Cloud Strife"All right everyone, let's mosey." Alisa blinked a few times, before giving Tifa a very, very knowing smile. "Ohhhhhhh...." Boy, Cloud had known Tifa his entire life and didn't realize, yet this girl, and probably many others, realized it literally in their first or second conversation with her. "I see!" She nudged Tifa a bit. "Hey, maybe me and the girls can help you out! I don't claim to be an expert, but me, Uni, and Phoenix all working together? We've never failed anything yet! ...Well, that isn't exactly true, but, we succeed most of the time! And Azura is here too. We'll be unstoppable!" ...What was she talking about, helping Tifa with her romantic issues or winning a tournament? Alisa was quite a strange one when she got going."Stupid ninja," Cloud said, poking Yuffie in the skull and pushing her a bit. "You know, I'm having a bad migraine problem lately, and every time someone asks me where I think it comes from, all I can picture is your dumb face." These two had such a warm, fuzzy relationship."...He does seem really comfortable around her though." Alisa noted. "I'm pretty in-tune with this sort of thing. He seemed really uncomfortable on the ride home--his body was literally stiff the entire time, but it stopped any time that girl started talking to him. I mean, it could be like he sees her like a sister or something, but... it might also... not be that." She sighed. She didn't want to make Tifa worry more, but better to help her understand some things. "Listen, though. I don't think Yuffie feels anything for him either way, so don't blame her. It's not a competition, we just need to brainstorm ways to help him see more of your charms!" This was clearly the thing they needed to be focusing on right now!Ephraim's head turned as he saw the pink-dressed one exit quietly through the door. Nobody else seemed to notice, as far as he could tell. "...Hey, Phoenix," He subtly motioned for the princess to come towards him, speaking quietly. "That girl's had this spaced-out look since I first saw her. I think she might get into some trouble if left alone. I want to follow her, but I don't want to freak her out by being the only one following her if something does happen." She could probably see what he meant, considering he was a man. "Are you willing to accompany me?" So formal. But that was kinda how Ephraim was. He would've just gone on his own, but he at least had the wherewithal to realize how that might look. ...Plus, he figured Phoenix might like to take more of a walk to get her mind off that pompous god. Tifa gave the elf princess a puzzled look, the red on her face increasing just a little more. "....Ah..wait..! " She grabbed Alisa's hand, pulling her off to the next room, which just so happened to be the kitchen area. At least they would be out of audible range from Cloud! "...A-Am I that obvious?? " It was almost hard to believe she could detect what Tifa's feelings really were so easily. "..This is so embarrassing.." She may of needed some girl time in her life, this kind of thing was pretty rare for her. Spending so much time at the bar, serving a bunch of drunken men most of the day didn't get her a lot of quality time to have these..girly talks! "Thank you for your offer...though I think this is something I have to deal with myself. " Something she may never be able to do, apparently! Cloud would never catch on to her feelings, and she couldn't bring herself to say it. How silly! "...I...can't see that...There can't possibly be anything between them..not like that! " Yuffie knew of Tifa's feelings for Cloud ,too, so would she really do something that evil and try to steal the man she's loved her whole life? "...It may be that...anytime he's around her, he becomes more watchful of his surroundings, of her. You see, when we first met Yuffie, she had stolen all our materia. Every single one. It took some time to track her down and get it back, and it wasn't an easy task! From then on, I think everyone is just a little cautious of what she might do if she's mad. " Phoenix was kind of standing off to the side, she didn't seem very interested in the beautiful mansion they would now all be living in. Her mind kept trailing back to her humiliating moment with that damned God! It would haunt her for weeks to come. Something did manage to catch her attention however, the motioning her over by the king himself caught her interest just enough that she would walk over to him. "Huh? ..." She glanced toward the front door, where she only caught a glimpse of the pink dress before it the door was closed again. "..Alright, I guess...better then sitting around here I suppose..at least if something does happen, I can imagine the next enemy as that stupid Gods face, and smash it a few times..' Yes, that would make her feel better!

