Shadow finished the bottle of blood and stood. Shadow started to walk around the mansion as he use to do in the old days wich was really only three months or so ago. Three months ago everything changed for him. All the new guests started to arrive then and thats when all the troubles started. The troubles with Cassidy, Jaiks return, the attacks by the remants of the clans, the curse that he acidentaly brought upon himself and now this thing with Lilith and the possible daemon threat. Shadow longed for the old quiet days that he had enjoyed in the mansion, back when he was no more that the head of security rather then what he was now. He had hoped that he had left the days of war and commanding armies behind him after what happened with his brother but Shadow had ran out of luck. He had to do all of this to protect his home, something that he failed to do previously. His old home was burned to the ground by demons and that left many scars in Shadows mind. He let out a sigh as he patroled the halls.

After walking the grounds for a while Shadow returned to the dinning room. His mind still lingured on the things of the past. He sat down in his usual seat and lit a cig. He waitined around to see if anyone else was awake at this time but he doubted it. He waited anyway, he wanted some company, any company.

"Hello Avarice. I am nt so good right now, my mind is rather chaotic. It just dosen't settle down anymore." he said as he took a logn draw from his cig. he never bothered to answer the last question. He always found it strange when people asked that sort of question.

Shadow thought deeply about the question. He had changed alot over the past few months. The truth was that his mind was only quiet during times of battle and his time with Cassidy who refused to wake for some reaosn now. No matter what he tried she would not wake. Shadow didn't know if he should be honest or not, he didn't want to think what the others would say if they foudn out he had a renewed passion for battle but then it hit him. The walk with Nadea came flooding back. "The only thing that clears my mind is walking the gardens with someone and just making idle chat. That is the only thing that works these days." he said.

Shadow let himself get draged out to the gardens "Sounds like you had a good relationship with your mother. That's good." he said as he started to walk around the gardens. There was a strange air of calm in this place that Shadow could never understand. he often thought that if he did understand it, it would stop being calming so he never tried to find out.

"I feel a great deal calmer." he said as he walked around feeling the breeze and the cool chill that it brought to his exposed skin. "Who would have thought that something so simple could clear the mine of one like myself." he added as he took in the scenery and the scents of the area around him. "So what is your story?" he asked.
