"Hmph! Of course you do.." It was good for him, too, because she did notice another pillow, though smaller, it was still a great Ephraim targeting weapon! L'Arachel's green eyes remained on him at all times, watching him as though he were some dangerous creature she should be extra cautious around! "Is that so? ...I shouldn't be surprised! Once a pervert, always a pervert! I will never forget ...what you did...that day! " It was as if she were recalling the most horrifying memory of her life. "...That naked shoulder..." She had to shake that off her mind, how mortifying! "...Such evil intentions could never get past such a holy woman, I will foil all your malicious plans! " She began to walk towards the door. "...I will be leaving you now, I won't give you anymore opportunity's to do...anything else! " Even to be in this room alone with him..it was very sinful! She reached for the handle to step outside, completely unaware where she even was, it didn't quite register to her yet!

Azura's attention was brought to the only pleasant sight in the room, as Kaden descended the stairs, looking rather sleepy, and so very cute in the process. She lifted her hand, returning the wave in greeting. "I'm happy to see you're okay, Kaden..How are you feeling? " Besides being sleepy after a very long sleep! Her sea-blue eyes returned to the irritating childish-god, glaring in his direction. Did he have to be so annoying, ALL the time! And rude to Kaden, which in turn, really annoyed her all the more. But what would really spark her anger, was his little water trick! "Nero!!" Had he not been a God, one had to wonder if he would be so brave to anger Azura like this, especially doing that. It was one thing she hated the most, and more so when others used it against her. She sighed heavily, standing quickly and walking away from where she was once seated, away from Nero, only to slip herself behind Kaden. The only thing that would calm her enough to NOT attack Nero at this point, was focusing on the silver-haired prince. "Thank you, Kaden." She whispered to him softly, to which she would watch his next impressive, cute act with his ice-puppet. "...." Oh god, how was she ever to stay calm when Nero was there, constantly making a mockery of everyone around him? "It was, you just don't have the smartest company watching this cute trick! " She reassured him. Cosmos meanwhile, took a handful of popcorn as it was offered to her, and stuffed it rather messily into her mouth! Bits of popcorn fell from her mouth, some even into ...her cleavage. The rest was on the floor! The ill-mannered goddess blinked, glancing down at her...chest, only to disappear, and reappear right there in front of Kaden this time. "I goddess shouldn't have to do the dirty work, you should be the one.." She smiled at him, a malicious smile that clearly showed how ill minded she really was! "Get it out of my --!?" But before she could finish that sentence, Cosmos was pulled completely away from Kaden, by Azura! From there she stood herself protectively in front of him, glaring into the perverted goddess's direction. "You should leave! Both of you! Now!"

___ ___ _________ ___ ___ "We face the king of demons, the monster that once ruled all Magvel. He's more powerful than any one of us here. But we have something that beast will never have. We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." "L'Arachel... saying that will give people the wrong idea..." Ephraim sighed softly. Well, speaking to L'Arachel had always been quite a whirlwind, and he suspected that wasn't going to change anytime soon. ...And he wasn't exactly unhappy abou that. "...That was a misunderstanding! I was only showing you the scar on my shoulder, like you asked!" He was getting a serious case of deja vu here. Didn't they have this conversation already? ...Oh, yes, of course. "A naked shoulder is a big deal!" How could he forget? No one could quite get Ephraim quite so consistently confused and nervous except L'Arahcel. Likewise, no one could fluster L'Arachel as much as he could. ...Even though most of it was unintentional. What a pair they were. "Right... you do that." He would give her a few moments to step outside of the room and grow bewildered at her surroundings, before he would finally stand up and follow her outside. "...This is a mansion that belongs to a group known as Avalanche." He explained as he came to join her. Below the railing they came to upon exiting the room, they would be able to look down into the living area, where the gathering with Azura and the others took place. "It may be difficult to believe, but we're not in Magvel anymore. ...And for the record..." He pointed at Cosmos. "...The immodest one there is a goddess. The one I mentioned." He just had to include that, to hopefully make her see he wasn't lying. ...But of course, she was unlikely to just take his words at face value. Though it was hard not to be impressed by the angel wings she had. ...Not that there was much to be impressed by in her personality, but hey. "Given we're no longer in Magvel... I've decided to temporarily work with Avalanche. I provide my strength and strategies for their operations, and in return, I am allowed to live here for the time being. And it would... bring much peace to my mind if you would choose to stay here, too." If she chose to leave, he would likely choose to leave alongside her. He just... couldn't really just watch her leave and hope everything turned out fine. Especially after the situation he had found her in. He already felt very protective towards her, but the instinct had skyrocketed after that. "...I know this is a lot to take in. I can explain the smaller details later, but for now, just know this is a completely unfamiliar land for the both of us.""Hey, I resent that," Nero said, as he was referred to unintelligent company. "I am quite literally the God of Wisdom. I am much smarter than all of you by default.""Aren't wisdom and intelligence two different things?""I dunno, what's the difference between dying and death?""Well-""Because you're about to find out if you keep talking like that." Really, for two beings who had been alive for thousands of years, and had watched countless generations, acting in this "childish" manner was one of the only ways they could find enjoyment. He didn't really care if it bothered the mortals around him. They would be dust long before his existence would finally end."