The Reaper holding onto Lily, would feel a painful sensation around his hand as she Layla stepped up behind him and grabbed a hold of it, twisting it painfully, with enough force to break his hand. His other wrist was grabbed next, and her foot would come up to kick him harshly in the gut, sending him flying back....through the wall that lead into the kitchen. Of course, she wasn't about to give him the time to get back up and try to put a stop to her, about the moment he was already attempting to stand, he would be kicked again, only to strike the hard stone wall this time. Again, she was right back to his side, only this time grabbing the back of his hair and pulling it back roughly. "How much does your queen really care about you, her precious Reaper? Or your other Reaper family. Shall we see just how much they care about you? " He would feel the cold steel of a knife against his throat... She wanted to see what the other Reapers in the mansion currently, would do. How close were they really? "How much do you want to see his blood spilled? Should you not leave....I will put a swift end to him. And then I will come for the rest of you.." She was a brave one, that was for sure.

Velora "C-Cassius!" Lyla got to her feet quickly, walking towards Layla for a second, before stopping, looking uncertain. "L-let him go! We haven't even hurt your people! What is wrong with you?!" It was true, the only ones who had technically been violent were the residents here. And now she was threatening to kill him. "Help me! I want to save him!""Ugh, you embarrass us, and now you want our help? Stupid dog." The other Reapers in the room seemed a bit too preoccupied with their image to help attempt a rescue--plus they seemed resentful towards Lyla now."B-but..." She sniffed, tears beginning to run down her cheeks. "But he'll die...!!" She shook her head quickly, before lowering it. "Please, just k-kill me if you have to kill anyone! I-I'm the failure here..." Poor Lyla, she was really trying her best, and she didn't want anyone getting hurt. Even with how she had been teasing Lily earlier, that was just her trying to play and being bad at it. She genuinely didn't want anyone to be hurt.Layla would, however, feel a hand clench around her wrist that held the knife, crushing down on the pressure points with an alarming amount of strength. "Hello again..." She said through gritted teeth, as she showed Layla a very, very angry smile. They had fought once before--it was hard for her to forget a girl with such a fantastic body."Q-Queen Velora!"""You don't get to die today, Lyla. Let me take over for you." She raised Layla's arm up with her grip. "Have you gotten any stronger? Last time, Luella had to bail you out with her power. She's not here this time, I'm afraid." She reared her head back, bashing her skull against Layla's, and again, and again, three times with painful force, before shoving her down onto the ground. She wasted no time in planting herself on top of the brawler, straddling her and beginning to punch her in the face, over, and over, and over, relentlessly, until she at last stood, grabbing her by the arm and flinging her across the kitchen, which would send her straight through the wall and allow her to collapse on the other side. Velora brushed her arms together. "Someone handle her." She said, meaning to put her into stasis, before she turned around. In an instant, she was in front of Lily, reaching down to lift her up by the nape of her neck. "Listen here you little fleabag," she said through gritted teeth, her usually pleasant demeanor apparently out the window right now. "I don't give a flying ******** if you hate my mother for what she did to your father, oh boo hoo, you have a cute little sister who your daddy loves more than you. You can blame all of us for that if you'd like, but maybe the problem is that you're a terrible annoying shitty little daughter. Maybe you should look into a ******** mirror before you throw blame onto an entire race who, collectively, have done nearly nothing to you. You can be senselessly racist all you want, but the moment you hurt and embarrass one of mine, you will SORELY regret it. Your bigotry and racism wasn't justified before, but now it can be. You're welcome." And wasting no time, she slammed the wolf's skull into the wall, before hurling her with all her strength straight to a window, which would cause it to shatter and allow the wolf to clatter to the ground along with the broken glass."It's about time you got here," the exasperated Reaper complained. "Why'd you put us on the same team as that stupid wolf girl? She's been nothing but a humilia-?!" She was shut up promptly as she felt a hand grip her throat tightly."Did you think my anger came from that human? That racist Serenitian? Ahaha... that's cute." She lifted her, slamming her back against the wall. "You disgust me so much more than them.""Let me g-! AAH!" She felt herself slam against the wall two more times, creating a sizable hole in the wall where she was being slammed."Intolerant humans are to be expected, racist Serenitian is like saying striped zebra, but you? BUT YOU?" She was literally shaking with anger. "Lyla, dear, what was it I drilled into all of you more than anything else while we were planning this little invasion?""U-um, y-you don't have to be mad, I'm not... mad at them for..." The look Velora gave her caused her to stop talking very quickly. Velora was trying SO hard