Alisa "Maybe a liiittle..." Alisa said playfully, holding her index and thumb close together as she did. "It's nothing to be embarrassed about. This is what girls talk about all the time! I... think. I mean, we never really did, I guess. I've never been into anyone, and Uni is sooooo proper, she wouldn't admit to anything, and Phoenix just cares about fighting and stuff. Couldn't imagine her being interested in anyone! Funny thing, though, my brother had a huge crush on-" She cringed a bit. "Er... sorry. Doesn't matter. I can be a bit of a chatterbox sometimes." Seriously, how did Unisha and Phoenix deal with this? She just flew off on tangents all the time! And probably best not to bring up her brother again and kill the mood. This was about Tifa! "Hey, I'm not saying there IS..." Alisa clarified. "But, you know, sometimes these sorts of feelings can just pop up without even realizing it." As she went on to explain their original meeting with Yuffie, Alisa sighed slightly. "Okay, listen, Tifa," she took her by the arm, rather pushily pulling her over to the small window between the kitchen and living area, From there, they could see Cloud poking Yuffie, followed by whatever scuffle likely ensued from that. "See how he's casually touching her like that? Has he done that with you? Recently...?" She poked her in the shoulder. "This is called the "touch barrier." Between a guy and a girl, or two people of the same gender who are into each other, this is a dividing line that keeps people separated." She lowered her hand. "In romance theory, passing the touch barrier is the first step to establishing a romantic connection. If it's done naturally, it melts awkwardness a lot and makes things more casual between the two people. This can lead to that lack of stiffness I mentioned. See how he just casually touches her without a second thought? ...Er, that sounded wrong, but you know what I mean. Does he do that with you? Brush shoulders with you, nudge you playfully, anything...? I recognize that's probably not something he does often, but he is doing it with her." She made a rather valid point, then pushing Tifa further into the kitchen and out of sight again. Gosh, this princess sure was pushy! "Listen, I'm not telling you this to make you panic, but you need to realize where you stand with him. That stiffness only melted around Yuffie, not around any of the other girls. And Ephraim, but they're both straight men, it's obviously different. It's something he doesn't even realize he's doing. Most people don't notice stuff like this. I only know so much because my father studied behaviorisms in various different circumstances, and applied that to- gah! Doesn't matter!" She really had to force herself to stop going on tangents. "Okay! So... You and Cloud, you've known each other a year you said? Things should've started moving in an entire year." ...The look on Alisa's face when Tifa inevitably told her they were childhood friends might be alarming. "...Oh god... it's worse than I thought." Things were definitely not going well for Tifa. "Whew, alright, so... Cloud is really dense, isn't he? That's not a bad thing! It means if any other girls try to give him cues, he will completely, utterly, hopelessly miss them, too! ...Are you sure you want to handle this yourself? I can try to keep him and Yuffie from doing anything alone together, at least... I know you don't think anything could be going on, and I'm sure neither of them think that either, but... things like this can sprout in the strangest places, and without anyone realizing. Why, my mother, who's a complete shrewd, passed up on an opportunity to marry the greatest warrior in my kingdom, the obvious option who her parents arranged for her to marry, to marry my father instead, and let me tell you, he was NOT impressive at all in that way. Like, seriously, he-" She stopped herself, smacking herself in the side of the head. "I am SO bad at this. I'm sorry. Tifa is the focus!!" Seriously, how did Unisha and Phoenix deal with this? Especially when Alisa was younger, good god, it was just pure unfiltered tangential nonsense all day long! (( OOC: ))

Tifa felt so silly, but she would try not to let that bother her anymore. She definitly never expected to be having such a deep conversation with the kind princess, and strangely enough, she kind of reminded her a bit of Aerith. She was so full of light and almost always seemed happy, a very kind girl , expect when she was crossed wrong! It was a wonder if she and Aerith would have had talks like this had things not gone so badly in the past. They never did get any time to try and have these fun little girly chats. But here she was, with Alisa, and they were now talking about her something she never imagined herself speaking about out loud."..I..see..Then, we are both knew to this. I suppose that is somewhat a relief! " She was starting to feel like she was the only one in the world who didn't share these kinds of talks with another friend. "..It's just...very strange to even think about, honestly. Yuffie..and Cloud.." Tifa sighed. "I just can't think about that.." Maybe she did have Clouds cluelessness to think in keeping other girls away from him, he would never figure out if they wanted to be close or not! Poor Cloud. As Tifa was next surprised by the elf princess's pushiness as she was pulled over to a smaller window, her attention was quickly drawn to the two figures, Cloud poking at Yuffie, while Yuffie turned around and gave him one big shove, maybe not enough to knock him over, but just enough to annoy him! It was obvious this was hardly romantic, and much closer to a sibling fight then romance, yet the jealousy of Tifa made her think of the worst possible