...?!" Kaden was taken aback by the goddess's actions, stepping back in shock as his face reddened deeply. "Ah- er- that-that would be improper...!" His eyes trailed down to her... chest area for a moment, before he quickly covered his eyes with his hands, feeling rather ashamed to have looked in the first place. Ah, the poor innocent prince. By the time he unshielded his eyes, though, Azura had manhandled the goddess away. "Azura... I don't know if antagonizing the gods is a good idea..." He said quietly to her. He wasn't meek by any means, but he could probably assume getting on the bad side of a Goddess of War would be a bad idea. Especially considering Azura had been defeated by her very recently... "Hmm? " L'Arachel tilted her head ever so slightly, giving him a puzzled look. "..What exactly are you thinking about now? " It was almost as if she were accusing him of thinking of something perverted! She really needed to learn the truth, before her mind was set that the dear king had turned incredibly improper! "Right! You would like me to think that's all there was to it." Silly L'Arachel, if she only knew the truth, she might not be on the defensive right now. As she stepped out of the room, her eyes were cast to the left, ad to the right of the long hallway where so many rooms were. She noticed some had numbers on the front, while others had nothing, and even some with a name or two. "....." She turned back to look at Ephraim as he joined her, and began to explain the....most crazy story she had ever heard! ....but, the look on his face, it wasn't that of amusement, it was rather serious. He wouldn't hold such an expression had he been lying about this. "....Avalanche..? " What a name. "..How can this be possible? ...We aren't in Magvel..?! ...What of Renais and Rausten? ..What twill become of our kingdoms if we are not there? " She didn't really expect him to have answers, he was likely just as worried as she was. "...I remember now. I got word that you and Eirika were missing...so I came to Renais to look for you, it wasn't long after I arrived that everything....suddenly changed. I was no longer there, but outside in some strange unfamiliar location...there was something in the sky, like some sort of portal.." She paused a moment, a soft sigh escaping as another big part of her now returning memories came to her mind. "..Lissa.." She said softly. "I wasn't alone when I arrived, there was a little girl there too. She was completely terrified of me at first, but I was able to clam her down. It didn't take long before she opened up to tell me of her home and the people living there. She didn't want to return to her mother, or her home at all. She wanted to stay with me, what's worse, I told her I would protect her. Later that day, her mother paid a visit...and in the end, I was unable to keep her from going back to that horrible creature. She had powers unlike what i've seen, and I was unable to see her coming.." Cosmos was -just- about to respond to Azura's rude behavior towards her, when she caught onto the 'love birds' outside the door of their room. "I'll deal with you later, fishie. " And she vanished, only to next reappear there next to the two, clean of popcorn debris as if it were never there! "Oh, look..The two lovers come to join the party! " She grinned. Of course she knew that would embarrass L'Arachel to her core. "You can thank me in a moment, but first, you should think you're hero. " L'Arachel was probably a stubborn one, so she would make it easier for her to understand, by creating a projection in midair, as if he were on film, everything from him noticing her on the ground, dying, to his insane move to jump off the moving, in air ship! She would see everything as it played out like a brief shot movie. "Was that not the most romantic thing a guy could ever do for you? I've been around for thousands of years, and not once have I experienced such a incredibly brave thing! ...Not that I need it, you know, I'm a Goddess. I can take on anything. " She smirked. "Anyway, after that, he brought you to the room you awoke in, never having left your side for a second! Awww...Would you like to see how cute he looks asleep? " Of course, she showed that too, Ephraim sleeping with his head in his arms, against the bed where the sleeping princess remained. "So cute, right? That's when I couldn't resist offering a little help, and healed you both. I also put him in the bed with you.." She grinned. "He was hardly perverted, you see. As cute as the position was he fell asleep in before was, it would be very uncomfortable in the long run. So, there you have it........When is the wedding? I can create the most a-m-a-z-i-n-g wedding you'll ever dream of! " She was something else, it was hard to tell if she was a good person at heart, or the most annoying, trouble-making Goddess in the world! Azura, meanwhile, turned back to Nero, showing him no sign of fear what-so-ever. "Does that give them the right to treat us this way? I won't cower before childish Gods who torment others for pleasure. To show fear towards them, is just allowing them to do whatever they want. I won't have that.." Her eyes remained on Nero the whole time. "If you don't like someone standing up against you, then you should do what I said, and leave.."