not to look angry towards Lyla, but she was so enraged it was impossible. "Um, above all, even above success, support each other. Don't turn your back on the one to your left, or the one to your right.""Ahh, that's a good girl," she smiled sweetly at the Reaper before her--a sweet smile full of rage. One could literally hear how tight her grip was becoming on the Reaper's throat. "I guess some people know how to listen," she said through gritted teeth. "Unlike some others.""P-please... I'm s-sorry...." she said, her words choked out as she sounded on the brink of unconsciousness."Well, so am I. I have no use for someone who would just stand and laugh at her comrade." The Reaper was beginning to stiffen due to how tight the hold was on her throat. Velora was about to literally rip out her throat."S-stop! Please!" Lyla dropped down to her knees. "Please! Reprimand me if you have to, but please! I don't want anyone to be hurt! P-please, my queen..." It would be even worse knowing that it was her fault that someone had died."........" A loud, desperate gasp came from the Reaper as she was released, falling to the floor. "Look at that. The "useless" Reaper you were berating moments ago just saved your life. You're lucky she's so merciful, because I'm not." She said, her expression one of utter disdain."Th-thank you, Lyla. I'm so sorry... oh god, I'm so sorry... thank you... I-I can't.... I... thank you...""All three of you go to the dungeon. Now. Lock yourselves up. I'll decide what to do about you later." They weren't about to argue after THAT--their lives were spared by an incredibly thin thread, namely Velora's decision to listen to Lyla's pleas of mercy. They nodded hastily, vanishing from the mansion and returning to the Reapers' Realm to comply with their orders. Velora turned to Lyla, her expression visibly softening. "Oh, Lyla, stand up you drama queen." She smiled, patting her on the head as the wolf girl stood. "You're too nice for your own good. And too cute to ignore.""Ehehe... I-I just... I don't think killing each other will get us anywhere, a-and I don't want us to kill the humans or Serenitians either... I know they hate us, but... well, I believe in what you're always saying! We're just mislabeled because of people like your stinky mom. I think killing people would just make things worse, you know? I think extending our arms in kindness would be the best way to show our true nature!" She beamed, believing genuinely in what she was saying. She had a pure view of the world, though it was sadly naive. The hatred from people like Lily certainly wouldn't just disappear with some sweet words--not to mention deep-rooted hatred like that of the Forest Serenitians."I'm sure they'll understand someday," she hoped so, at least... "Maybe you should be the Reaper mascot. No one could hate us with a cute face like yours to represent us." She grinned."Hey! I'm not cute! I'm cool! You think I'm cool, right?"Velora grinned, pinching her cheek. "The coolest Reaper there is~"Lyla pouted as her cheek was helpless to resist the insufferable pinching. "For some reason, I don't believe you..." Poor Lyla..."It's felt nice to stretch my legs, but now I fear I must return to that stuffy command center. The invasion is almost complete, but I need to oversee the final phases. I trust you can all handle things from here. So long~" She winked, her form dissipating as she returned to the Reapers' Realm. "Hey! Are you alright?? " Rinoa began to lower a little, resting a hand over Layla's shoulder in concern. She really took some terrible damage. She was no super-powered Serenitian, or demon. She was still just a human girl, punches on the level that she received, by that of a super-powered Reaper, weren't just like little slaps. It was impressive she was even still conscious. Before Rinoa completely would get the chance to kneel at her side, though, a surprising swing of Layla's hand made her jump back suddenly, causing her to stumble back into the nightstand behind her. ..So Layla's fate was to be defeated by a Reaper, and Rinoa's fate was to be defeated by a nightstand. Yes, these were good times. Cringing a bit, she had to bite her lip to keep herself from pouting. Layla went through far worse, but falling on her backside after hitting into the back of a wooden stand hurt too!! "...I....I was just concerned! " She managed to yell out in the process of getting back to her feet! "You didn't have to be so mean about it!" "Then go cry. I can see you want to! Did anyone ever tell you how very annoying you are? Just leave me alone. I don't need anyone's help! " One little thing not well known of those around her, when Layla experienced humiliation and defeat, her mood was something NO one wanted to be around. And right now, it was far worse then it ever had been. Her face was nothing pretty, ether, she was pretty bloody. Something about getting punched over and over again in the face had a tendency of causing one to bleed..a lot. "I have a Reaper to destroy. Out of my way.." Before anything else could be said, Layla stormed her way out of the mansion, the door slamming shut as she left. "...What a meanie..!!" She thought to herself, before turning away...there were other people to check in on. Hopefully they wouldn't try to kill her too...Though she did kind of want to follow Layla too, rage like that could end up getting her killed. Did she really mean to go after Velora or was it some kind of rage bluff?

