Dj jumped out of a SIV Portal. He got up and dusted himself off. "Hey guys, how's it going?"

"That's common around here any more as of late unfortunately." He sighed again, "Some coffee would be great around here." Another yawn wracked Arekku's features. "And some better junk food for the average artist."

Maddy wandered in through the teleporter, looking exhausted. She sat down on the couch instead of the ceiling. She didn't see anyone around, so she rested her head on the arm of the couch and let herself doze off a little.
"Zzzz..."

Arekku entered the Main room, again with his pages, they were mostly colored and quite well, though he'd never admit that to himself, it could be much better in his opinion. "But who am I to say?" He asked aloud to himself without meaning to.

Dj walked into HQ after a long day of work and saw Arekku and Maddy. Maddy was on the couch sleeping. Dj ran and jumped on the couch all while screaming, "Wake up!!"

"Huh? Someone calling out to me?" She muttered sleepily.

Dj moved abnormally close to Maddy to weird her out. "Hey there, how ya doing" he asked in a low voice.

"What's all this racket?" Valery entered the area whilst tapping her cane to get around. "Seriously, it's impossible to sleep nowadays..." She frowned as Becquerel ran from behind her and towards the couches.

Maddy looked right back into DJ's eyes. Her eyes went completely black, except for a little red slits as the pupils. She was attempting to creep him out or, better yet, scare him.
"Oh, I'm good. Just been sleeping all day."
She looked over at Valery, her eyes going back to normal.
"I guess it would be hard to sleep, with heightened hearing and all. I bet it must be useful at times though..."

"Well, yes. I can hear the cries of Pokemon swimming outside the base just now. Just not very well... I can also smell and taste very good. Super taste isn't particularly useful though." Valery responded just as she found a chair to sit on. Crossing her legs and playing with her cane, the girl whistled for Becquerel to come. The little Poochyena ran to her and barked with excitement. Seconds later, it was scooped up and placed onto his master's lap.

"I wish I had super taste... Nachos would taste soooo good."
She frowned with annoyance as her pocket buzzed. She took out her TADS and looked at the message on the screen.
"Warning, my kids are visiting soon. I guess it's about time you met them."

Raising an eyebrow in confusion, Valery asked a question that had already been answered. "You're a mother?" Maddy did not come off as the motherly type, and she sounded very young too. "Are you sure they will be okay with someone like me?" She questioned. The reason Valery had started wearing sunglasses in the first place was because children were frightened of her empty eyes.

"Yeah, I am. And I guess you can't really tell, but I'ma demon. And my kids are half-demon, half-Pokemon. I'm sure they'll be perfectly fine with you. Besides, we've seen worse I'm sure." Maddy explained.
She covered her mouth as she let out a yawn.
"Not saying you look bad or scary or anything, I'm just saying they'll be ok with you. Sorry, that sounds awkward. I'll shut up about that now."
Both the kids ran in through the teleporter.
"Hi, Mother." Matthias greeted his mother.
He made his way over to the couch and sat down to settle down and read the book that was in his clutches. He noticed Valery and looked at her, but didn't say anything. He was quite shy.
Alarice followed her brother.
"Is Memo here?! I want candy!!" She exclaimed, not even greeting anyone. She noticed Valery.
"Who's that?"
Maddy sighed.
"Kids, meet Valery. Valery, my son is Matthias and my daughter is Alarice."

Demon-Pokemon children? That was the weirdest thing Valery had ever heard. She still greeted the two with a smile and a gentle "Hello." Before continuing to pet Becquerel.

"Anyways, we should be off. I don't like it when the kids stay up late. Good night!" Maddy said.
She grabbed a hold of her kids and they disappeared.