We're going to win." Ephraim knew trying to plead his case would lead nowhere, so he would just surrender the victory to her for now, until he could explain things better. And after he had the opportunity to explain the occurrence of them being brought to this world, he crossed his arms. "...I don't have the answer to all of that. I have heard that it's possible we'll be sent back to the moment we originally were taken from once this is all over, but I can't say for certain." He paused, listening to her as she began to recall the things that happened since she came to this world. "That's where I was taken as well..." It seemed possible that that tear in the sky was the thing bringing people in from other worlds, if there were two cases of it happening. There were more too, of course, but only two confirmed for Ephraim. "...In that case, we should try to find this Lissa person when the opportunity presents itself. Her mother--that must be the Krul that Azura told me about." Phoenix had mentioned her name, so on the way back, Ephraim asked Azura for more information. If indeed she was the one who attacked L'Arachel, there would be hell to pay... The conversation would be interrupted, however, as the goddess graced them with her oh-so-divine presence. As she began to speak, Ephraim shook his head. "Wait- it doesn't matter-" He hadn't intended to explain the details of L'Arachel's rescue to her, and he had intended to prevent anyone else from doing the same. But given Cosmos's ability here, there wasn't much he could do to prevent it aside from maybe outright attacking her, but that would be rather extreme. He could do little except sigh and allow the... strange vision to continue. "...Romantic?! I was just..." He didn't expect her to put THAT spin on it. Ephraim was known to recklessly endanger himself when a comrade was at risk, but this was certainly a new height of endangerment for him. Literally! "...I didn't even do anything noteworthy. It was Phoenix and Alisa, two of my comrades--they're the ones that healed you. All I did was stop the bleeding." He didn't know if doing that actually did anything to save her, but in that moment, he wasn't going to take any chances." As Cosmos went on to keep spilling the truth, Ephraim cringed a bit. He really didn't want to freak L'Arachel out with all these details. It was unlikely it would actually freak her out, but he was a bit paranoid for good reason! "I just needed to make sure I was there to explain things when you woke up..." So many excuses! "Cute? This is ridiculous..." He felt like he was being insulted and paraded around for Cosmos's own amusement here! He highly doubted any of these compliments were genuine. It was probably an insult due to his inability to keep himself awake. Which he felt rather ashamed of, but... he had been incredibly tired. "I realize you're only joking, but you're going to freak her out more talking like that." Wedding! How ridiculous! It was obvious L'Arachel felt no attraction towards him! ...Yeah, right. Ephraim really did not understand women at all. L'Arachel had literally suggested they marry once, after the war ended, and he just passed it off as a joke. How much more forward could a girl get than that? "Anyway... none of this really matters. It's as I said--I likely didn't do very much to help. Phoenix and Alisa deserve the attention more than me." Whether or not that was true, it was still rather crazy what he had done. Certainly noteworthy in of itself, at least. But he didn't really think so."Oh, on the contrary. I find it very cute when you mortals flap your lips in defiance. You're the cutest one of them all, Azura. I find it so amusing to watch you instill fear in all your friends. Would you like me to act terrified of you, too? Or would you like your little familiar to own me?" Not unlike it did to Alisa and Phoenix at the Gold Saucer. "You can push me around if you'd like, and I'll act scared. Go ahead. It'll be funny." He doubted she would take him up on that, but it would be funny to see her grow either flustered or irritated due to his taunting. (( OOC: ))

