The boy landed with a thud on his face and as he skidded his feet rolled over near it.
"Hello to you too, Crawdaunt. Hehe."
He quickly jumped up and offered the pokemon some gourmet berry bread that he made earlier. Cerza and Chispa now made their way out of Memo's room. The Chikorita and Pichu had some extra bread for Rex and Memo.

Crawdaunt ate the bread in one bite and smiled. "Craw! Craw!"
Rex gladly took the bread from the Pichu. "Why thank you Chispa!" Rex patted the little guy on the head. Rex's Squirtle and Phanpy popped out of their PokeBalls. The two small Pokemon saw Cerza and Chispa and suggested a game of hide and seek.

Chispa seemed a bit out of it, she was still mad she didn't get to battle last night.
"I hope you like it hehe. I used some Pecha, Nanab, and a small bit of Sitrus berries to flavor it hehe."
Memo said as Cerza happily agreed while Chispa tugged on Memo's shoe.
"Chhhhuuuu!!"

Rex took a bite. "Really good!" He watched as Squirtle tried to get Chispa's attention. Phanpy seemed to be investigating a sneaky tumbleweed.

Memo giggled and was about to share more secrets of his bread, but looked down to see Chispa obviously distraught.
"Huh?"
He knelt down and spoke to Chispa.
"Chuuu! Pichuu."
"Ohhh I get it."
Cerza ran over to the Phanpy as helped poke at the weed, but looked over every once in a while.
"Chispa here is just a bit bothered that she didn't get to start her Contest Battle last night..."
Memo's eyes gleamed a small bit and he looked at Rex.

"It... Feels like ages since I've been here." Nick announced as he entered the area where Rex and Memo were in. None of his Pokemon followed behind him, he was alone right now. "I feel lost. Can someone put me up to speed?" He questioned.

"I ain't great at Contest Battles, but I'd be glad to help out." Rex smiled, picking out a Poke Ball. "Wanna battle me Chispa?" Rex knelt down next to the Electric Critter.

Memo's eyes were now shining like an Ampharos as Nick walked in as well.
"Nick!!"
Memo got him up to speed about Team Frost and how they are a new enemy team who want to coat the world in ice. He then offered Nick some of his bread and giggled.
"I say that both of battle Chispa and I!"
Cerza looked over a bit worried, but then nodded with a smile as she pat the Pichu on the head.
"Rex is down. What about you, Nick?"

"Thanks, Memo... Well, what is it you wanted to do?" Nick questioned, searching himself for Poke Balls. "Hmm. Where did my team get off to?" He asked.

"It's gonna be a Handicap Match..."
Chispa climbed on Memo's head and smiled.
"My Pichu against you and Rex's pokemon."
They both smiled and waited for the boy's responses.

Rex sent out Pansage. "Oh, hey Nick." He waved a hand to the Aquan. "Pansage is down for a battle." He looked at Nick. "Why don't ya go to the PC and log in?"

"Alright, give me a second... Who to use, who to use..." Nick opened up his TADS and used the PC function, searching through his Pokemon. "Bluh. Fine, come on out Cuernos..." Nick called out his Rhydon from the Box, the Poke Ball materializing in his hand.

Memo, Cerza, and Chispa made their way out of the teleporter and appered on the field they were in before.
"Ok, get ready Chispa."
Memo pat his Pichu on the head as she got into position.

Reappearing on the field, Nick looked down at Cuernos' Poke Ball. "Hmm. I think a Rhydon and Pansage against a poor little Pichu is a bit much. On second thought..." He rifled through his Pokemon once more, this time selecting his own Pichu, Lily.
Lily was no ordinary Pichu, though. Her left ear was notched, and she had shown extraordinary powers when Nick had first encountered her.
"Pichu!" She cried enthusiastically upon being released.

Rex recalled everyone besides Pansage. "Let's go buddy!" He stepped through the teleporter. "Let's do this!" Pansage was just as ready as Chispa and Memo.
