i'm a fan of teh hair chopsticks that have dangly stuff on them... whatever they're called...
*eyes her dissertation revisions* gonk must... finish... them... by... sunrise...
or, at the very latest, before hp 7 comes out ninja .
RAWR, trying to graduate and move across the country and start a new job and get new furniture all at the same time sucks. i'll probably have to sleep on the floor of my new pad for the first couple of weeks until i buy a new bed. then i have to fly back here in august for my defense, too. the way i see it, the hp 7 release day is kind of like my quiet before the storm.

Unknown Variable Woot, spending more money. biggrin If I didn't already own the first four books, i would get it. unless you can buy just the box, then that'd be ok.

my friend and i were just talking about that. the publisher would probably make a lot of money if they sell only the box. or have an option where you can buy only the box.
after all, a lot of harry potter fans will probably have the complete hardbound set after hp 7 comes out.
and there are cheap people like me who won't fork over money twice for hp 1-6 (and hp 7 if i want it on the release day, which i do).
i just want the box also ninja heart .
aa-aand speaking of boxes, i'ma hustle over to a borders where they can spare me a few left over from their book shipments. they have nice boxes. i <3 borders.

I only have the first four books in the British "adult edition" paper back box set. I ordered them because I hate the "americanizing" they did for the US releases (philosophers stone -> sorcerers stone). I have the last 2 (3) in US hardcover because I was impatient and wanted them on their release dates.
Once I have 100+ bucks to spend, I'm going to order a British hardcover box set.
Oy, Canadian friends: is it true that they sell the British editions in Canada?

We have Canadian editions of HP in Canada, but aside from perhaps the covers, I think they are the same as the British editions - they didn't change any of the language that I'm aware of.
