Maru blinked when she spoke so loudly and excitedly, but more or less ignored the tone. He turned away from her, walking toward the direction of the hospital grounds. "Indeed, no harm at all...and I believe they mentioned that Siren was a she. After all, it *is* a woman's name...but let us go then, standing around talking about someone's sex isn't exactly going to help either of us." he slipped his hands into his pockets, walking off in a careful, almost fluid stride. His head began to move and nod in a rhythm almost as he began his walk. It was like he were reacting to the sound of some kind of beat in the air, or music playing.

Kat blinked as he started walking off, doing a slight jog to catch up with him and walking at the same pace, watching him out of the corner of her eyes as she felt her face flush from her silliness.
"My name's Kat by the way..." She spoke softly this time, making sure was saying the right thing at the right tone and keeping herself under controll as she turned her eyes to where they were going and their surroundings so she could take it in.
"I hate being new..." She muttered under her breath as she gazed around.
She played nervously still with the edge of her shirt with her left hand as her right hung loosely at her side with a tight grip around 'Siren's bag.

"Maru...my name is Maru Tangarian." he said softly, continuing in the same direction. When she mentioned being new, he simply shrugged as a response and kept his eyes forward. "Meh, being new doesn't mean a thing, reallly. It just means a new expriance, no reason to become tense about it. You're probably better off just relaxing and enjoying what you now have, something you did not have before." he commented, but still nodding his head in the rhythmical fashion.

Kat grumbled at that.
What do I have now that I didn't before? She thought angrilly but kept this to herself as she walked.
She hesitated a moment as she remembered her hat, digging her left hand into her shoulder bag she pulled the hat that looked much like a fishers hat and put it on so it covered up her hair, another thing to hide behind she thought it as.
She jogged to catch up with Maru and continued to walk at the same pace and bowed her head slightly so no-one could really make out much of her face.
The last thing she really needed was more unwanted attention though was thankfull for Maru's helpfulness and continued to walk silently.

Small crunches of grass come from the training hall. Fera comes around the corner and smiles. It was a beautiful day out. Her long black hair flew behind her back as a small wind blew across the courtyard. She let out a small sigh and continued over to the fountain where she sat down and ran her hand thought the water.

Susie nodded her head slowly and gave a small smirk, being slightly amused by this. To her magic came so easily. Of course, she had to work at it to come this far, but still it wasn't as difficult as one might think. But then again, you couldn't blame the centaur because he was never given that gift in the first place.
Her ears went flat on her head as she looked up at him once more, her blue eyes becoming a bit more pale for an unknown cause. Her five black fox tails, which had white tips at the ends, stopped wagging around in the water behind her. Her wings only rustled a few times, leaving a few loose feathers to fall down onto the surface of the water making it ripple slightly.
"Well, yes, it is true. There is a price to pay though.. Of course." Susie nodded her head once more and let out a small, sort of sorrowful sigh at this. But, it was soon backed up with a small smile. "I would be willing to perhaps.. Help you with this magic that you seem to so desire. If... you want? Perhaps?" Her head tilted to the side slightly and an eyebrow became cocked a little.

Taqune awoke his mid alive as he jumped from his tree in the center of the courtyard.Looking around seeing if any people were in sight then he began to talke a walk around the courtyard.His tail and eyes wondering aimlessly as he appeared to be searching for something.Taqune was calm with a smile on his lips,his loose worn shirt and hair waving into the wind.

Susie listened to his words carefully. She had already sensed that he was a very edgy and nervous sort of creature. He seemed unsettled about most things that were spoken. The noises he was making from his hooves on the cobblestone walkway was making her nervous as well, making it sound ilke he was getting angry.
"Ah, no no..." She shook her head and her hands as well infront of her hurriedly. She absolutely didn't want him to think that it would have an animal sacrifice or anything. It was infact something that she would have to sacrifice, like she had so many times before. Hell, it seemed like most of her life was all about sacrifice in reality. But, he didn't really know that now did he?
"Well, I would be the one having to take it's price. So, don't worry about anything alright? It's just a little something here and there.. No big deal..." Susie let out another soft sigh but shook her head once more, causing her amethyst hair to fall over her shoulders once more.
"Just tell me your answer, and i'll do what you wish. Though, one request... if I may?" She paused for a moment before speaking again. "May I please have your name?"

Nathalan had dreamed of magic when he was younger, asking all sorts of dead-end questions and even running away to find his nonexistent answers. Now it was offered to him and he could not take it. He knew he could't. He didn't dare. She said she would take the price, and he wasn't certain he believed her. She seemed hesitant. Even if it were true, he couldn't do it. She was a fairly nice person, and he wasn't willing to just take anything she had. At this point he realised he'd been holding his breath. He let it out in a huge breath from his nose, as though physically letting go of his childhood fantasies. Time to be a centaur, not a faun.
"...no. I say. no."

Taqune was walking around when he saw two people talking,taking his way of listening he stopped behind a bush his ears turned to listen to there conversation.
Thinking to himself,"I haven't seen one of those before."He looked at Nathalan.

Susie waited silently for his reply, wondering what he would chose. Most people never turned it down, really. But then again most people would definately want the power of magic, or atleast the kind she had. Even though she payed for it in the end, she didn't care all that much honestly.
When she heard his answer, a small smile went on her lips and she nodded to him politely. "Ah, well, that is your decision. I accept it." A small yawn came out of her and she scratched behind one of her fox ears that began to twitch once more.
She didn't even mention about him not telling her his name, she just let it go. Her eyes went up to the night sky once more, her blue eyes reflecting the moon's light rays that shone down on them. "Hmm... Well then..." Susie didn't exactly know what to do now. So, she just continued staring up at the night sky.
Her tails swished around in the water. Her hears went flat on her head once more, she could sense someone was listening in. A small smirk came upon her face and she laughed a little, smelling Taqune's stench from there.
"Oh, by the way..." She began to speak again, though not looking at him. "My name is Susie." Her eyes then lowered and looked at his figure, smiling once more.

Fera splashed at the water with a small smile on her face. "How could something so calm put out something so strong and hot?" She was of course talking about how water could put out fire. It had always amazed her on how things like this could happen.
She looked at her reflection in the water, her hair was falling all over the place and she wasn't in anything special. With a slight sigh she looked away, but something caught her eye just before she completely turned away from the water. A large creature was in the water...no not in it but reflected in it. Her eyes widened and she spun around to see what was there. But when she turned there was nothing.
With a confused look she turned back and the creature was gone, she sat there alone looking at her reflection almost waiting for something to happen.

Not noticing anything funny about the conversation Taqune wondered why susie was laughing then it hit him.Smelling his arm his fur was well not so wonderful smelling.Sighing Taqune was gone to the showers and back with in a few seconds since he used his speed.Instead of hiding he walked up to them stopped and stretched smiled and said,"hello."

The earthen centaur watched her ears flick back curiously, unsure of what that meant with her species. In horses it was often aggressive, but she didn't seem angry. Then she smirked and occured to him that she might know something he didn't. That was slightly unsettling. Might as well get used it, though. He already knew that hundreds of other students had abilities and knowledge he didn't. Better an enemy than a mystery, the saying said. But better a friend than an enemy.
Nathalan gave a genuine smile--no teeth--and extended his hand. "My name is Nathalan," he replied, thinking that this was in fact a little late to be saying that. "Friends?"