It was no surprise, that after everything was all said and done before her in only a matter of moments, L'Arachel fell completely silent. It seemed, for once, her mind completely broke down and she was left into such speechlessness, it may of lasted..well, longer then she might of wanted! ...............But then, as that silence continued, the two might notice the growing redness of her face, so..very...red. She spun around suddenly, as if suddenly everything just registered to her at once, she couldn't bring her blushing face to look into Ephraim's eyes now! Maybe not ever! What was with this...improperly dressed...goddess?! It was almost as though she were saying all this on purpose, just to get a rise out of her and set her nervousness in motion at the highest rate it could go! ".......!!" She turned swiftly, finally mustering up the nerve to face Ephraim, though the redness of her face didn't fade, she would speak with certainty clear in her voice. "...No..It was you..! You can't do something like that...and then really believe you had no part in being helpful. Everything you have ever done is to help others! It's not wrong for you to accept that. I don't know this Phoenix or Alisa, and maybe they had a part in aiding me, but it was the one who risked everything to save me, who had the biggest impact..." Him, of course. She would be grateful to the others, but, her thanks really strongly went first to Ephraim. She wasn't going to let him get away with thinking he did practically nothing."I think you have me all wrong. I don't 'instill fear' in anyone but those who deserve it. Enemies to myself, friends and others. I don't scare others for some kind of twisted fun.." She began to walk towards him slowly. "However, if you want to believe such a ridiculous thing. Let me enlighten you.." She said this as she began to back him up, had he actually moved as she hoped, he would find the back of his legs would hit into something soft, a chair. She barely relented in moving away from him, and even stepped closer again, causing the God to fall back into the chair. That's the moment surprise would come for him, as the sea-princess raised her foot to his chest, and pushed against it, causing him to fall completely back while still sitting in the chair he was so forced against! Pressing harder into his chest, Azura's blue eyes locked onto his own as they narrowed. "What do you think of me now? "

We're going to win." "...L'Arachel?" Ephraim tilted his head slightly. He was a bit concerned about how quiet she grew... was she actually bothered by his actions? Then came the surprise, as the red-faced Troubadour faced him at last. "What...?" ...He certainly didn't expect that reaction. Perhaps she had a point, and he was being too modest about his involvement, but at the same time, in that moment, he couldn't help but feel as though he were little help. He acted on instinct and desire--he wanted to save her life. But without able healers, there was little he could do to treat her wound aside from stop the flow of blood. Which, yes, it helped, but could he have saved her life without Phoenix or Alisa? ...He didn't think so. He just didn't know. He knew basics on treating a wound, but he was no medic by any means. And the advanced poison Phoenix alleged she had was something far outside his scope of "expertise" on the subject. "...I appreciate that, L'Arachel. I... don't know if it's entirely accurate, but I would like to believe I helped to some extent." Really, it's possible that doing nothing would have led to the same conclusion. Even more so, Phoenix's ability to fly rendered his apparent act of heroism completely moot, anyway. He could have stayed where he was and things would have gone about the same. Thinking of it that way, he didn't do very much--just caused undue stress to the others aboard the ship, especially Alisa. But Ephraim had a knack for worrying his comrades with his recklessness, and that, it seemed, was something that hadn't changed since the war. Perhaps not the best trait for a commander, as L'Arachel had pointed out before, but that was how he was. He would gladly take a risk to save someone else. "The truth is..." Ephraim crossed his arms. "My talents lie on the battlefield--that much is no secret. Though I believe I have helped Avalanche with my merit in battle--even battling this Goddess of War in a tournament setting earlier--I can do little outside of the theater of war. Even in that moment, I knew if I rushed to your side I could do little to heal your wounds compared to my comrades, who had potent healing magic. I knew this, and yet, seeing you there, unconscious and bleeding, I couldn't stop myself from acting. Though I knew my contributions would