Squall Leonhart"I'm not gonna die here. After all... I've got a promise to keep." A man with a scar on his face would bar Layla's path for a moment, before she could fully exit the mansion. He gave her a look--a look that very clearly conveyed "watch yourself." "Be more careful next time." He said rather forcefully. It seemed clear he wanted to say more, but he refrained, and a moment later, he stepped past her, disregarding her and allowing her to return to what she was doing. He was far from okay with anyone treating Rinoa like that--or anyone he cared about, for that matter--but he didn't come here to start a fight in the mansion. Much less one with someone who looked remarkably like Tifa, which may end up in him and Rinoa getting forbidden from returning. Continuing on his way to the fallen "princess," crossing his arms and glancing away for a moment. (You could just stand up on your own...) he thought to himself. (...Is this why she always gives me an earful about "boyfriend behavior"?) He tilted his head for a moment, before looking back to her. He finally reached out a hand, to help her to her feet. "...You okay?" He asked at last. Finally, some concern! Obviously she was, or he wouldn't have just let Layla walk away scot-free, but he figured it was only natural to ask. He looked around after he helped her to her feet. "...Is Sylvanas here?" That was the main reason he came--after she apparently disappeared, he assumed she just came here. Ironic considering where she actually was... (( OOC: ))

Rinoa's cheeks puffed out a bit in her little moment of terrifying rage, would she possibly die if she threw a piece of broken chair at her? ..Probably. She would refrain from such childish actions for now! She sat there a moment longer, though, after that embarrassing fall she didn't feel the urge to so quickly get back up. Well, that was until her knight decided to make his way over to her, and her cheeks reddened slightly. Of course he would see that! She glanced up at him, noting his silence as he stood there. Something must of been on his mind again, whatever was it this time? It was always easy for her to see when he was thinking about something, he looked so cute so heavily in thought like that. When he finally reached out his hand, Rinoa didn't hesitate as she took hold of it to get back to her feet. Maybe she should think Layla now? Any moment that allowed her to get extra close to her broody Squallie was a great moment for her! "..I'm fine! ..Thanks, Squall.." At his question, she shook her head softly. "No, I haven't seen her anywhere in the mansion. " Midgar was a huge city, she really could be anywhere. Ren didn't exactly wander the whole city, she was afraid of her own shadow when it came to the city and the knowledge of monsters roaming free did well to keep her close to the safe zones of Midgar like the mansion, church and playground. So they couldn't really count on her words for certain that she disappeared from the city..

Squall Leonhart"I'm not gonna die here. After all... I've got a promise to keep." (Thanks for what? I didn't do anything.) Squall thought to himself, as in his own head as ever. He never could seem to stop thinking and just be in a moment, aside from some very rare occasions. If anything, shouldn't she be bothered he didn't do more? Or that he took too long? Oh, well... "I see..." He crossed his arms again. (So if she's not here, she's probably somewhere else in Midgar. I don't think she'd leave with Ren here. Though it's possible something took her away, but why would they? It's not like she's strong...) He shook his head. This didn't make much sense. "The invasion is over. Did anyone get taken away during it?""Pretty sure everyone is accounted for," Jake chimed in.(If that's true, then she should still be around here...) It was the only thing that made sense--if she could control it, there was no reason to assume she'd leave, especially with Ren here. "She's most likely still in the city. If not, she'd probably come here as soon as she could. I'm gonna go and look for her." Maybe she was out there unconscious somewhere. Nodding to Rinoa, he turned and began to make his way towards the door again. (( OOC: ))

It was times like these, the most inappropriate times that Rinoa found herself wanting to playfully tease him, but given the circumstances of everything that has happened and was still on-going, that playful side of her would have to be put on hold. "Then i'm coming with you! " What else did he expect, her to sit by and do nothing? She was her daughter, of course she would want to search too! "I will wait for Sylvie to come back! " Ren said, waving a little goodbye to her parents. "If she comes back, I can call you, okay? " Of course what child wasn't without a cellphone these days, more so for to keep in contact for such situations, especially if something happened. Before Squall and Rinoa would completely exit through the doors, Terra held up her hand in a wait gesture. "Would you like me to look around as well? I can cover far more ground from the sky. " Even if they didn't really need her help, she really did want to be of some assistance, Midgar wasn't exactly the safest city in the world, and she knew Sylvanas enough to know if anything did happen, she wasn't exactly capable of protecting herself. In the process, she could also look for others that might need help..