outcome. Alisa's words, unfortunately weren't helping matters. Cloud never once touched her, okay, maybe just the one time she practically had to FORCE him to let her stay at his side for only a few moments. It was such a lovely moment, but also the most saddest. Trying to spend the last days with someone she loved, yet never having any of that affection realized. "...He doesn't." She answered quietly. "Hmm? " A tiny shred of light came through, her words almost had a positive vibe that started to fill her with a little hope. "...So Cloud's slowness is actually the best thing about him? " To her, but not really! It was good for her he was slow at catching onto a woman's feelings towards him, but it wasn't good for her in the way that she had SUCH a hard time trying to get him to notice her. "Thank you, you really are to kind. But I will continue with this by myself, but maybe....I will get a little more strength to step up my game. I can't just give up, right? " She didn't want to, she didn't even know if she ever could! "...Though, there is something that's been bothering me. It was about something you mentioned earlier, about your brother. I'm sorry, if you don't want to talk about it, we don't have to, but I couldn't help but notice something was off, you seemed very sad when you spoke of him. If you need to talk about it, I'll be here to listen. "

Alisa It was a bit odd for Alisa to engage in a conversation like this almost immediately after meeting someone, but that was just kinda how Alisa was. She was perhaps a bit too friendly. Maybe it WOULD be better to leave Aerith to discuss this with Tifa, but Aerith was out now, and Tifa's situation was clearly desperate. At least, Alisa thought so. "That's what I figured..." Alisa said as she confirmed her suspicion. That darn dang touch barrier. "Ahaha... Well... not exactly, but it does put other girls at the same place as you are. He's not exactly bad looking, so I wouldn't be surprised if some other gals had a thing for him, but most would probably give up when their obvious cues were being ignored. Generally, girls think that means a guy doesn't like them, but most guys are kinda idiots and just don't realize they're getting the cues at all." Alisa sighed, shrugging. "And it seems Cloud is par-tic-ularly dense. He DOES like girls, though, I can tell that much. He isn't asexual or anything." He was just completely hopeless when it came to women. Alisa had a very good intuition, and that paired with her Serenitian Sixth Sense gave her a good understanding over people and social cues. "Okay, just... c'mere!" She grabbed her by the arm again, pulling her along. Poor Tifa. Forcing her to sit down in a chair she pulled out, she began. "So, maybe you start by saying... "Oh, Cloud, you seem tense," and..." She placed her hands gently on Tifa's shoulders, beginning to give her a rather relaxing massage. "This is a somewhat aggressive way to break the barrier, but it works! It just seems like you're doing them a favor. Who doesn't like a massage, right?" Alisa was really good at it too, Tifa might notice. Alisa was very good with her hands! Otherwise she'd be a pretty terrible archer. "Oh, or..." She stopped the massage abruptly, hurrying to grab a chair and pull it up facing Tifa's, before plopping herself down on it. "Or, you know, maybe... there's something in his hair, right..." She reached over, brushing Tifa's bangs out of her eyes gently. "And then maybe you say, oh, your eyes look nice today..." She leaned back a bit. "That's typically more of a way guys break the barrier, but desperate times and all that, right? I mean, a lot of romance theory applies to men because they tend to have to do the wooing..." But in cases like this, yeah... it wasn't like Cloud was trying to woo Tifa, otherwise they'd already be together. Probably. "Or, "hey, Cloud, you're looking strong today." Then get him to flex his muscles, like... so!" She grabbed Tifa's arm, basically forcing her to do a flex pose with the arm. "And then you just casually feel it," she touched Tifa's arm. "And commen- o-oh god, you're really strong..." Alisa blinked a few times, apparently caught off-guard by Tifa's own muscle. "W-wow! You're stronger than most men I've met!" Yeah, she had never seen how Tifa fought, so she had no clue she was a physical powerhouse until she did that. "Oh, a-anyway! Yeah... make sure to compliment him on his muscle if you go that route. Guys like when girls make them feel stronger, as misogynistic as that may sound." Alisa stood up abruptly. "Whew! This Cloud guy really doesn't know what he's missing. Srong, beautiful, and your body is literally perfect. What is his problem...?" She sighed, shaking her head. "Being childhood friends does make things harder, I suppose..." So, after offering her help after being told not to help, typical Alisa, Tifa caught her attention as she began to speak again. "...Ehh..." Alisa glanced to the side, growing a bit uncomfortable. "I-it's not a big deal, it's just... not a very happy thing to talk about." Her brother... "..." She sighed. "I have a little brother named Aeon. He'd be 17 now. I haven't seen him in a long time. There are... Well... it's a bit of a long story. There are a sub-species of Serenitians called Reapers, and they want to enslave or slaughter the typical Serenitians, such as myself and Uni. They're similar to what you would know as a vampire. They were sealed in their own realm long ago, after the Great War, but they still manage to slip out on occasion near the Forest Kingdom. My kingdom. As a result, we've had to be the ones to deal with them when they do. My people hate Reapers more than the other kingdoms, which is saying a lot. Reapers were responsible for the