Meta_Fish Sakurai did say that, yes, but I still think we'll get a few. Not a ton, but a few. Fire Emblem hadn't come here before Melee, and after the success of the characters in Melee, they decided to bring it over. It did well, so I wouldn't be that surprised if Starfy came to Brawl, and then if he was well accepted, came to the states. I'm all for it. His games look Kirby-esque. Yeah, I don't know much but I did notice the similarities to Kirby. What stuck out to me most is that in Stafy 3, Wario is present as an assisting character for the whole eighth level. That alone makes me want to see Stafy as a fighter in Subspace Emissary with Wario as the secondary character. Makes sense, no? If Captain Falcon can become a fighter, then Stafy (or Starfy or whatever) can too.

If there is one. XD

Denko Tatsuman Denko Tatsuman Eggness But didn't Sakurai say that he didn't want a bunch of Japan only characters? He did say he didn't want to put too much emphasis on them, but he's considering putting a few more in after seeing the huge success of Marth and Roy in Melee. If they fight well, people will pick them. Marth and Roy were simply good characters. Hopefully Brawl is perfectly balanced so that people all don't play the same five characters. But we won't get into that discussion again. I'm just proud to say that my mains are my favorite characters, not the strongest ones. I didn't like Marth too much. He didn't have enough attacks that didn't suck. My mains are the characters I have the most fun playing. Yeah, I agree. I can't wait to find out which newcomers suit me the best. I think I'll be decent with Pit and Sonic. Of course, even if I suck with Sonic, he'll be my main. xd
@ Fish: But remember, Marth and Roy would've been removed in the Non Japanese versions if not for time constraints.

Flamart I go to the website everyday and I love the subspace emissary idea. As soon as my Wii gets repaired and the game comes out I am going to play that every day for about a month. What do you guys think is going to be the best part? only a month?

BioWeapon000 Raui I'm honestly not looking foward to this game. Only difference I see with this one is that the characters look better and that theres more levels and more characters. If this one doesnt have online then I don't see the point in getting it. I mean theres not much point in getting a multiplayer game if you've no one who plays videogames. then whats the point in playing multiplayer games if you dont have anyone to play with, i get your post. but thats the thing about brawl. they didnt want to alter the game completely because what they have already created we love to a full extent thus making it not much worthy of being changed I think that changing the game wouldn't be all that bad if it made the gameplay more adaptave to the Wii itself. It's a new system with a new set of controls... why make a Wii game that will use a GameCube controler?

People are use to the controls son Melee with the GameCube controller, and it would be a significiant change from the standard control scheme to a motion-sensitive control-scheme... I'm curious as how they would give Brawl motion sensitivity, actually. Not saying its impossible, but it would be simpler to keep the standard control scheme. Super Smash Bros veterans wont need to learn a whole new game, either.

I thought he was a character at first. xd