Aiko scooped her hands down into the large pumpkin she was going to be decorating when she paused the moment her hands got a good two handfuls of pumpkin guts. Almost immediately the pink terror was plotting her doom upon the world. It wasn't quite Halloween yet, but the mood was there. It was so close to the day, that why not? Slowly moving her hands up and out of the pumpkin she hopped carefully down from the chair she used to boost herself up a little. Beginning to creep her way quietly through the door that lead into the mansion, it was there that she took a moment to glance at who was in the living room. It was...pretty full. Tina stood out the most, with her prissy self laid like a queen on the sofa as though it were her own, Terra was sitting on a love seat snuggling a very embarrassed Nanaki, Ariel sneaking a few pets in as well, others were just enjoying the television or reading. Her shortness might help her in being extra sneaky and undetected as she started to creep toward the back of the sofa where Tina so comfortably sat. In seconds, she was behind the oblivious blond and before she would notice her, Aiko threw up her hands into the air, launching the pumpkin guts all over her! "Trick! " She yelled with a amused giggle, before turning and running back into the kitchen to arm herself with more should anyone follow her inside...
Instead of hearing possible laughter, she heard a lot of angry sounds coming from the newly enraged teenager. Tricks or any kind of playful jokes didn't seem to sit well with the high maintenance Tina, instead of playfully chasing after her or trying to throw the remains of the pumpkin onto Aiko, she got completely angry instead! Aiko began to move toward the back door, frowning as she turned the handle and quickly made her way outside to escape what rage might come up on her. "....No one wants to play with me...there all dead..." She said to herself, hurrying away from the mansion. "I hate it here anyway! I'll find my own fun..." With a small sigh, Aiko took her leave. There were many other cities and towns in the world. One of them had to have someone she might be able to befriend....

It was once again, the time of decorating and raising spirits with each twinkling colorful light on the already set-up Christmas tree, and lighted garland across the massive fireplace, the windows and various area's that called for lights. The living area was very well decorated, despite it only being the few girls participating in the Christmas festivities. Even Yuffie was finding her own way to enjoy herself in the spirit of decorating.............her Conformer, that was. Yes, she was wrapping battery operated lights all around her killer weapon, the Conformer. It wasn't until Tifa and Aerith took notice of her strange decorating taste, that she paused to look at them. A small grin coming up as she caught their strange looks. "Yes? What you looking at?? Can't a girl just bring the cheer one slash at a time?? " Her grin widened. "Ah, I can see it now! They will be so mesmerized by the colorful lighting they won't even see it coming! " She paused again, as she finished up her 'work of art'. "Wow, doesn't it look nice?! I want to go test it out. Who wants to join me for some nice cheery hunting in the slums? " "That sounds dangerous..and not how I think you should spread 'cheer'! " Aerith said to her, but her words went in one ear and out the other, it seemed. "Danger is my game, of course! If no one wants to come with me, then i'll go by myself. Not like I need anyone, I'll put out every little monsters lights before they get a chance to touch me. See you then!" Yuffie was off before the girls could get another word out.

Cloud Strife"All right everyone, let's mosey." Opening the doors to the very, very massive mansion that Cloud had the misfortune of just purchasing ALL of, he led the group in to the fully furnished living area, letting out a sigh. "There go all my savings from our journey..." he muttered. "These off-worlders better be worth it." Stupid tear in the stupid sky. Things were just fine how they were! ...But it also meant Aerith and possibly Zack had come back, so... he supposed he went net positive. Just not monetarily... "It might not be as good as a king would prefer, but it's about the best we could do. This mansion is ours now, so from now on, anyone who comes here from another world can come and take a room as long as we have space." And they probably wouldn't run out anytime soon. There was a LOT of space here.."...Well, I've spent many nights at basic campsites, so I'm certainly not offended by the quality." That comment about "kings" had to be directed at Ephraim, after all. "I hope that we can resolve this soon, so I can return to Renais, but until then... I appreciate a place to stay. I'll do my share around here." Even when he led his own campaign during the war, he still helped out with setting up camp and the like. He didn't excuse himself from any tasks just because of his status, that was for certain."...We can all stay here too, if you want." He said, speaking now to the other three native to this world. "There's plenty of room." He was planning to stay here, at least, regardless if they did. After all that money he spent, he felt like he kinda had to. (( OOC: ))