murder of my father, and once, some female Reaper got to my brother and managed to turn him, making him a Reaper, too. My mother... has no tolerance for Reapers... and so, she... well... she could have killed him. According to the law, she should have, but she exiled him instead. I'm glad she didn't kill him, but I wish..." She sighed. "I tried to find him afterwards, but I think he found a way to their realm. I don't know what happened to him after that. I haven't seen him in three years. He was fourteen, I was sixteen. I should've done something. I was his older sister, but..." She sat down slowly, resting her head against her hand. "I have a younger sister, too. Athena. After it happened, she wouldn't stop crying for a long time. It's been really hard. She's gotten better recently, but I know she wishes she could see him again. First dad, then Aeon. And now here I am in this new world, away from them. It feels like our family's being torn apart." It was a rather personal story, but Alisa didn't mind sharing exactly, even if it was hard to talk about. She learned Tifa's "secret," so she supposed it was only fair to fill her in. Plus Alisa wasn't one to hide aspects of her past anyway. "So, that's the whole sordid tale. Personally, despite the things Reapers have done to our family, I don't think they're all evil. I mean, they're not just born evil... I can't believe that. My mother would be appalled to hear me say that, but it's how I feel. I wish we could all just get along, and I wish I could see Aeon again. I don't care that he's a Reaper. I just want to see him again..." (( OOC: ))

Cloud Strife"All right everyone, let's mosey." "...The Gold Saucer? But why...?" Cloud crossed his arms. That was quite the bizarre choice of location, to say the least. "And, Mastermind? Really? What kind of name is that?" For this guy, or girl, to call themselves that, they must have had quite the opinion of themselves."I wouldn't underestimate him," Ephraim advised. "Even beyond the fact that you should never underestimate your opponent, this person recited obvious knowledge about myself, Aerith, and Phoenix, and knew details about my and Phoenix's home worlds. Whoever they are, they have some ability to rapidly accumulate information beyond the scope of this world.""They might not be from this world originally, either," Alisa pondered."I thought that at first too, but I doubt that," Ephraim said, putting a hand to his chin. "Though they could recite information beyond this world, information in theory is different from information in practice. This "Gold Saucer" area is likely either owned by them or has been seized by them. It's unlikely they managed either of these things in the short time since the worlds have collided like this, even if they had the information to do it. ...Furthermore, they knew where to go to await this Zack person and ambush him, and their main target was Aerith. It stands to reason their world of origin is this one. If we assume Zack was resurrected before or slightly after Aerith was, it should be impossible for them to have come from anywhere else except this world." That was assuming they didn't come here prior to everyone else, but working off only the information they had in front of them, it should be impossible."...Right." Did Ephraim really think that far into it already? ...Seemed a little unnecessary. They'd just have the information after they stopped him, right? "Show-off." Cloud muttered."...Did you say something?""...No." Cloud shrugged. "If they're from this world, with that sort of information network, they probably had something to do with Shinra, or the Turks. Maybe... Would explain why they want Aerith, at least. Which reminds me... why were you two following Aerith anyway?""To prevent someone from abducting her," Ephraim said, crossing his arms. "Which we did. You're welcome.""...I'm not interested in your reasons. You didn't have any right to just-""If you aren't interested, why did you ask?""I know better than to believe someone like you.""Is that right?"The tension was broken up by a long, drawn-out sigh from an Alisa with a very flat expression. "Can we leave the d**k-measuring contests for later, boys? We have things to do." She said, putting her hands on her hips and giving them both a look."...We'll continue this later.""No you won't.""But that's-" he caught her look. "...It's his fault.""Do I need to repeat myself?""...No." Not much more he could say on that one. "You all know where the Highwind is parked. We meet there in a half hour. Get ready before then. If you aren't there, we're leaving you. Everyone got that? ...All right, let's mosey.""...Mosey?""...Move out." The conviction behind that one was lacking compared to last time he had been called out for that one. (( OOC: ))

Phoenix glanced in Cloud's direction, shooting him a small glare. What was with him getting on people's nerves so easily? "..Is there something wrong with other people protecting one of your own? Hmph. You should be grateful for our help. Who knows what would have happened if we weren't there! " Maybe he was insulted that as a man, he failed to protect someone? Who knew what his problem was! "Heh, you sure got him in line don't you?" Phoenix said into Alisa's mind, smirking. How amusing it was! It was like she were scolding a child. Poor Cloud. "...Weird. You realize that doesn't sound cool at all? " "Excuse me..How will we work together, if everyone is being so cold to one another? We have to focus on getting Zack back safely! How will that ever work with these silly fights between each other? " Aerith sighed, she really didn't want to deal with this. There was only one thing on her mind, and she wouldn't let anything interfere with that.

