Julius A not-so-well-known figure took a few casual steps towards the back-door of the mansion, slowly leaning against it as though to check and see if there was much noise coming from in there. From his careful observation, he supposed the place was mostly empty, and this test seemed to give the same verdict. So the mansion was mostly empty, or at least, so it seemed.
Taking a few steps away from the door, he faced the many training dummies scattered across the forested backyard, dropping down into a fighting stance. Was this some random kung-fu hobo who liked to sneak in and fight the training dummies? Maybe. Dashing forward, he let loose a flurry of swift punches on one, sidestepping and kneeing another, then.... pausing, and sighing. "God, I must look stupid." He muttered to himself, before continuing to strike a few of the training dummies. Spinning around, he raised a leg, delivering it straight into one of the dummies' faces. ...And straight through it. And breaking it. "...Uh... oops." ...Well, would they really miss one? Surely training dummies were broken all the time around here...right? He suddenly felt uncomfortable being here. He wasn't exactly welcome, as far as he knew, because he wasn't exactly known. And having his potential first-impression being about broken training dummies probably wasn't the best. Avalanche was probably loaded, and this didn't really matter, but... he decided maybe it would be best to caaasually walk towards the exit once more.(( OOC: ))

"Hee,hee.." A quiet giggle of a girls voice came from above suddenly...from inside a tree?? It was then, that the leaves of the tree began to fall as she jumped down from the larger branch she was resting against. As she came close to the ground, the girl seemed to just stop in mid-air, floating there as her long iridescent sky blue and soft pink wings guided her softly to her feet. The teens pretty blue eyes setting on the slowly escaping blond as she smiled, quite brightly. "..You look nervous! ...Like, maybe you don't live here...ether? " The way he was making a attempt to flee the scene of his destruction, made her think that. "Then, were both lurkers of this biiiig huge castle! Um, it has a lot of hiding spots, especially for me. I can't hide so well with these standing out of the crowed. " She glanced upward, there were a whole lot of places on the roof she was able to seek shelter in, all without being spotted! While she was told to come here, there was still that nervousness that kept her away, and continuing the hide. It was only due to sensing his own nervousness, that she felt comfortable enough that she could speak to him. "You can stay, though..I mean, you don't have to leave in guilt? I can fix this..! " Lilith had a strong connection with the living things of the earth, just as much as the once -living things, which included the dead twigs and wood that came from the precious tree's.
Clasping her hands together softly, her blue eyes closed. As her hands remained clasped together, he might notice, had he been watching, that they were now flowing with a teal-blue magic, when she opened them again, the mass of small magical 'dust' floated up, which she blew onto, as if blowing a kiss into the wind! The magic floated toward the broken dummy, covering it completely. In only moments, it seemed to completely rebuilt itself, but with..an added affect.. "This ones extra special, for the next few minutes...It will try to block your attacks, and it will move and twist around to give you a little better training experience. If you want to, I guess..? I mean...If you want to. Ahh! I'm sorry, I must be making you uncomfortable..?! People...here aren't very fond of such a strange being..I-It must be strange for you to see, too..A ...fairy..girl.." Oh god, here came the nervousness she was hoping to keep away!

Julius"...?" Julius turned to face the fairy(?) girl as she came to float there suddenly. ...Wow, she was cute. He noticed that a lot faster than he noticed she was a fairy, it seemed. "I guess I don't," He responded casually. "I hear Avalanche is pretty accepting of... irregular people. Why don't you just go live inside?" She did seem quite the type to live with them. She was certainly... "irregular." "I'm pretty sure they're friendly. Or so I hear." This person knew a bit more than he implied, but that was irrelevant. Glancing over at the destroyed dummy as she began to work her magic, he tilted his head, raising an eyebrow. "...Huh." He seemed impressed. "Well, that's some fancy magic you've got there. Seems useful. I'm sure Avalanche would be happy to have you. Or are you spying on them for someone?" He shrugged. "Not that I care, I guess." As she seemed to begin to get nervous, he shook his head. "It's not strange. You're not so different from other girls I know," just what other girls did he know? "And you're cute anyway. One of the most attractive girls I've ever met. So have a bit more confidence. Or don't. Nervousness is cute, too." The flat way he complimented her made it seem as natural as describing the weather. It was almost smooth, but it didn't seem like he was trying to incite a reaction or flirt, so maybe it wasn't.(( OOC: ))

