After a few more moments, Laura finally picked up her victim and started heading back towards the mafia building. "What's the matter with me?" She thought. "Maybe I should go to the movies or do something with myself."

'What the heck?' Laura thought as she approached the mafia building. 'Strange. Someone must have reported the bar fight. Well, looks like I'm in deep s***' She sighed and continued walking. 'Well, there's always my old government pass... but... nah. That would be bad if they found out I was actually alive. Maybe they won't catch me.'

The police cars were coming fast. Some stopped at the bar. Some kept going.

"Ok... well, there's the entrance. There's the cops. Don't make any sudden moves... I need to divert them away from the building." She thought. She passed by the entrance. "Hey. Deliver this guy for me. My name's on the paper." She told the guy at the front. "Hey. You're Jamie right?" She asked.
"Yeah." He replied. "What's up Laura."
"You owe me a favor, right?" She asked.
"For the hook up? Yeah." He replied.
"Time for pay back. Deliver this guy for me. My name's on his wanted paper. I gotta divert the cops." She said, handing him the guy and the bounty. Jamie nodded and disappeared. Laura turned around and burst out into a run.

Four police vehicles stopped at the bar and some police officers got out to investigate. Three cars were going in the direction Laura was in.

Laura went to a slower pace and waited for the cars to come. "I'll pull the cutie act. And if that doesn't work... how hard can it be. There's only... three cars. So 6 tops."

The police cars pulled over and the officers got out. "Freeze!" a couple of them shouted, aiming guns at Laura.

"huh? What's going on officer?" She asked sweetly. She started to sweat like a little kid. Finally she went on her knees and started to cry. "I'm sorry I ran away from home. I promise I won't do it again. Honest! Please don't take me back there!"

"Yup, she fits the description in the report" one officer said.
"You're the one who started the bar fight. We heard it from the person who called" another officer said.

"Bar fight? But sir, I'm sixteen. I can't even get into a bar. But... there was a woman who passed by a few moments ago. She ran into the ally with this guy slinged over her shoulder. She had honey blond hair and she looked like she was about 21. She was really mean and smelled bad." Laura said a little stuck up. "She tried to steal my ribbon grandma gave me too. That's all I know. Please let me go officer. I don't wanna go home." Laura said, acting like she was breaking down and started to cry.

"Hmm...should we believe her?" one officer asked.
"I don't know..." another said.
"Do you have any identification on you?" a third officer asked Laura.
"Ahh...I see" Anthony said with a little smirk.

Laura sniffiled a little. "No... mommy wouldn't let me leave the house. She was really mean. There was this boy I liked, but he dumped me after I ran away. He said he only liked me cause mommy and daddy are rich, but they are so mean! They won't let me do anything! I'm so useless. No one believes me!" She said then started to cry at him again.