___ ___ _________ ___ ___ "We face the king of demons, the monster that once ruled all Magvel. He's more powerful than any one of us here. But we have something that beast will never have. We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." Having begrudgingly returned to the mansion in Midgar at Phoenix's insistence, Ephraim now sat in a chair beside the bed wherein the green-haired princess who had been in a dire situation only a short time ago laid. His hands were together against the lower part of his face as he was leaned over in his chair, staring at the sleeping princess."So, she's from your world too, huh? That's a crazy coincidence." Zack said, his arms crossed as he stood in the room for a few moments to check in. "It's a good thing you got to her in time." Ephraim responded with a nod, his eyes not leaving L'Arachel's face. He would rather not think about what may have happened had he waited for the Highwind to land, or worse, hadn't seen her at all. "That was a pretty crazy stunt you pulled, but hey, I'd probably do something similar in your shoes." Had Aerith been the one down there... yeah, he could definitely understand Ephraim's choice. "After all, you two must be...""...?" For the first time in several minutes, Ephraim's eyes peeled off L'Arachel's--sitting there watching her as though she may vanish away had he taken his eyes away for even a moment--and turned his attention to Zack. "Must be... what?""...Eh... I mean... I don't think you'd risk breaking your legs or worse for just anyone?" One could practically see the question marks floating around Ephraim's head as he looked at the former SOLDIER. "...Never mind." He had a feeling Ephraim had a few similarities to Cloud... "...Anyway, uh, I think someone's making some food, you want to come?""I'll pass," Ephraim said certainly, turning his attention back to L'Arachel. "I'll wait until she awakes.""...You're sure determined, huh." Zack shrugged. "All right." He turned, starting to leave."Is Alisa all right?""...I don't know much about that. I think that pink-haired girl got back a few minutes ago if you want to ask her.""..." His gaze turned back to L'Arachel. "It can wait." He was worried for Alisa, and for Phoenix, though the latter wasn't the one in rough shape. Even so, if something happened that demanded his attention, he was sure he would hear about it. Otherwise, he would learn about her safety in due time. For now... he wanted to sit here and ensure L'Arachel felt comfortable upon her awakening. Waking up in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar world with no one around may be alarming... ...His exhaustion and injuries, though they had closed, were catching up to him, though. It was still the same day he went through so many battles, including one with an alleged Goddess of War. Though his need to rescue L'Arachel filled his body with adrenaline, sitting here, in this calm room, was draining that adrenaline, needless to say. He was feeling very tired... he... needed to stay awake for L'Arachel's sake. ...but he was.... so tired... and his body felt the need to rest even more thanks to his wounds."..." His head drooped to one side slightly, before he lifted it again. ....Then it drooped again.... and he caught himself again. ...And a third time, he nearly fell out of his chair before awakening with a start. "!" ...Needless to say, this was not something Ephraim oft experienced. "..." It wasn't much longer until he put his arms down on the bed, laying his head down atop them. He was just resting his head. He wasn't going to fall asleep. He needed to stay awake. He needed to make sure he could explain everything when L'Arachel awoke. He had to stay awake. "......." A few minutes later, the king's eyes were closed, and his breathing slowed into a relaxed rhythm, as his body was finally granted its severe demand for rest. Sitting there in a chair, leaned forward his head down on his arms which were on her bed. Probably not as comfortable as the body would have ideally desired, but it wasn't going to be picky. "........." At last, the king slept.Coming back down the stairs, Zack's head turned around to scan the room. "Hey, where's Aerith?""She said she was going to check the flowers at the church," Cloud said, sitting on a sofa with his arms crossed. "If Ephraim wasn't preoccupied and Phoenix was here, I'm sure they would've stalked her again." He muttered that part mostly to himself."Of course she did," Zack said with mild amusement. "You think it's fine if I follow her? I mean, is it fine for me to walk around Midgar again?""...I think so." Cloud responded after a moment's thought. "Shinra is mostly in disarray. I haven't seen an infantryman or SOLDIER patrolling the city at all in the last few months. Even though you were well-known in Shinra, I don't think there should be any issue.""That's good... though I was probably gonna do it anyway." Giving those in the room a wave, he took off out the door, running in typical Zack style. "See y'all later!" (( OOC: ))

L'Arachel's hand moved along the bed, finding it's way around the arm alongside of her, and she scooted her body a little closer, cuddling close against the the arm, until her head came to rest over the chest of a warm body. She was still half-asleep, unaware of what she was doing, and even more unaware of the fact that the person she was now so snuggled up to, was Ephraim. He DID fall asleep on that chair, though. How ever did he end up on the bed, next to her and still remained asleep himself? "Heh, you can thank me later. You adorable little love-birds! " Cosmos grinned, placing her hands over her hips with the most satisfied look she could ever wear, as though she did the best thing ever! Not only did she completely cure L'Arachel and restore all of her energy, but helped to heal and restore Ephraim's as well. Then, while he slept so cutely and uncomfortably, she moved him over into the bed with a little telekinesis to help, while making sure he remained asleep in the process. Then, she simply, casually, appeared in the living room. Sitting in Cloud's lap, with her arms around him. "Hello, cutie.." She grinned at him. "You seem so very bored, Would you like my devine company? " Had he tried to push her off him, he would come to realize she couldn't budge, not even a little. It was as though he were as weak as a flea, he wasn't getting rid of her until she wanted to go!