"....Well, it's..uncomfortable! It was only one of the people who live here who told me to come, but...only one person..? If others see me....who don't know who I am, what if I get yelled at? Or thought to be...up to something evil!? ...I don't know if I could handle that. I hear there is a lot of people who live here, if I knew them..slowly got to know them all..I wouldn't feel so nervous.." She paused a moment, looking down as she twiddled her thumbs nervously."..I think...maybe.." Yeah, she didn't know how she would react to being around so many people! "..I haven't been around people..very much in my life.." Very much was an understatement, for sure. "...What about you? ..Why haven't you tried to get to know them? " Clearly he wasn't trying, since he did just try to sneak away after he thought he destroyed something of their property!
Of course, no matter how nervous and scared she was, helping when the chance struck was something she could never pass up, even the little things like simply fixing a broken dummy! "..You think so? " She asked softly, her cheeks turning a faint pink in color. "...I want to be of help, not just for them..but anyone who needs it.." It was strange to want to help everyone so bad, yet be so afraid of them at the same time. At his sudden question, Lilith blinked, her eyes widening! "...W-What?? No..! I would never ..I..I promise I am not spying on them for anyone!" She would have to learn sarcasm and jokes someday, though it wasn't exactly obvious if he was being sarcastic or joking, maybe he was serious! He didn't sound like a big joker.
As she began to calm down, her cheeks would turn again, a hint of rosy red. "C-cute?! " She might die before nightfall. And then he went ahead and said she was one of the most attractive girls he had ever met. Yep, she was definitely going to die. "..! " She turned away quickly, as to hide her deeply red face."..Thank..you..! " Boy was she ever a odd one, so nervous, but could STILL manage to thank him for his kind compliments that sent her into this embarrassing mess! "I think you're..cute too..!" She just couldn't not tell the truth, or do the right thing, it seemed!

Zack asked one of the others in the living room, his hand on his hip."Something like that." Jake said, downing his shot glass a moment later as he sat at one of the barstools, spun around to face Zack and the others."You didn't happen to get some weird dark deathly thing visit you, did you?""That's not the best description I've ever heard," Jake said, placing the shot glass on the bar behind him as he crossed his arms. "Can't say I remember getting visited by something like that. Feel like I probably would remember.""Ah, yeah probably." Zack put his free hand to his chin, thinking. "How many other kings are on this world anyway...?""Why are you looking for a king anyway." Yugi asked as he sat on the couch. ...Upside down, so his legs were going over the back of the couch and his head was near the floor. "Trying to live out some weird fantasy of yours?""Not exactly," Zack said, shaking his head. "Your mom's kinda like a trickster, right, Yugi?""No," Yugi responded with a sigh. "A title like that is WAY too cool-sounding to describe my mother." Poor poor Yuffie.Kamui adjusted his glasses as he sat on one of the chairs in the room. "King... trickster. "How many kings are on this world?""I only really know about Jake and Cecil...""There are a few people who are a lot like royalty in Marvel City, though I don't know which of them are specifically a king. I know there's Marth, and I think Ephraim a king. I've never met Ephraim personally, but people say he's one of the strongest in the world. Sounds like the kind of person you might be looking for," Cloud chimed in. "What are you two talking about, anyway? You were visited by some bizarre creature?""Yeah..." Zack put a hand to his chin. "Looked like something you'd describe as a Grim Reaper, but its actual appearance was indistinguishable aside from the dark cloak it had on. Used a scythe. Pretty stereotypical I guess. But Sephriea was there, so she can back me up." As though anyone was going to call him a liar."It knew me by name. Full name. For Zack that would be one thing, but I'm not native to this world. And I've only been here a short time. I wonder how it could've known...""And this thing is going to... do something?""I'm not sure if it's that thing specifically, or if it was just a messenger, but it talked about the end of the world. Something about "ruined fate" and apocalypse. Some pretty heavy stuff.""End of the world, huh..." Cloud leaned back in his seat, crossing his arms as he looked up at the ceiling. "Wonder when we'll be done with "end of the world" situations..." How many did he have to deal with already...?"The messenger seemed to imply that we three would be the crux that stops this apparent catastrophe. I don't know how far that goes, though. Does that mean only we can battle it? If so, it might be more difficult than the Beast was.""Eesh, I hope not." Zack and many others had been killed in literally one strike from the Beast. Battling something that strong for the THIRD time didn't exactly sound pleasant.Cloud leaned forward again, uncrossing his arms. "Just you three... are the rest of us just supposed to sit on the sidelines? I doubt it could really stop us from helping.""It's possible, but I don't know. It depends on the magnitude of its power, among other things." Kamui paused. "Why us three specifically...? What's the significance?" Was there something tying them together, or...? (( OOC: ))

