind the brunette on the couch.
"Yeah yeah yeah! Meet one of the new recruits! Kasumi, this is Ven. Ven, Kasumi."
"Nice to meet you, dear, how are you liking you experience here at Aqua?" She flew around Kasumi twice before asking the question.

"I gave him a challenge, it should keeep him busy for a while" Kasumi answered, and looked at the Venomoth "Pleased to meet you." she'd never met a talking pokemon before, or at least not one that spoke a human language, so she was quite impressed, even if it was a bug. Bug pokemon weren't her favorite, being bugs and all, but she wasn't terrified of them, with the exception of Beedrill. Beedrill freaked her out big time.

Ven bowed, watching the girl curiously, "You don't seem fully human. I wonder... Hybrid?"
"You mean like Brian and Dark and Sammy?" Arekku looked up at Ven then to Kasumi.
"Mhmm, exactly." Ven nodded, "Well, nonetheless, welcome to the team, we're glad to have you." With that she flew off back into the hallway.
"She's a great Pokemon, knows her manners 'n all, but is easily distracted and sometimes forgetful, bless her heart..." He left a moment of silence and lowered his voice, "So, are you a hybrid?" He had to ask.

"Evil organization, dreams of world domination using pokemon, pretty ordinary tale." Kasumi explained "As far as I know they abandoned their research into genetic manipulation when they made something that let them control wild pokemon, and my brother and I escaped. Last I heard, Team Dim Sun was defeated by Almia's Pokemon Rangers. We were test subjects, nothing more, but we left Almia anyway, not wanting to be labelled as members of Team Dim Sun and get arrested. I gather, though, that Team Dim Sun wasn't the only group to think about attempting genetic manipulation?"

"I'm not entirely sure about Brian, the current leader of Team Aqua, or Dark, one of the other Tier one members, but Sammy asked Dark, whom is a scientist, to change her into one..." He shrugged, "I heard it's way painful."

"I wouldn't know about that, my brother and I were very young when it happened to us" Kasumi answered "But the experiments done on us after we were transformed were not pleasant at all. We were viewed as their great successes, gaining abilities from the pokemon whose DNA we were given without any obvious physical mutations. I guess there were others, but as far as I know they all had undesirable physical mutations, and they were unable to reproduce the successes that they had with my brother and I. Project Gigaremo was viewed as more promising and easier to replicate." she shrugged, thinking he didn't need a history lesson, after all, the Gigaremo Project, along with it's successor, the Miniremo Project, were known, along with how the Pokemon Rangers defeated them and destroyed all the mind-control machines.

He nodded, "Yeah, I remember hearing about it." He stated, thinking over the details, "Of course, I only know what I've been told." He stood, stretching his legs.

Kasumi nodded "Almia is no place to be if one has a connection to Team Dim Sun, so we came here. What about you? What's your story?" she spilled about her past, so it seemed a fair question. She sat on the couch as well, awaiting an answer.

"My story? What indeed... I came here innocent, I knew about Team Aqua's switch to good and believed them. So I came. Of course, soon after my family was attacked and, eh, now I'm that last Negi, well aside from my cousins, but they have a different last name." He went into thought for a moment, still working on his picture, as he glanced down, "Yes!! Finished!!! SUCCESS!" He cheered happily, doing a small dance in his seat.

He chimed out as he came out with a stack of paperwork.

"Success at what?" Kasumi asked, confused by Arekku's sudden excitement "By how excited you are, it's almost like you discovered the meaning of life or something."

"I was drawing Maddy, and I'm finally done!" The boy chimed happily.
He noticed Memo come up, "Oh! Hey, where've you been all day, Memo?" Just then, a notification dinged on his TADS, he flipped it open, noticing that it was a change in someone's rank, "Ohh~! I wonder wh-....?" He looked up at Memo, bewilderment blanketing his face.

The boy dropped his papers off in front of Ginji's doos and gave a newvous chuckle.
"Aheheh."
He grinned shyly and tilted his head.
"It's only temporary. Just so I can help around here a bit, ya know?"