be scarce if at all, I just... couldn't stand idly by. The thought of losing you, and that I could have prevented it..." He paused a moment, before letting out a short sigh, and shaking his head. "...It doesn't matter now. But I acknowledge that, if my only contribution is in battle, my limitations are too severe. ...The same is true for my merit as king, I..." He realized he was rambling at this point--rambling on things that didn't matter. His weaknesses. Upon this realization, his brow unfurrowed, and he uncrossed his arms, allowing them to drop to his sides once again. "Well, that hardly matters right now. The important thing is that you're all right, L'Arachel. I feel as though I'll be able to fight with confidence once again if you're willing to join me here. And..." He'll be able to rest easy, knowing she's safe. ...What came out, though, was... "...Er, it would be nice to have your healing skills with us." Ephraim showed her a gentle smile, an expression he hadn't worn much since coming to this world. ...Or becoming king, really. What Ephraim didn't realize was, seeing L'Arachel so close to death, his natural protectiveness towards his allies had heightened much further for her. Adding to that, she was the only person from his world with him here, in this world. He could not afford to lose her... he had to protect her. (( OOC: ))

"It doesn't matter to me if you didn't have healing abilities, what you did was enough, even far to much. " Like jumping out of a moving airship. "I is definitely not a competition. I am grateful to everyone." She paused, listening to what more he had to say. "And I don't want you to do anything so terrifying ever again! If you got hurt trying to save me...think about how crushed I would be, do you really think I could live the rest of my days in peace knowing something happened to you because of me? Whatever trouble comes our way, I am confidant that together....we will be able to handle anything, even a irritating, devil of a Reaper! She just had to add a little playfulness there. "Of course. I do the best at keeping you in line, after all.." She said with a playful smirk. "Mmhmm. The very best heals, you mean? " Someone had to lighten the mood more, why not it be her? She didn't even seem to notice Cosmos poofed herself away, once she really got to talking to Ephraim, it seemed everyone else was pretty quickly forgotten! Of course, Cosmos didn't go far, only right back to the living room. And in that second of her re-appearance act, a probably familiar sight to the mermaid came down over her, a large fishing net. Yep, Cosmos wanted to be on her hate list forever, it seemed. Did she care? Of course not! She was quite confidant, that because they were inside someone else's home, she wouldn't attack her with any of her magic or trident. That trident of hers packed a massive punch that would take out a lot of mansion! There were few great insults to her, all which related to some kind of 'fish' joke or prank. The second worst from water spraying on her, was the netting. It was no joke she had been a target for nets from those who wanted so desperately to catch her, with no luck, of course. She was hard as hell to catch. In the water, at least. In human form? Ha, it was almost laughable how pathetically easy it was! "Oh, look at that. I caught a stupid fish who thinks she's above us Gods! Should I teach you a lesson? " Cosmos would feel the direct impact of a book bonking into the back of her head, but not quite see the source of the thrower, she would hear her, though! "Leave her alone...! " The orange-haired teen was low to the ground, ducking behind the sofa. Gosh, that was so not brave at all. The second she let that book fly, was the moment she dived low to keep out of sight. Why did she feel so bad for the pretty lady there? It was strange, when she looked at her, she could almost see the unhappiness in her eyes, something she hid well around everyone, but for someone like herself, someone who hid from the world for so long, it wasn't very hard to see into people who may of going through similar pain. Of course, she got better over time, she even got out more often, her room wasn't a dark tomb and she had wonderful friends. This princess she seen before her, needed the help now. But could she ever do that, when she couldn't stand tall and face the GODDESS of war? ...Yeah....she probably didn't want to do that at all..!