        Zackie, Zackie. His interest was so focused on the others and the current situation that he likely wouldn't notice the sneaky ninja coming up from behind him. She put a finger to her lips, in a shhh motion for everyone to keep quiet, not that she normally needed to. Just, if one of them gave away her location so soon, they would pay the price! His wallet was her target, sticking slightly out of his back pocket and being the easiest to grab, the sneaky ninja grabbed it with one quick yank upward, before slipping away just as quickly where she came from, attempting to make it look as though she only just now walked in from the kitchen, and over-heard the happy conversation of the day! "....Of course i'm a trickster! The best in all the universe! Cloud, Aerith and Tifa could agree with me there..Isn't that right, Cloud? " She grinned at him. Not only did she manage to steal their materia with such ease, but she did trick them into walking into a trap at her home, as a cage fell over them. Ah, great times...
Walking over to stand behind the couch, Yuffie took hold of her sons legs as she looked downward at him. "Your gonna fall on that head of yours if you don't take back what you just said! I am cool! Extremely cool!" As if he was high into the air or something, she could let his legs go, but his fall wouldn't be very much at all, it was already nearly touching the floor as it was!
"To be a real trickster, you can't be seen actually committing the crime..Your getting stale in your stealing, or you just suck now. " Sephria said with a small smirk, crossing her arms as she watched for Yuffie's reaction for a moment. She loved pushing her buttons!
"...Uh, yeah. " She should probably back up ol'Zackie, as if the others didn't believe him or something. "Weird thing of darkness, a real Halloween thriller for sure. " She paused, letting them continue to talk before she would bring up her question. "So then..If this requires this king Ephraim guy, should I just kidnap him and bring him here? If it really is some end of the world situation, getting everyone gathered here would be a important start. "
"...What if it's a trap? " Ariel chimed in her thoughts of the matter. "...Um, well..I mean...It sounds to me like who ever is putting this together, is after the biggest threats to it. Getting everyone gathered like that sounds like whatever it is is plotting to ...kill the main threat." Which still was strange, Cloud and the others of Avalanche were no jokes, and with demons that were near impossible to kill, wouldn't it seem like they were the real threats? All of this was strange and didn't make much sense. "Or....We can just send Isabel, Unisha and Phoenix to the super-cartoon villain and have them holy blast it to death. Ta-da. World saved! If he's sending grim reaper freaks, then it's obvious it's something that won't take well to holy magic.Yeah,my idea's are the best. Just like me! " Tina, probably not the best for making suggestions!

"What did you say?! " Tina turned to her, one could almost see the flames erupting from her own aura. "Do you want to fight?! "..Sure. Later on i'll put you down. Maybe in front of everyone if they want to watch, for comedy relief."

Kamui sat in his chair with a hand to his chin, watching as Yuffie yoinked the wallet from Zack, who seemed pretty pre-occupied with the impending potential end of the world to really notice. Definitely the time to be doing that! A light emitted from around him, and Kamui's Phantom Thief guise replaced his regular outfit.
He suddenly zipped straight out of his seat, in the next moment appearing on one of the barstools, sitting on it as he leaned forward a bit. His sudden movement and the speed at which he did it would cause papers in the room to fly up. "Not too shabby," he said to Yuffie, as he tossed up and caught... Zack's wallet, continuing to toss it up and catch it as he sat there, a grin spreading over his features."You two realize my wallet isn't meant to be a toy, right...?" Poor Zack. Poor anyone around Yuffie, really."I'll summon Cuddles on you." Yuffie said in response to his mother, as though that were the gravest threat in the world. Though to be fair, for some it must have been since it seemed like such a grotesque undead creature. To most."Yeah, just in time for Halloween too!" Zack agreed with Sephriea, as though that were really the important thing right now. "Uh, kidnap is one way to put it, but... I guess it is a serious issue." If it was Ephraim, it was worth discussing as soon as possible. "Well, kidnap away." What a way to put it."Not much we can do if it is a trap," Cloud said. "We have no way of knowing, so I guess springing it is the thing to do. I don't think they'd have an easy time killing them, though." They were all quite capable."There's no way of knowing if they're actually unholy beings," Joker pointed out, glancing at Tina from beneath his trickster's mask. "It may have looked it, but looks can be deceiving. If we did do that, it's possible we'd just be sending them to their death." Not that it would actually progress that far if the rest of them had anything to say about it, but still. Something worth noting. "I could try Bless attacks and see if that has any noticeable effects, once we come face-to-face with the adversaries again..." Bless being the form of offensive holy magic in his world."Settle down, you two," Cloud said to Tina and Sephriea, as though he were talking to misbehaving children. "Now might not be the best time to be fighting each other...""Catfights are hot though." Yugi chimed in. Very important. (( OOC: ))

