(probably the last post of the night. sorry)
Pen stood up and with a very calm and stern voice she answered Luciano. "I will do some recon and figure out what just happen. So put that gun away." She found it odd that now she was the one protecting Jade.He was annoying but she never cared for unnecessary bloodshed. However she wondered why Luc jumped to blame Jade so quickly. The device was in her hands and so far Jade seemed just as confused like the rest of them.
"I'll take KD and Aly; that way you can watch Jade." Pen looked down at the thorn in her side and sighed. It was difficult to blame him when she already knew it was her in responsibility.

Luciano replied, "Fine, I'll take Michelle- And whoever else landed here with us - and we'll secure the perimeter." He wasn't so angry anymore; Because now he could keep an eye on Jade. Luciano motioned for Jade to follow him, Luciano then said, "We come back here, in this spot, in thirty minutes- No later. Now move out."

"Right!" KD said. She looked around her surroundings. It was HQ, but... some of the plants were gone, and some of the trees looked... younger? Weird. It was warmer... and humid, not like the cold icy days they had been having. No snow on the ground. Was it some kind of elaborate prank? A alternate universe? She shook off the idea and stood ready for Pen's orders.

Nari was quietly munching on her breakfast when suddenly a blue light surrounded her. She gasped and yelled, "Wad duh?!" with a mouthful of food. Next thing she knew, she was lying on her back on the ground at the foot of a tree. She opened her eyes and tried to sit up. She winced and instinctively put her hand on the back of her head, carefully feeling it when the pain receded. 'Oh, great. I'm outside and have no idea how I got here...with a bump from falling on this stupid tree? Come onnn...' she thought and grunted. She slowly got to her feet when she heard familiar voices coming several feet away. She walked around the tree, hand still on her head, and saw the gang in the distance. "Hey!! Luciano!! Pen!! What is this?!" she yelled to them as she slowly made her way over there.

Louie caught the exchange between Jade, Pen and Luciano. Upon hearing Luciano's last statement he sliently stood behind Jade. He wasn't told to follow behind but he took that position(sp?) anyway.
He was very aware of the deringer hiden in his pajama pants as he walked. It was too hot to be hiding a gun that low on his body and not feel it with every movement. He also felt naked in his ratty white tank top and wished he'd gotten dressed before coming down the stairs to get food. Or at least had on a shirt that didn't show the scars on his arms so much.
"Feels like summer," he commented.

(I'm baaack! Finally... This post was totally not lagging behind and is definitely not a continuation of my last post wink )
The blue light was not bright enough to wake up let alone grab Sabe and throw him to who knows where, as he was a floor up and behind closed doors still asleep, dreaming.
After the kids shoved to the sides (except for the two propping up the 'ball'), one of them blew a whistle on the count of three, and Sabe ran up to the squirrel and punted it toward the wall. They cheered, screeched and laughed as it sailed toward one picture and crashed against it. All there was left was a blood-splattered picture and a heap of fur on the ground below it. Charlie cringed and Lucy couldn't stand to see it anymore. Everyone else immediately rushed in to see whose it was.
"Out of my way! I wanna see~" Sabe said as he shoved people aside. With enough persistence, a path was cleared for him and he picked the picture off the wall by its driest corners. From what he could see, there were large parts of what used to be blue and white. The rest was unclear. He had to shake it a little to get the grey matter and some blood off of it; The girls closest to him screamed and jumped back.
When the image was clear enough to identify, however, everything turned to black and suddenly to some irrelevant dream until Sabe was woken up by Waffle. The blue light faded away long before then.
"Did anyone say anything about a gang field trip? I just got back from getting the newspaper and nobody's home." she asked. Sabe looked as confused as she did. "What?"
"...don't tell me you were asleep the whole time. You didn't even stay up that long and even slept in some. Lazy a**." she muttered loud enough for him to hear. Waffle walked out of the room before Sabe could say anything back. He sat there, helpless and unaware of what was really happening.

Luciano replied to Nari, "We don't know yet. . Pen is going to figure it out though. Until then, we're all going to secure the Perimeter while Pen does some standard Recon," Luciano looked over at Michelle, "What d'you make of this weather?" Michelle let out a 'Psh!' then replied, "Hell if I know! The last thing I remember was just getting into my car!" Luciano let out a 'Hmmm' then kept walking with his group along side of him. Luciano took a quick mental note of Louie's move; Something he had hoped someone would do.
As the group wandered the perimeter of the property, he could see cars in the front of the house, and a stretch limousine, "I wonder what's going on. . ." He wondered aloud.