We're going to win." "...Perhaps." It was hard for Ephraim to agree, given his realization at how little he actually did--but there was no need to continue to dwell or debate the merit of what he did. Everyone seemed impressed by his action, but it made him feel somewhat foolish how little he had actually done. "...It is in my nature to take risks if it means protecting a comrade. Besides, I have no intention of dying anytime soon. I must return to Renais... I must be king." He had to, that was something he knew. His expression softened. "I believe similarly. During the war, I felt unstoppable with you at my side. Though I am aware no one is unstoppable, I believe few are the foes that the two of us cannot handle together." He was aware of his own limitations--a trait rare for someone such as him, who lusted for battle. Though with his own martial skill, along with her powerful offensive and healing magic, they made for quite the duo. "Hmm... is that so?" He tilted his head slightly, amusement taking over his expression as he put his hands to his hips. "I would so love to see your attempt to keep me in line, L'Arachel." He only seemed to recall her failing to do so on a few occasions! "Mm, naturally." While he wasn't aware if any healer here had powers that could compare to her own, especially with Latona, he very highly doubted it. "...I wish you didn't have to come to this world too, L'Arachel, but selfishly, I am glad to have you here, with me." He said that genuinely. He just... felt the need to express that. He was relieved she was better, and he was happy to have someone familiar here, even though he did wish no one from his world would have to go through this as well. ...And that it was specifically L'Arachel who joined him... he was especially happy to have her with him."...!" A distinct clicking sort of noise accompanied the sudden movement of the Prince of the Frozen Kingdom, as Kaden darted forward, tapping into some sort of power to move at incredible speed, wrapping his arms around Azura and jetting backwards with the same amount of speed, back to where he had been less than a second prior. There was a small field that manipulated matter around him as he did it, preventing himself or Azura--or anyone else he moved this way--from experiencing any pain or discomfort as a result of moving so quickly with no acceleration. Once they were back where he had been a moment prior, Kaden had also gone to the liberty to place Azura behind him. "That's quite enough. I respect your power and your authority, but I don't intend to stand by while you both victimize Azura. Gods or not, I won't stand for this. If you insist on continuing these antics, Azura and I will leave." Trying to splash water on her, followed by trying to catch her in a net--it was not a joke in his eyes. He knew she had phobias related to both of these things, and he wasn't just going to stand by and laugh about a dear friend being bullied like this. He recognized, however, he didn't have much chance in forcing them to leave or anything of the sort. So he would just go the other direction, and leave himself, if this continued."These mortals are no fun." Nero said, still sitting in the chair that had been turned over as though it was the most normal thing in the world."It's not fun! She's not your toy, she's a person who has her own worries, and you're both just capitalizing on them like it's your right! I don't- rrrghhh...!" Kaden growled rather lowly, before grunting and shaking his head quickly. He was getting very angry, and his teeth began to get sharper, and his fingernails started to morph into claws. "...Leave!! Or we will!" He had to focus to keep himself from transforming any further just from pure anger. He had the ability to change into a white furred wolf at will, but if he transformed out of anger, it was a more monstrous transformation, and one he had some difficulty controlling. He had ways to manage his anger and keep himself from doing that, and he was a patient, kind prince by nature, but his patience was being tested while these two pretended like Azura was just something they could play with. L'Arachel sighed softly, shaking her head. That was something she was fully aware of, and respected even if it worried her to death. "I haven't seen a lot of this world yet, but I can't help but feel that this one may be even more dangerous then ours. The whole time I was out there, I had this constant feeling of being watched. That was hardly the most eerie part of it, come nightfall, the sounds around me were quite terrifying! " She wasn't easy to scare, if she wasn't trying to avoid those sources due to wanting to protect Lissa, she would have gladly purged away from monsters! "Just another reason i'm glad we are together now, we'll cleanse this worlds evil doers without fail! " They may actually need a plan for the teleporters, though. It wasn't as easy to avoid sneak up attacks by the so called 'Reapers'. "Hmm? Wait, do I hear a challenge?" Challenge accepted, she grinned. "I have to see to it the king is returned to Renais, in this new world, I will be better prepared, ready for all the new challenges that await. That includes you!" He may be the biggest challenge of them all. "It may not be our world, and it may bring much trouble along the way, but there is a positive note to this. We can be together again.." Azura barely got much of a glimpse of what was coming down on her, before Kaden's very sudden intervention. She would never feel the net fall over her, or deal with the humiliation of what Cosmos tried to do as the Serenitian prince grabbed her even quicker then the Goddess could register. Now that had to sting her a good bit! Finding herself now behind Kaden, Azura found herself lightly blushing, such a silly time for that, and it happened the most when he protected her. It just made her feel so..happy, and safe.It was different with him, where as anyone like Phoenix or Alisa, she would be appreciative to them, but it never filled her heart with this feeling when it was Kaden. ...Still, as much as she loved this, she couldn't let him risk himself against ignorant gods, it was hard to tell sometimes, just who's side they really were on. "Kaden..Let's just go.." She didn't see them leaving willingly, and she didn't want Kaden getting hurt, especially now that his anger was really starting to show. With Azura so closely behind him, he would feel her arms around him, as she hugged him from behind. Some might see this as romantic, but they were two very close friends, she didn't really think much of it but as an innocent attempt to calm him down. "You don't need to bother yourself with them..Let's just-" "Fools!" She cut off Azura before she could finish. "Do you think you will get away with that? Insulting me..ME?! " Her eyes locked onto Kaden's furious ones, clearly not bothered by his intimidating rage. "Go ahead. I'll skin you alive if you continue. Then, I'll wear that beautiful white fur as a coat! " Was she serious? It was Cosmos, she was very twisted, and very unpredictable. "....Can your powers protect you from the abyss? ....That's exactly where you will be if you threaten Kaden again! " Of course she wasn't going to listen to that kind of talk directed at Kaden.