Yuffie had such a smug, confidant look on her face as she stood there behind the sofa, it seemed nothing could crush that smile. Until papers flew up in the air suddenly, and she realized something that didn't seem quite right. Something was missing! "..?!" She reached into her stashing pocket, where she placed Zack's wallet for a moment until she planned on giving it back to him, she was curious to see how long it would take him to realize it was gone! But it seemed....she had new competition. There was someone else in the world...as good as her?! Wait, that wasn't cool at all! She was the Ninja thief, the best in all the world! "Heeeey?!?! " Oh, that grin on his face. It was so like herself to put on such a show. So this was what real defeat felt like, quite an embarrassing experience! "...How are you that good? I've been stealing since I was little, just ask Zack there.." She grinned at him. "I bet'cha couldn't steal without your fancy maskie-thing! Heh heh heh...That's right! When this is all over, you and I are going to have a thief competition. Without your powers, we steal everyone's wallet...and the first one to get caught, is..uh....disqualified from the title of Best Thief! " It was hard to believe she was an adult! "
As she still held onto Yugi's legs, Yuffie let them go with a little snicker. "What's cuddles going to do to me?? Lick me to death? So scary!!" Actually, she was creeped out by that horrible looking thing. She might actually die if it licked her!
"Maybe we can have fun with this threat. Turn it against the enemy by making it look like it's a welcomed theme for Halloween. It may get bored and go for another world that cares. " Sephriea responded to Zack with a grin. Hey, he didn't seem to have a problem with it, so she was going to have some fun with it too! "Alright then. One King, coming up.." She was about to vanish, when she couldn't help but speak her last bit of thoughts to Tina's ridiculous idea. "Fighting is my specialty. " Sephriea said with a little wink to Cloud, before vanishing off to kidnap the oh-so-popular Ephraim. "....She just winked at you. What a creepy girl. Ugh! " Sephriea was her rival in life, she always got on her nerves, no matter what she did!
Turning to Joker now, he might notice a prolonged stare of a dreamy teenage girl on him. She wasn't trying to stare, but..damn, he was cute. There was no denying it! There were somethings Tina couldn't stop, apparently. "...Er..uh..what? ...Oh, right..! Yeah..." She was doing great today. "..Sending them to their deaths...hahaa..I guess your right. Isabel is scared to death of anything creepy, especially skeletons..Imagine her reaction to some great grim reaper dude! "