This day was certainly one none of them would ever forget, but despite the grim part of it all, some light at least did come through. For so long she thought so many humans were completely heartless, taking everything for granted, taking lives without a thought, harming everything they came in contact with, but the people of this world certainly proved her very wrong. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty. Cloud's generosity was unheard of, spending something so important to him all for the sake of a bunch of people he only just met! "...Thank you..for this.." Azura said softly, directing her attention to Cloud. "I may have a way to help you build up what you've lost..I do have a particularly good gathering skill..I may be able to gather items those of this city may have interest in.." She didn't know much about currency, much less GIL, it would be a learning curve, for sure. "...Yes, please allow us to help out..I may not enjoy battling, but if there is anything I can do to help repay this kindness, I will gladly do it. Those monsters back there, I assume they aren't the only ones? ...Phoenix and I can help extinguish any that may be around these area's.." Unisha offered. She actually meant outside of Midgar, she had no idea there were actually random monsters inside the city too. That would be a surprise one day. "Whoa! Check this out guys..! " Yuffie's voice echoed through the massive mansion from another room down the hall. "It's a HUGE pool. Oh man, the pool parties waiting to happen here.." Was there a mission they needed to do still? She seemed to totally forget about anything other then that giant, nice looking pool INSIDE the mansion!

Cloud Strife"All right everyone, let's mosey." Cloud began to feel somewhat alarmed. Why were people thanking him? This wasn't normal. People usually insulted him. This was too weird. "Yeah, well... don't thank me yet." He said, crossing his arms. "I'm sure there's gonna be plenty of times for you all to help and repay me." He was not very good at taking praise, or thanks, or anything like that at all. "Besides, I didn't do this for any of you. I just did what I had to do. We'll need all the help we need in the days to come, apparently..." He glanced at Unisha, continuing to grow more uncomfortable with all this appreciation. Cloud was a bit of an odd one. "That's... just, settle in for now. We can all figure out the details later." One had to wonder how Cloud would ever manage if he became a husband and/or a father if just THIS level of kindness and appreciation made him feel uncomfortable. It wasn't that he hated it, but it was just so foreign to him. Thinking about it, the last time he had really embraced anyone was Tifa near the end of their journey, and before that... was probably his mother, when he was a child before leaving for Midgar. ...It was a bit sad, but it was what it was. Turning as Yuffie shouted at them, his face turned to a blank expression. "Stop your yelling! Get in here!" Now THIS was more like what he was familiar with."Those two seem really comfortable with each other," Alisa remarked about Cloud and Yuffie, leaning in a bit towards Tifa to speak softly to her and Aerith. "Are Cloud and Yuffie, like... you know...?" She just had to get the insider scoop. ...And of course, the one she asked just HAD to be Tifa. Cloud and Yuffie, that relationship wouldn't be dysfunctional at all!"I worry what constitutes romance in the Forest Kingdom," Ephraim said plainly. He may have been dense when it came to women, but he at least understood what Alisa was hinting at. ....Partly because he was actually wondering the same thing, and Alisa just happened to vocalize it. Those two DID seem really comfortable with each other, in a bizarre way. Cloud seemed more awkward towards the other two women he knew. ...Regardless, Ephraim was not one who could comment much on romance, yet this train of thought brought his mind to L'Arachel for some reason... Why was that? ...He hoped none of his comrades from his world would have to come to this world as well. Better they could enjoy the peace they won than be brought to a turbulent world of conflict. Tifa was so close to laughing, the amused look of her face as Cloud yelled at Yuffie was pretty clear. They did have an amusing, crazy little friendship, didn't they? Her attention was drawn to Alisa for a moment, as the elf princess seemed to to want to say something. Something her ears might not soon unhear. "..What?? ...No, no! Of course not! " She may of been a little louder then Alisa would have liked! Her own cheeks tinted a rather deep red in the process. "Yuffie is just a child..they would never..." She trailed off, her jealousy might be taking a trip for a real train wreck if she continued. "....! " Calling Yuffie a child was even more amusing, she was hardly a child! It just seemed to calm her nerves in a way, as long as she knew there was nothing else that could possibly...steal Cloud away before she ever got the chance to say anything! "Excuse me!? What are you, my father?! I don't even listen to my father. What makes you think I'm going to listen to you?! " Yuffie came storming out of the area she once was, right back to the living area with crossed arms, staring at Cloud like he was the devil himself! "Hmph...! " Unfortunately, not everyone in the room was as amused at the situation. In fact, she wasn't even listening to them at all. If they were going to settle for some time, she couldn't just sit around here. Each passing second felt like her heart was slowly breaking apart. "Zack...are you safe? ..Please hold on.." She glanced back to the front door, which she never actually completely left. Instead, remained close to it, clearly she had something else she wanted to do, and it didn't consist of getting cozy in this mansion. "This time..I will find you! " If only they were able to communicate like those Serenitian princesses, she would know exactly where to go. But for now, she would return back to the church. If he was alive, and possibly escaped his captors, he would come to the church. He had to. The others were pretty busy for now, it was best to leave them be, at least to give her enough time to thoroughly search the church, and any other area she thought he might be, like the playground. Closing the door behind her softly, Aerith set out for the church..