We're going to win." "Of course. Isn't that what we do best?" That had been L'Arachel's mission in their own world, destroying evil and especially the monsters she found. Though Ephraim didn't share her supposedly divine purpose, when they worked together, they could mow legions of monsters down quite efficiently. And it became more than doubly so after they received their Sacred Twins. "Oh? Do you intend to conquer this challenge? I warn you: I don't pick fights I can't win." He grinned. Of course! These two were so similar, it wasn't any sort of surprise they both rose to such a "challenge." "...I'm glad to have you with me again, L'Arachel. And, I-""Try it!" The more Kaden became angry, the more his self-preservation lowered, and the more he actually wanted to fight this goddess. Though he began to relax at Azura's touch, Cosmos continued to instigate."..." The commotion downstairs was becoming harder and harder to ignore, and it seemed it was no longer playful. "...I'll handle this." He informed L'Arachel firmly, turning and making his way down the stairs..."You think being gods gives you any right to treat Azura this way?! I won't stand for it! I-!"Ephraim stepped in front of Kaden, causing the latter to grunt in surprise. "...Calm down." Ephraim said calmly to Kaden, before turning his attention to Cosmos, standing in front of both Kaden and Azura. "That's quite enough." He said sternly. "Cosmos, I appreciate that you healed L'Arachel, but just as when Nero caused problems with Phoenix for no good reason, I will not stand by and allow gods to treat mortals as their playthings. I ask sincerely that you stop, and if you cannot do that, you must leave. I would rather us not leave on bad terms, but I defeated you once, and I will do it again if necessary." He spoke seriously, staring her down the entire time--his eyes not leaving hers. He wasn't intimidated, and he would not simply loaf around while gods treated mortals this way. They weren't toys, they were people who lived--they had dreams and desires. They also had fears and phobias that could be exploited by unempathetic gods. "Stand down. Act civil. Be kind. It isn't much to ask." If she could do that, he had no problem with her remaining here. (( OOC: ))

Cosmos seemed to be enjoying the rise in anger she was getting from him, he took her fun away, now it was time for him to suffer a little. Making humans and Serenitians suddenly full of rage did satisfy her some, of course it wasn't nearly as good enough. For now, it would do. "Try it? It's not try. It will happen, anything I want will happen! I can do anything, ANYTHING I want to you. I could take that little wolf inside you, and turn you to tare your friends apart. I can make you so alone, you would beg for death! " Cosmos was so past the line, but did she care? Even Gods had some set rules, and it was likely she ignored every single one of them. Threatening innocence was hardly an okay thing. Her head turned slightly, as her eyes would settle onto Ephraim, and soon L'Arachel who came alongside him. Her attention would fall back onto Ephraim a moment later. "Oh? I helped you both, and now you want to turn against me? " She raised her hand a little. "This won't do. Suddenly, everyone thinks they can talk down me. Let me show you, just how small you really are to me.." Suddenly, chains with steel collars appeared on everyone's necks, very much unbreakable. "You see? You all are nothing but little dogs to my kind. If you act against me, you become chained. Punished! See just how helpless you are? Now, if you apologize to me now, I'll release you..and be on my way. What will it be? "

We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." "...Not everything is so black and white, or absolute." It was childish to assert they had "turned on her" due to a disagreement. He was trying to deescalate the situation here. As much as he'd enjoy another chance to battle her, he would prefer to do it under more friendly circumstances, but if he had to, he would do what he must. As she raised her hand, he knew he didn't have much time to react before she did whatever she intended to do. He lunged at her rather swiftly, grabbing her by her raised wrist and lifting it, likely shocking her into stopping what she intended to do. "That is enough." He said firmly, staring down angrily into her eyes as she held her wrist. He didn't apply pressure or try to hurt her, he just wanted to make her realize he wasn't just going to meekly sit and wait for her to do whatever she planned to do. He was not her toy. "If you want to pick a fight, then fight me. There's a training room in this mansion large enough for us to indulge. If I win, you apologize for what you've done, and you start to treat mortals with the same respect you'd show an equal. If you win... well, I'll allow you to decide that." He finally released her wrist, though he stayed very close to her, ready to react again if need be. "Do you find these terms acceptable? If you're a Goddess of War, you should have little to fear." He did beat her once, and if she agreed, he would be able to see if that was a fluke or not. (( OOC: ))

