Loki could sense Bruce's gaze when he was soothing the twins but said nothing to the man about it. What the twins were displaying wasn't really a concerning thing for Loki. When Bruce said that he wanted to stay out of it as much as possible Loki nodded. He could understand the desire with not wanting to be involved in something so personal and complicated. None the less Loki was going to be sure to ask all the questions he could and would write it down as well so Bruce would have access to it should something happen to Tony or him with the bond. When Bruce went on to say that the bond could cause one or both of them to die Loki looked quite shocked. "When did they say that? I do not recall them saying anything about the bond killing us." Loki exclaimed more alarmed now than ever. It made a lot of sense why Tony had been so out of sorts when he had returned.

Bruce blinked at Loki when he seemed disturbed by his words. “That dinner where they explained that you were mates. They said that seperations or other similar strains could result in death if there was nowhere to turn your attention, like children. I guess they didn’t specify that it was the bond itself that caused such things, but I assumed it was the most likely culprit.” He said slowly, carefully taking off his glasses and starting to clean them with a shirt. “Of course I may be misremembering, but I would say it’s a pretty safe assumption considering the states both of you were in when you returned. If it weren’t for Fenrir and the twins during that period…well you know….” Replacing his glasses, he crossed his arms as he looked at Loki, head tilted. “Even if they had never mentioned it, I think we could assume some risk for both of you with what basics we know of the bond. Your minds and magics are both tied to the bond and eachother. The health of one is the health of both. Not unlike you and the twins at the moment.”

Loki definitely didn't remember his brothers having said thing about the bond and children being a holding to life for the bond. He didn't like knowing that the bond could cause such to his mate. He would definitely need to talk to his brothers from Jotunhiem to find out all he could about the bond. Bruce was right though with how they had been when he had returned, if it hadn't been for Fenrir and the twins within him he might not have survived with the doubts he had had about Tony's love for him at the time. He nodded numbly when Bruce continued to say that it didn't matter if they never mentioned it because things were bound to go wrong with how close the bond made them. With their minds and magic so closely twined Bruce was right that something was bound to go wrong and actually had by his suspiscions. "That's alot to think about..." Loki muttered.

Bruce frowned slightly at Loki’s reaction, he’d assumed that Loki had remembered, or he’d at least drawn such conclusions himself. But then again, he had been rather distracted. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to add to your worries right now.” He said quietly. “If it helps at all, it seems like you’re both improving and growing stronger, so there is no immediate danger to either of you to worry over….but down the road, it may be something you should put some thought into, not just when making decisions about how to handle things, but….” He shook his head, stopping himself. “No…let’s not even put that out there yet.” He muttered to himself as he straightend up a little, seeming to physically fend off whatever path his mind was trying to go down. “You don’t need to worry about anything right now…you’re here and you’re both patching things up. As long as we can keep Tony from blowing himself up in the lab, there will be plenty of time to sort all of this out later.” Looking at his watch, he sighed. “Are you going to come down to dinner or should I save some to be sent up to you after?”

Loki shook his head when Bruce apologized and said that he hadn't meant for the god to worry about it. He knew the doctor hadn't meant to bring more worries to Loki's mind but it had been done and now for the moment it was all he could think about. How if he had stayed away much longer what he might have done to Tony. "The bond has been solidified again as far as I can tell." Loki agreed when Bruce continued to say that they were both improving and growing stronger. "You mean when Tony grows close to the point where Midgardians tend to expire..." Loki muttered. It was a thought that had plagued him before, not knowing what he would do without Tony and now. Well now there was a chance he would die with Tony because of the bond unless they had children closer to too young to care for themselves Loki guessed. Surprising the thought of going with Tony if the man didn't accept the apple wasn't a scary thought for the god, it was even more a peaceful one knowing that they could be together after death. "If I don't come down Fenrir will worry." Loki responded though he didn't move, he wasn't really ready to leave Tony after being near him again.

Bruce considered Loki for a moment, surprised by how calm Loki was when referring to Tony’s future death. Though Bruce had to believe Tony would eventually accept an offer for immortality with Loki, at the moment, Tony was wholly human and attached to that notion. It would take time and effort to move him from that position, so at the moment, Tony would die well before Loki even began to look old, likely much earlier than most humans as well, considering his habits and the strains his body had been put through. ‘You have time to figure that out with him.” He said quietly. “It may never even be a concern for you.” Approaching Loki carefully, he stood beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Come on. You need to keep up your strength…and Tony isn’t going to be so much as moving for another few hours at least. I’m sure food and conversation will keep you entertained for a while…and Fenrir will do so if your friends cannot.” He smiled.

Loki nodded when Bruce said that he would have time to figure everything out with the genius and Loki hoped that was the case. He smiled with that same kind of hope when the doctor continued to say that it may never be a concern for him anyway. The hand on his shoulder brought him to move along with Bruce's words that he needed to keep his strength up. The man was right, he knew it but still he wanted to stay next to Tony. "JARVIS can you inform me when Tony wakes if I have not already returned?" the god questioned to the AI.

Bruce reached out to help Loki to his feet as JARVIS responded. “Yes sir. I will be sure to inform you.” The AI responded promptly. Bruce smiled slightly, shaking his head. “What would we do without JARVIS?” he joked, not expecting an answer, but JARVIS seemed to be in a mouthy mood. “Likely find yourselves in some state of injury and duress.” He said dryly, causing Bruce to blink and chuckle. “I wouldn’t disagree with that.” He said lightly.

Loki accepted the help knowing that it was getting harder to do so himself. "Thank you JARVIS." Loki thanked when the AI said that he would be sure to inform him if Tony woke before he returned. Loki smiled at Bruce's question about what they would do without JARVIS. In truth he didn't know what he would do without the AI at this point with as much as it had helped him. JARVIS' response had Loki chuckling. "I would not either," Loki replied when Bruce said he didn't disagree with the AI.

Bruce kept pace beside Loki as they left, not wanting to rush the god, but also wanting to ensure that he didn’t remain rooted in place beside Tony. “When he wakes up, you should try to keep him out of the lab for a little bit so he has a little more time to recover.” Bruce advised, crossing his arms as he walked. “And if Tony’s going to continue to pour all of his magic out in the lab in the future…I may have to ask for your help in understanding a little more about magic and its effects on the user so that I can know how to help Tony in the future. Perhaps you as well if you ever push yourself a little too far.” He continued, looking up to Loki out of the corner of his eyes. “And I imagine all of your children will fall into such a situation eventually.”

Alikia Tsuki ((No worries, taking care of yourself is always the first priority. Sorry to hear that you've been feeling bad though. But hopefully this will be that miracle sickness that means you won't get sick again this season lol.))