Nari grunted and grumbled as she rubbed her sore head with her left hand, "Alright. Wherever we go, there better be some ice." As she walked with the group, she finally noticed the human. "Okay, there's no doubt that I'm late on this...Who is that?" she asked and pointed over Louie to the man in front of him.
(Jade is human, yes?)

"New guy," Louie muttered over his sholder in response to Nari's question. "What's you're name Blondie? I don't think I caught it when you came in the kitchen." Louie was knew his name of course but he felt like being an a**. He couldn't help it. He didn't like being ignored.

Aly had stood there ignoring the yelling and finger point, noting the change of their environment, outside of the obvious. The light breeze brushing the tree tops, the chirps of birds, and the hint of coming chill in the air. I would guess that this something time near late summer, possible early fall. The sun's positions says it isn't too early in the morning. It could even be on par with what time we...left at.
They already knew the building was the HQ or maybe it was something set up to look like the HQ. It was a terrible idea, one that caused Aly's stomach to retreat a bit, but she held onto the belief that this wasn't some prank she had fallen into and it wasn't a mind trick. "So Pen, where do we begin?"

Luciano replied to Nari's question as he walked, "Pen's friend Jade. He will be with us for a while," Luciano turned his head a slight and he said, "when this is all over, we can all sit down and formally introduce one another. Right now, we need to focus on our task- Louie, Once we get up to the Cedar Tree, climb up and see what you make of our surroundings, Michelle, Take Nari around the perimeter of the house once Pen is inside." Michelle nodded and let out a 'Right!' to acknowledge she understood. Luciano kept the group moving a bit further before getting to the Cedar tree.

'Jade...hm,' Nari thought and said his name a few times to herself to make sure she remembered. After listening to Luc's orders, Nari said, "Alright, and meet back at the tree?"

Louie nodded silently to Luciano's order and didn't speak again. Once he reached the Cedar tree he started his climb up. Thanks to his training he made the climb look easy, swinging from one branch to the next like a giant lavender colored monkey. Once he reached the top he settled himself on a secure branch and looked around. It was defiantly summer. The usual brown winter grass was a bright vibrant green and all the trees still had their leaves. He could hear birds happily chirping and doing whatever birds did all day. Off in the distance he could see the road was clear. Not a single car went in either direction. He turned to look at HQ. He could just make out someone opening a window, probably in hopes to catch a non-existent breeze. He couldn't see any other activity anywhere. "Hmmm," he murmured to himself. He climbed down a branch and said in a low tone that would carry down to Luciano, "Something is defiantly up boss. It's bleedin' summer and last time I checked we were in the middle of winter. There is someone up at HQ opening windows but other than that it's dead as a door nail."

Luciano replied to Nari with a nod, "Yes. This tree right here." Michelle gave Luciano a quick hug, then lead her small group towards the house. Meanwhile Luciano replied to Louie as he looked on, "Yeah. . . something does feel weird about this." Luciano smelled the air; It smelled like fresh drywall was put up, he could smell paint fumes, and he could hear people talking. Something about this setting really was strange.

When Pen's group left, Jade instinctively began to follow them instead. After a quick look though from Luciano he diverted into following him. He was going to answer who he was but was quickly cut off. He seemed a little jumpy though as he kept looking back to where Pen had left. He cared less that these guys may want to kill him, he was used to the mafia lifestyle and being a gun's target. However he seemed worried right now; losing the sight of Pen's tails. Meanwhile... "Lets head in the back way. I rather not our presence be known just yet. Who knows where exactly we are." Leading the group towards the garage, Pen kept trying to make sense of the device that she rolled in her hands.
No, it couldn't have done that. Its impossible. She tried to convince herself that this thermos was nothing more than cast away science project, but with that sudden light and everything, it was rather difficult. Getting closer and hiding in the shrubbery,( that was much shorter now and not cut into any particular shape) she noticed that the paint was fresh and the wear and tear on the roof were non-existent. Furthermore the asphalt in front of the garage doors were void of cracks and streak marks. It all seemed like everything was brand new. "No, it couldn't be...could it?" she murmured to herself. "You guys stay right here. I'm going to take a peak inside." With that Pen dashed from the cover of the shrubs. No sooner than did Pen leave did another elf came over to the two left behind. "Hey! Is this the way in?" She spoke with a bit of a snarl and had the presence of being very defensive.
