Querl Dox Souls are just data. When you die, the data is reallocated. I aim to allocate it back to the original vessel. I don't really expect you people to understand. Death is just a different state of data storage.
And a strongly recurring theme in ANYTHING Waid writes. No offense, but what would a machine know about souls . . . or dying, for that matter?

I might also like to bounce your head, if you're not careful with your tone.
I didn't treat YOU like an idiot despite being very wrong about what happens when one dies . . . and I'd know best, being as I'm dead.

My default mode of addressing you chimpanzees is of disdain due to the fact that you don't have the intelligence to properly appreciate your own abilities. If I act like you are a brainless mollusk, it is simply a defense mechanism to keep from damaging my own brain trying to comprehend WHY you insist on being so ignorant.

Defense mechanisms that get you injuired are poorly contrived.

Status: Uninjured. Your thinly veiled threats towards my health are understood and filed under 'unimportant'. Might I suggest trying to threaten one of the other apes? Perhaps you'd find them more receptive.

Thinly vieled? I take offense to that. I wasn't veiling anything. I have no reason to do so.
If you're so much smarter than we are, why do you associate with us? Did your own kind kick you out, perhaps?

My own kind are currently afflicted with an ailment rendering them unable to add two and two, thank you for asking. As soon as I'm done rescuing my teammate who sacrificed herself to save a multitude of lives from her current state of unliving, I will be working on solving that problem.

And yet, somehow, we're the stupid ones? That's an interesting way of looking at tihings.
