Ember who had been curled up on the couch staring at the ground called out "Come In!"

The door opened and a familiar, figure with tri-colored hair entered. "Hello, Ember." Atem said with a slight sigh. "I hope you don't mind my intrusion..."

Ember sat up with a sigh "No I dont mind" she said.Her voice was blank and you couldent tell how she was feeling.

Atem looked down at the ground, as though ashamed of himself. "Kawi really made me think..." He started, rubbing his cheek. How could he not have thought, after that painful slap? "And I wanted to say that I was sorry. I guess part of me was still upset when you had been upset about me trying to destroy Bakura. And suddenly Ishizu was there, and I guess I wasn't thinking properly..."

Ember looked to atem.She seemed hurt "Oh you wernt thinking?!What a way to put it..." she sighed holding back to tears "You don't understand how you made me feel..."

"I never implied anything like that!" Atem exclaimed, looking alarmed at the thought. "Ember, I respect you and would never think of you like that!" There was a slight cough from the doorway. Bakura leaned against the door frame, looking rather disheveled. Bakura looked over at Ember, who he noticed was on the verge of tears. "Is he bothering you any?"
