Pen paused her laughter and turned around to speak with Louie. Jade inched away to allow them room but kept close to Pen. Noticing his attachment she shook her head and then spoke quietly.

"If I knew how it worked I would get us back to our own time. So far there is a probability that it hones in to the past of the person who holds it. Of course thats only two for two."

"You make it sound easy. I don't what happen the last time so what makes you think I could make it take us anywhere?" Pen took the device and swirled it in gesture as she spoke.

Nari was too out of it to notice the commotion of the gang's newest destination. She landed at the base of a tree once again, this time face-down on her stomach. She groaned loudly and stayed there for a few moments before attempting to sit up. She looked up and saw Aly struggling. "Need some help?"
(I'm assuming you mean tree branches.)

"Let me take a look..." KD snatched the device out of Pen's hands. If it makes us go to places that are a good memory... or even just a important memory, then mine would have been this morning waking up to a beautiful day! However... will I be in my bed room with myself from this morning? Will everyone else? What if we all fall and break my things- Before KD could continue her thought ramble the blue light flashed again...

They were in the woods, tall trees everywhere. It was night time about 10pm or 11pm in late fall. There was no moon out, and the only light came from torches and candles burning nearby Not too far from them stood a tiny village. They had fallen about 10 feet behind a crowd of humans, most who were holding torches and facing a make shift stage that had a young KD tided to a stake. She couldn't have been more than 17.

A large man holding a torch came onto the stage- "Kadalena De Galaxie- you have been convicted of witchcraft! For your punishment you will be burned till you are dead at the stake." Young KD rolled her eyes as the man began again "Most of the witches who have come through here have been of this world, and given a chance to make good with the Lord, but YOU-" he pointed at her... "You have come from Hell itself..." Some of the people in the crowd began yelling "The Devil is Blue!"
"Any final words?" The man asked.

"You really do not want to do this..." Young KD said, "This is going to hurt me as much as you..."

Back by the group KD gasped and said "Oh hell... um..." she looked around in a panic, "See those boulders over there? Everyone behind them fast!!"

With another sudden time warp, Nari was completely disoriented. "Wha...?" was all she could say. She landed on her stomach hard, and the patch of grass under her didn't help. She groaned softly and thought, 'Whyyy? Just one soft landing is all I ask!' At the sound of KD's voice, Nari looked up and around for the boulders. She crawled to her left and merely laid on her stomach, head resting on her folded arms, beside Luc and Michelle.

KD whispered back to Louie... "Um this is like 100 years ago... I wondered into this really weird town... and they thought I was a witch... "

Just then the man on the stage lit the wood around young KD and the people began cheering... but it was short lived. Young KD became engulfed in flames and all of a sudden large explosion blew out from where she stood lighting the village and some people around the stage on fire. People began screaming and running in a panic, Young KD had disappeared.

Back next to the boulders KD sunk down and put the device on the ground in front of them, "So... we should either run or blue flash out of here before the forest catches on fire." She said before covering her ears to try and tune out the screams.

Pen was a little startled that it was KD who took the device but was more startled on how far back they went in time. It was understood that Elves don't look their age in slightness after they get to their stopping point, but this was pretty far back.

This time however instead of Jade landing on her it was the other way around landing on his lap Indian style. With a "ooff" Jade had the wind not out of him and a jabbing pain thanks to what Pen fell on exactly. She originally had gotten up but after hearing what was going on he acted and took Pen behind a boulder before she had time to react.

She would hit him but that would have given way their position.

The explosion had Pen in awe. Such a tremendous amount of fire all at once, it scorched the sky above them. Intially she was in shock and didn't run away at first. Jade who had not let her go just yet tugged on her arm and she snapped back out. They both ran right behind the others.