We have community, friendship, love... We have all the virtues of humanity. That is our weapon. That is our strength. Is everyone ready? We're going to win." Ephraim wasn't exactly a very light sleeper--he couldn't afford to be when they were at war. Especially when he had been in enemy territory with less than a handful of men. It was necessary to be able to get up and move at a moment's notice. So his body moving at all, even by weightless telekinesis, caused him to begin to stir. And Cosmos's rather loud boasting very easily forced him awake, bur by then, it was far too late. L'Arachel had already attached herself to him, with her head against his chest. He froze in clear discomfort. He already wasn't used to physical contact outside of Eirika, but laying in bed with a woman?...Completely clothed? How scandalous! And that it was L'Arachel... he knew this would not end well. If it were, say, Tana, she likely wouldn't have minded too much. But he knew all-too well how misunderstandings went with L'Arachel. But what could he do? If he moved too much, he risked waking her up. The attractive pose and satisfied expression on Cosmos before she vanished was something he certainly noticed, too, and that didn't help matters. That stupid goddess did this? ...Regardless, he had to at least try to move. And try he did. With L'Arachel being cuddled so closely against his arm, though, and, well... L'Arachel's body wasn't exactly underdeveloped... so that movement sent a certain sensation through him, which caused his face to color even more than it already had, and him to freeze yet again. ...Yep, he was dead. He was going to die here, in this foreign world, at the hands of the cute Troubadour he saved, over a misunderstanding that he actually didn't cause this time. "Forgive me, Eirika..." he muttered to himself, sounding as though he were saying his final words. Because he was! He was literally going to die! The question is, could this situation somehow get worse before she woke up? Probably not. She was already attached to him in such a way. So at least there was that. ...Right?"..." Cloud's eyes lowered into a rather irritated stare. "Not interested." He responded flatly, indeed attempting to shove her off his lap. She was a goddess, allegedly, she could handle it. ...But of course, he failed. "Don't you have someone else you can bother?" Things used to be so quiet until these supernatural beings started showing up! (( OOC: ))

A soft, faint little pouting noise came from the sleepy green-haired one, each time he attempted to move, it would only end up in her pulling him even closer, and her trying to bring her body closer to his, as if he were a very large, soft, cuddly and warm pillow. "Ephraim.." He would hear her say, though with how soft-spoken and slow she spoke, it was clear she was actually still asleep, asleep...and..dreaming of him? "I want to stay with you..." Could she be talking about here, in some subconscious deep sleep, or was her words directed to the hardships of their kingdoms, having their duty's to lead thier own kingdom, and left with the one terrible thing, not being able to see each other as much as she would have liked, and that reflected in her dreams when she unknowingly talked in her sleep. ...And that was it, as those pretty lime-green eyes opened slowly. They opened...to see the teal-haired king laying there, directly beside her. But...what? Her arms were quite tightly wrapped around Ephraim, leaving him little to no escape, it was even very obvious to her eyes, that SHE was the one holding him, but that didn't stop her instant freak-out reaction, as she would shove him off the side of the bed with all her might, while at the same time, pulling up the cover over her, and throwing it at him. Next, was the highly dangerous pillow of absolute doom. It was chucked right off that bed, and thrown at high speed for the poor, innocent king! "Pervert! Devil! W-What did you think you were doing?! " Cosmos smiled proudly, crossing her legs as she remained there on Clouds lap. "Oh, our love birds have awakened...Don't they sound just adorable?!" Her arms remained around his shoulders, showing no interest in getting off her comfy chair! "You should be honored, it isn't everyday one as wonderful as myself chooses a tiny peasant like you, to be her chair.." "Cosmos, will you stop? What exactly have you done to help anyone? Not a thing. Cloud only saved his world, and continues to fight for it with all he has, and he does it without Devine powers! So, if anyone is the peasant here...it's you. Now go away. " Oh Cosmos, she was so loved!

