"Bakura's calmer when he's around Malik." Ryou pointed out, closing his eyes and letting out a little sigh.

Ryou shook his head, following Ember. "I know how Bakura works. He'll be fine with Malik for a while, perfectly happy. But after a while he'll get bored. He'll want something new. Malik will say something that offends Bakura and causes him to overreact, and he'll hurt Malik, then be very surly and angry, back to his old self again in no time, hating everybody, especially Malik, who is going to be very hurt emotionally and might do something drastic."

"It makes you wonder; should you try and encourage Malik and Bakura to get together even though you know what's going to happen, or should you try and save them the troubles they'll face later?" Ryou said, lowering his gaze to the ground. He wondered if the second rule should have been applied to his and Kira's relationship. Would it have been better not to have been with her in the first place if he would have known how painful it all was?

"You should encourage them.Even if things might end up bad and troubles happen along the way there still happy toghter.You should let them be happy as long as they can..." ember said flicking on the lights.

Ryou hesitated, then quickly hugged Ember, making up his mind about something. "Thank you." He murmured, already headed for the door.

"If Bakura asks, tell him I'm going back to see Kira." Ryou said, pausing in the doorway before going down the hotel's hallway. He needed to see her, needed to apologize.

Ryou ran as best as he could, what with his hurt back, to the mansion. He burst into the living room, startling Yugi, who had been just sitting in there. "Is Kira still in her room?" He asked, panting.

Kawi looked up who had been cuddling to yugi to calm herself down "Yea she should be still asleep.."

Ryou sighed with relief. "Good." He went into Kira's room, sinking to the ground next to the bed. He bowed his head and almost immediately burst into tears, all of the emotions he had been hiding away before suddenly surfacing. Oh, how he longed to tell Kira how sorry he was.

Kira lay on her side in her bed.Her eyes were red and puffy so you could tell she had been crying.Dried tears still stained her cheeks.