"Though I've been in the thieving business for a while myself," Granted not as long as Yuffie, but the things he had to steal and do were quite grand. "You have to be good to be in the business I was. Stealing hearts isn't as easy as it may sound." It may have sounded like he was making a joke about being a ladies' man while also being a thief, but that wasn't exactly the case. Joker reached towards his mask, starting to straighten it, only for the light to surround him again, his outfit returning to normal and him to be adjusting his glasses instead. "I'm no less capable in this form, except that I can't summon my Persona," Kamui said. "Though I only perform thief-like acts in my Phantom Thief guise. It's the mask of the trickster, and only with it does that side of me come out. Generally speaking." His entire demeanor was oftentimes different when he wore the Phantom Thief guise compared to when he was dressed normally. He stood differently, walked differently and ran differently, not to mention his behaviorism was a lot different. They were like two masks--two personalities, both of which were part of who Kamui was. Who Joker was. "Though if you want a competition, I don't think you'll like the results." Confident one! "It's not in my nature to lose." That was quite the cool line."Well, that WOULD save us the trouble, but I'd rather it not go to another world without capable fighters like us. What sort of heroes would we be if we threw our problems onto someone else?" There was that hero word again. Zack did so love the idea of being thought of as one. Zack put a hand to his chin as Sephriea vanished, thinking. "Does she even know where he is? Did she become a Serenitian while I wasn't looking?""Maybe she's actually been Unisha and I's child this whole time," Jake said from his barstool seat next to Kamui. "Silver hair, Serenitian senses, and she's kinda demonic, right? All makes sense to me." Yeah, that was clearly the only logical explanation. Sephriea had just been playing an elaborate joke on them all this time by pretending to be who she was. Especially since she had been here since before Jake even joined Avalanche or met Unisha.Kamui raised an eyebrow at Tina's apparent gawking. "Something on my face?" Surprisingly, he wasn't too used to females finding him attractive. The only one who had ever shown an interest in him, as far as he knew, was Futaba. Though it's possible he just didn't notice. He wasn't oblivious by any means, but it wasn't always easy to read a girl's mind from a male's perspective."Funny that I'm dating her daughter, huh? The necromancer who can summon skeletons and zombies," Came Yugi's muffled voice as he just... nonchalantly laid there on the floor. "That'll make for some fun family get-togethers." "Hmmm. Well! Uh, I would consider myself more then good! You haven't met some of the others that were a part of this group, like Barret, and Cid. Barret's a big guy, and Cid a grumpy old man who curses a lot! It takes mass skill and talent to steal from them. " It wasn't so impressive if she couldn't really show the others she was talking about. If only he could see how big and scary that Barret was, he might of been impressed and believe her. "It was impressive, but it wasn't so impressive when you were kidnapped with all our materia! " Oh, yes. This was going to eat Yuffie up. It almost seemed like she was trying to compliment her, until those last painful words that would burn her pride. Aerith just couldn't help herself.Even she had to have a little playful fun when it came to Yuffie's showing off! "What was that called again..Cloud! Do you remember? ...Without our materia, that was one scary dragon monster!..Rapps! That was it....Then we had to save you!" She had a good memory. Then again it was hard to forget a completely terrifying experience! ".....You know, under that innocent looking woman, is pure evil! It's not like it was my fault, and it wasn't because I was weak! Grrr. Why did you have to say that, Aerith?!? ...A-Anyone who see's that horror show Corneo has bad luck, it's like......a spell or something! RIGHT CLOUD? Tell him I'm good at what I do!" She gave him a cold stare, as if telling him he better agree with her, or she might spill one of his most horrific stories to Kamui here.
Looking back to Joker now, as Aerith went on to stand next to Zack, Yuffie watched his Phantom Thief guise vanish, to see him return to his normal attire instantly. That was a cool little trick, she had to admit. "Okay, then...I'll prove to you how good I am. After this mess is over, were going to see who is the best thief around! " Oh, she couldn't wait. It sounded like to much fun!
I think that may be a Sephiroth trait?...He did like to play mind games a lot. " With Cloud, but she wouldn't say that detail. She could pick on Yuffie, but not Cloud. Especially not when it involved something that was so serious back then. "....! " Tina blinked, realizing he had noticed her staring at him. As if it was hard not to notice! "...Um, yeah. A whole lot of cuteness.." She grinned, winking at him."In both forms, too! Heh, you know....if you need a heart to steal...look no further. " Gods, she was so confident it was scary! She decided she was far more interested in talking to Kamui, then to answer Yugi's comment from his new place on the floor!

"Wait...what? " Yuffie's mouth about fell open. " You actually met him...Here I haven't seen him in years, and you see him by some crazy chance! " It was as if it were the strangest thing she had ever heard. Or the most surprising. "Did you talk to him? " She was curious to hear how the big marshmallow was doing. She turned to Cloud as he began to talk about him, giving him a sort of look. "..Why do you sound like you've been keeping in touch with him? .....Has he called you? " "He's called me! He's doing---! ..O-oh, Ah,haha...Sorry, Yuffie.." Yuffie was now staring at her with jealous eyes, it was a little frightening! She might wake up to something missing tomorrow. "..He and Marlene are doing wonderful..." She kind of fell silent for a moment, one could only guess why.
" I miss sweet Marlene being with us, though.." Denzle too, and it had been even longer since she last saw him.Not knowing where he ran off to without a word worried her everyday, but she never showed it. Tifa was strong, in every way possible.
"......." Well, it was better then him saying she was terrible, or really insulting her, so..she'd accept it! "..That's right, Cloud's been paying attention to me.I'm the best at what I do! " She winked at Cloud with a little grin.
"Heh, heh! See, I'll always have thieving in my blood. It's a part of me!" She was so proud of her sneaky ways.
"..Ehhh? How is that possible? I think that maybe you didn't realize you've been hit on, countless times? No way possible would you not be. Or are girls in your world just blind? " They must of been, and only one seemed to be seeing clearly. The most unlikely, a once-recluse, shy girl. "..He,he..Thank you, glad you think so. ..To bad i'm to late! " For such a flirty girl, it was almost unbelievable she of all people, had such a hard time with the guys ever really having interest in her. She never wanted to give up on Soren, but...it seemed pretty clear that nothing she ever tried would ever get his attention on her. There would never be anything and she was starting to see that.