We're going to win." Ephraim stiffened a bit as she said his name, had she already woken up? ...But then came her next words. "What?..." That hadn't been the reaction he expected, and... rightly so, it seemed, as he realized she was still dreaming. ...But wait, was she dreaming... about him? She wanted to stay with him? What did she mean by that...? ...Well, she was dreaming, after all. Wasn't she? So, he shouldn't jump to any conclusions based on that. He was sure he had had some bizarre dreams in his time, too. Regardless... it did make his heart pick up a bit. ...But not as much as the fluttering of her eyelashes as they finally began to open. ...Her eyes were so pretty, and the eyelashes- now wasn't the time! "I-I can exp-! Gah!" And then came a thud, as the king slammed onto the floor of the bedroom. Yeah, he expected that one. "Wai-" he started to get up, only to be floored again as the blanket was thrown onto him. "Ughh...!" He quickly threw them off, getting to his feet. "J-just let me-!" And then the terrifying pillow bounced off his head. "..." Well, that didn't hurt at all. But Ephraim was good at thinking on his feet. Or in this case, off his feet, as he let out a defeated sigh, dropping down onto his back on the bedroom floor. And there he laid, looking utterly defeated and too dazed to stand for several more moments. This was, of course, an act. He thought if she believed she had "defeated" him with the terrifying pillow-strike maneuver, she could feel as though she were taking control of the situation by winning against him, thus it would help her calm down and relax. No need to panic when the "aggressor" here was so utterly defeated after all, right? Then, after she felt comfortable "in control," he could explain the situation. ...By explaining a goddess had forced him into bed with her. ...Maybe he should've just pretended to be knocked unconscious instead."...Ugh." As she crossed her legs, Cloud's head quickly turned away. He would have to be blind not to notice how appealing her body was, and doing things like that only magnified the situation. But he had no intention of just becoming a blushing mess. That was exactly what she wanted, and he didn't play into anyone's hands. "Go find someone who cares.""Actually," And there was Nero, appearing beside Azura, his arms crossed. "Cosmos has done quite a bit. I mean, I did most of it, of course, but if she and I hadn't joined the worlds, this world and Serenity would've been torn to piece colliding with each other. You, and everyone you know and love, would be dust right now. So really, instead of insulting her, you should probably be down on your knees thanking her. Kissing her feet, worshipping her, offering gifts... you know, typical things you do for gods." For as much as these two bickered, they ALWAYS seemed to be the first ones to jump to the defense of each other. Being the only two Serenitian gods left after thousands of years, they really only had each other as "friends," and their bond was close. Cosmos became enraged after Phoenix hurt Nero, and Nero had grown rather irritated sitting in Apotheosis and listening to these mortals insult her. "Sure, she may horrifically ugly on the outside AND have an atrocious personality, but she's done more good than you idiots know." There was just so much love between these two! She had also done some pretty bad stuff, as had he. The war between the gods was... not a pretty time. (( OOC: ))

As her last oh-so dangerous weapon was thrown, and knocked Ephraim flat on his back, L'Arachel slipped herself off the bed with haste, hurrying herself around it to peer down at the 'defeated' king, laying there. "...Ah..haha..! That's only a warning! I will thoroughly make sure you don't stand a chance next time! " She stood there, a hand on her hip with the most confidant smile. Did she really believe she truly put him there? ...it sure seemed that way. It also came to her attention, just after she was nearly calmed down, that he didn't really learn his lesson yet. "Goddess....?! Y-You will say anything...to get close to me! " There went the last pillow, thrown directly for his face! "....." Azura shot Nero a look, but...after seeing what he did to Phoenix, well, she didn't have much intentions to have that happen to her too. These two....how did they ever acquire such status? They were far from kind or responsible. Using their powers irresponsibly, it was as though they were two children with far to much power then they needed!Cosmos finally got herself off of the ever so boring blond, as she walked over to where Nero was now standing. "Aren't you the sweetest. " Cosmos grinned at him, totally ignoring the insults thrown at her, though, it was Cosmos, it was a wonder if she even really caught them at all, and only heard what she wanted to!

