SOPA? Which was pushed back a year, the last I knew about it.

Vixen: Well, I can try... basically, the point of the bill is to protect the copy right of things. Yet it seems so open ended that even uploading or linking something copy righted on a website could be seen as a crime to be dealt with.
It'll be like a major censorship of the internet. Where they would monitor websites to see what was going on, sort of like an online police force or something.
I also believe it will ask to link domain names with IP addresses to get rid of anonymity on the internet. There's that and other problems with security on the network.
Not to mention that when a copyright law for the internet is passed and stuff, this will mostly likely happen without people being aware of it.
That's the gist of what I got.