Again it happened, her plan stopped before she could even make what she was about to do obvious, only this time by the ungrateful king. How was he even able to guess what she was about to do?! He was just a measly little human, yet here he was, holding her wrist with such a determined look in his eyes, that look...was starting to get on her nerves. First Azura, then Kaden, and now him. All of them spoke to her without fear, and stood up to her. This wasn't typical of most people she came in contact with! "I should have left you both weak and exhausted. Next time one of you is facing a dangerous situation, you won't be getting my help! " She disappeared, only to reappear above them, a safe distance from anyone's reach thanks to the high ceilings! "Even if I lost, I would never apologize for anything, nor will I treat anyone with respect if I don't want to.I'm done here, I've had my fill of idiots today! " And she was gone, her presence no longer reachable from within the mansion.

Alisa It was shortly after the antagonistic gods left that the door would creak open slowly, and in stepped a familiar elf princess, along with an unfamiliar elf girl. Alisa, known for her boldness and confidence, walked with a stride of meek submission, and a solemn look on her face. The cute silver-haired girl beside her was the one who walked instead with that confidence and certainty in her steps. "...Ah..." Alisa nodded politely to whoever was still gathered in the living area, before turning towards the stairs."Alisa! Aren't you going to introduce me? You must all be Alisa's friends! I've been looking forward to meeting you.""...R-right." Alisa shuffled uncomfortably, turning to face the group. "This is... Carmen. She's my fiancée... She's from the Forest Kingdom as well, as I'm sure you can guess.""Hello!" Carmen waved politely, smiling. "I followed my dear Alisa here through world-crossing magic. No easy feat, but nothing is too difficult for someone as talented as me." She winked. She certainly didn't lack for confidence. "I require a place to stay until I can complete a more permanent way to cross worlds. I appreciate you allowing people to stay here who have come from another world.""...Alisa? Why do you look so...?""Ah... Kaden... I'm glad you're awake." She shook her head. "Don't worry... everything is fine..." She noticed L'Arachel standing there, and offered her a halfhearted smile, and a small bow. "I'm... glad you're okay." She better be, after all the things that... had happened... because of Krul's poison inflicted on her. Alisa took Carmen by the hand, tugging at her, to say she wanted to leave this group. She really didn't want people seeing her like this. "I'll show you to your room, Carmen...""Ah, all right. I hope to speak to you all more in the future! Hey, Alisa, we can share a room, right...?""...I-if that's what you want...""Yay~!" Alisa began to lead Carmen up the stairs, intending to go towards her own claimed room..."...Eh..." Kaden felt a bit... uncomfortable, suddenly. "...Did you even know she was engaged...?" That came as rather surprising to him. He wasn't exactly close with Alisa, but he would've assumed he would have heard that from somewhere..."..." Ephraim crossed his arms. Something had obviously happened to Alisa since last he saw her--something that negatively impacted her spirit, but what? ...And where was Phoenix? They went together... "Phoenix is still alive, right?""Huh? ..." Kaden concentrated for a moment, before nodding. "Yes, she is alive, and she... seems happy, wherever she is. I can't tell much more than that, though. Something is blocking my senses from getting a clear indication of where she is or what she's doing." It may have been Phoenix herself, or someone else in the area. "Nothing to worry about. Serenitians have the ability to mask these sorts of things for privacy reasons.""...I see." That was good news, at least. Phoenix was unharmed, but what then caused Alisa's shift in mood? ...Well, hopefully it was something that would pass. If not, he might decide to inquire further. It wasn't exactly his business, but it might negatively impact her combat performance. And... he did worry about her. They shared some sort of bond, even with the hectic interactions they had had up to that point. (( OOC: ))