We're going to win." "R-right..." Ephraim said, laying there to continue to make it seem as though he were so very defeated. How did he know this would work? L'Arachel was quite the eccentric girl. Her standing there, a hand on her hip, and that familiar, confident smile on her features, though--he certainly couldn't deny that she was cute. Just as it had been before. ...And more so than anything, he was just glad she was doing okay after what had happened. ...After explaining the thing she obviously wouldn't believe, though, he was unsurprised by the response he received, in another devastating pillow-blow. He really wasn't gonna survive many more of these! "Ugh... I surrender already, L'Arachel." He didn't pick fights he couldn't win, and this was obviously a losing battle. Time to cut his losses. He began to sit up, and as he did, he considered telling her the entire truth--that he had seen her in a bad situation and had leaped to her rescue with reckless abandon, and he had brought her back to the base of operations of an organization he was now a part of in this other world apart from Magvel. That sounded like a lot to frontload her with, though. And it would take a lot of explaining, plus she was unlikely to believe it all upfront. You know what wouldn't take a lot of explaining, and she probably would believe? Lying! "Fine, I admit it! I forced myself into your bed in the dead of night with malicious intent. I was moments away from... doing whatever it was that I had planned, which was probably nothing good, when you awoke and foiled those plans. Are you happy now?" Literally nothing about that explanation made any sense when put under even a tiny microscope, but it would validate her beliefs that he was a perverted devil, so she would probably believe it. Plus, it was just much easier to say that right now than try to argue with her the logistics of what the actual truth was. Once they left the room, she would understand it all well enough. He wasn't one to do something like this, but, well, L'Arachel brought out a unique side of him, just as he did for her. Their relationship was quite the odd one, but it was very cute, and it was built on a solid foundation of deep trust they had created during the war. L'Arachel was the only one he was willing to speak to about a lot of the things that troubled him at that time--especially in regards to Lyon. (( OOC: ))

Kaden "...It's much too hot around here..." Came a weary voice as an armored older teenager with silver hair descended the stairs, rubbing his eyes. ....It was not very hot around here. In fact, to a lot of people, it may seem chilly. But to someone who was used to below zero temperatures year-round, this was way warmer than he preferred. This was one of the ones who had been unconscious with the initial group at the Tear, and in all the excitement at the time, it was unlikely any had actually identified him, but he was also a Serenitian royal. How many of those were there at this point? "If you're all kidnappers, you're not very good at it..." Shouldn't he be tied up or something? "Oh, hello, Azura. I guess this place is safe if you're here." He gave her a friendly wave, as he joined the group in the living room. Cloud just sighed. How many ludicrously-dressed renaissance people was he going to have to meet before this whole ordeal was over? "Hello, I'm-""Some prince. Yeah, heard it before." Cloud said in typical Cloud fashion, picking up his bottle of water and drinking from it."...Er... sorry if I offended." What was his problem? "...Oh! Are you two-""The Serenitian gods, yes. It's okay to be impressed.""Ah, it's an honor to meet you both. I'm Kaden, the firstborn Prince of the Frozen-""We know who you are. We're gods.""...R-right. Sorry." Nobody wanted to hear his introduction, did they?"Oh, I heard that thought of yours, fish. Children, huh? Might as well live up to that. Think fast!" Suddenly, Cloud's water bottle just exploded, and the water from it went flying at Azura. Yeah, even her thoughts were not a safe space around these two, it seemed."!" Kaden threw up his arm, freezing all of the water almost instantly right before any of it got on Azura, thus saving her from an unfortunate transformation. He then manipulated the frozen mass of water, pulling it into his hand. "...Whew! That was close! I wouldn't... want your outfit to get wet.""How boring." Nero yawned. "You're not gonna try to seduce this one too, are you?" He asked Cosmos blankly, referring to Kaden. "He's the most boring one of the bunch so far.""......" Cloud sighed. "I guess I'll go get another water bottle, then." He said, sounding incredibly put-out as he stood and made his way into the kitchen."I guess I'll go get another water bottle, then!" Nero mocked in a very unflattering tone. Yes, clearly, these two gods were not childish at all!"...A-anyway, hey, watch this." He closed his hands around the ice in his hands, and when he opened them again, it was a perfect sphere, with three indents in the side facing the other three in the room. Two eyes, and a mouth. "It's a pleasure! What's your name?" The indent that was meant to be the mouth began to speak, as Kaden's mouth barely moved, but it was clear he was the one producing the voice--though it sounded very distinct from his typical voice. "Frozty! Happy birthday!" Kaden smiled. "Ahaha, that's great. I should find you a tophat to celebrate!" "Boo, get to the sex scene already." Nero said, shoveling handfuls of popcorn into his mouth. ...When did he get popcorn, again? "Want some?" He offered them to Azura, but barely gave her a chance to react before offering some to Cosmos. "How about you?""Th-the what...?" Kaden blinked, shocked at the rather improper word choice. "Frozty's" eye indents widened, as if in shock. "Aha, that's... funny..." He rubbed the back of his head. "I-I guess it's not much of a trick. I used to do that to get Teresa to stop crying when a character died in the stories she likes to read..." He became good at ventriloquism in the process. He typically used snowmen for it, but he could manipulate ice just as well, so it worked just fine. (( OOC: ))
