I can see by your sig that you really want to know who the gifter was? I knew this girl who wanted to get rid of her Devil Tail, and now she doesn't have it anymore (she says she gave it away), but it couldn't be her (or I would be freaked out right now...). eek

That's the word I wanted. XD Thankies.
I remember trying to type up an art critique once and I could not for the life of me think of "groin." All I could come up with was "crotch" and I was going nuts because I knew there had to be something less crass. *hee*

I've been having embarrassing issues like that recently. I'll be trying to have a IRL conversation with someone and I completely forget incredibly common words or names. E.g. "I want to go to the, uh... thingie... over there, for uh... stuff... things..." (the words were "Tim Hortons" and "delicious coffee and Timbits" respectively).
Then I go on the internet and suddenly know too many words for my own good.

Sometimes I suspect that I spend too much time on Gaia. Like when I'm talking to my husband about world news and I say "users" instead of "people." XD

It is.
But she lives in... Buffalo, right?
Which is fairly near the border - when we go to Canada in the summer, we're able to stop in Buffalo and see relatives.
So I could understand some osmosis there.
Unless she just can't resist those Canadian doughnut thingies... which I'd be able to understand perfectly. *has a ridiculous craving for Berliners; can't do anything about it*
edit: Or she could just be in Canada. ._.; Right next to the border and all, heh.

I indeed live in Buffalo (with temporary residence in nearby North Tonawanda, NY), and finding a Tim Hortons is as easy as driving down the street in either direction for a few minutes. I think the Buffalo area has about 80 of them. The further you travel from Western New York, the less you see of them, unfortunately.
The founder of the chain, Tim Horton, was once a member of the Buffalo Sabres hockey team before he got drunk and made Timbits of himself on the QEW.
Still, visiting Ontario is no big deal for us (half of our family lives there, anyway). We were supposed to go to Toronto yesterday to goof off, but our trip was unfortunately canceled....
Happy Anniversary, Jen smile
