Time passes and Billy goes to every performance and now finally, it's the festival. They perform second-to-last, and it feels like they did a really good job, but it's all up to the judge after all. Waiting in the audience for the judges to make up their minds is a special kind of hell.

Billy isn't sitting with the two of them. He's sitting in the back, and they're with the cast. He thought that tonight's performance had been by far the best out of any of the other ones. Especially the killing scene. He gets to wait as well.

Finally the judges come in, Cor and Rave get a special mention for their work together, and the play gets to go on to the next level of competition. This is cause for much joy.

When Bily hears this, he leaps out of his chair and moves toward where they were sitting. Everyone had already been dismissed and it was especially hard to get from the back to the front. When he finally does get there though, he can't find Corri. He gives Raven a quick hug and finds out that Cor had gone to the washroom to wash off the fake blood.
Billy stalks over there and sees Corri at the sinks. "You were bloody brilliant!" he says, wrapping Cor up in his arms.

Corri is in a bit of shock, after all he's never thought of himself as a very good actor, so to get an (almost) individual award AND have the play go forward feels like a dream. He gave Rave a deep kiss when it was announced, before going to the washroom. When Billy hugs him in the washroom, he doesn't really think, he just gives Billy a light, more-or-less friendly kiss.

Billy doesn't think. If he had thought, things probably would not have gone the way they did. He kisses Corri back, deepening the kiss before even realizing what he was doing. When he pulls away, he grins at Corri. "I am so impressed!" he says, then runs out of the washroom, to tell everyone else how well they did and help take care of the set.

Cor stares after Billy for a moment, recognizing the weirdness of him kissing Bily, and the somewhat MORE weirdness of Billy deepening the kiss. He tries to shrug it off and go back to washing off the blood, but it's nagging at him.

The whole thing doesn't hit Billy till he's halfway back to the auditorium. When he finally does realize what happened, his eyes go wide and he stops dead. "s**t." he says, quietly. "Oh s**t."

Even when corri's finished washing off the blood, he stays there in the washroom, thinking 'what the HELL was that?' After longer than it should have taken, he goes back out to the auditorium, feeling a lot less insanely hyper than before.

By then, Billy is long-gone.
Raven comes up to him, still smiling, but her smile fades when she sees his face. "What's wrong?"
