Go back to the hell we crawled out from *Taking advantage of the opening he threw the Violet Fire on her, sending her back to the Wastes.* Next time I'll kill you.... *He walked back to the guild house to check the damage, holding the shoulder he hit the Khorne Warrior with. ((g2g))

* Ali simply smiled as he watched from a distance, he was alittle jealous actually that Zero got to have fun. But Ali wasn't one to butt in with a fight unless asked to so instead he simply observed and noted anything specific and worth remembering.*

Such a warm evening, every once in a while a cool breeze would pass through, a perfect evening for a walk. Tonight, Ziven was doing just that. Wandering peacefully through the quiet evening, she pondered many things. One of which was to find a location with ample space to practice using the elbow blades for a while. Smiling as she wandered, she weighed her options as she continued to move through the evening alone.

The evening's lack of light gave rise to many horrors in the darkness. The most prominent of these horrors Ziven knew personally, the Dark King Yawgmoth who was himself out and about in his natural habitat so to speak. The darkness. Above the tree line a great black wave rose up blotting out the light of the moon and the stars. A great roar sounded and the wave crashed over the forest in the opposite direction of where Ziven was coming from. The crashing wave made no sound for in light there was spark, life and warmth. In darkness there was bleakness, lifelessness, and the cold silence of death. The grove that would soon be revealed to the young woman hosted, of course, Yawgmoth with his back facing her. Shirtless with gleams of water running form his head down his shoulders and back. Sweat. The part of the forest that the wave crashed over was painted black like a giant wave of tar and sludge had been dumped onto it. Without bothering to take note of her since his concentration was at a high, Yawgmoth took a few deep breaths before raising his hands into the air. It appeared as if there were some weight in his arms for they lifted slowly and with struggle though there was no apparent mass on them. At his command the entire field of black where the wave had crashed peeled up off of the forest leaving it as though he had never laid his darkness upon it. The great black mass gathered itself into the form of a very massive orb which slowly descended upon Yawgmoth, enveloping him. A few moments later the darkness of the orb suddenly withdrew inward leaving Yawgmoth standing firm and proud, the signs of fatigue and struggle gone like he had been healed by the darkness. His large arms remained crossed over his chest as he stared with unpleasant red eyes toward her. "What the hell are you doing out here?" he demanded to know.

Turning sharply with the noise, she looked to see Yawgmoth standing there. It was clear he was doing something but it was not clear just what he was doing. As the darkness and Yawgmoth moved, she realized that they had been moving around together, at his command. She considered moving along, ignoring him entirely, but thought it would be best to acknowledge his words. "Good evening, Mr Yawgmoth. I was walking until I heard something unusual, which I see now is you. Now that I know, I shall continue walking." she said cheerfully, starting to walk backwards a few steps now that she had spoken. Though she was not intentionally trying to act defiant or insubordinate, this was her way of showing confidence that she was free to do whatever she desired and he knew it just as well as she did.

Yawgmoth scoffed at her so carefree reply. This was not a place of freedom. This was a place where the strong imposed their will upon others and Yawgmoth was among the strong. If he so desired her to turn around and go home he could force the issue because he was stronger than she was. This however, was not his intention as he grumbled and began to speak again. "Why are you walking at this time of night anyway? Surely there is a purpose to your random walks. Do share." He inquired.

"There is much on my mind so sleep will not yet come for me. As I walk, I think and I interact with nature - speak and listen to the animals and trees." she said sounding somber but in good spirits. "After a pleasant afternoon sharing good stories with Ali, when I went home I found myself craving more time with others. Since it is late, I would not wish to wake anyone so I opt for the next best thing." Standing again instead of walking, she continued to watch him, unsure how he would take any of this, not yet asking of himself.

"Yes yes we know all about you and Ali sharing your stories. We got so bored we left without either of you taking note. We wish Ali would just ******** you and get it out of his system already. Despite whatever nonsense he spilled while we were around it's clearly lodged in his brain somewhere, in some primal part. But there is this whole Reeve thing and you being a moron about him loving you. Your naivety is oh so amusing." Yawgmoth spoke, just about mocking her with every single word that came past his lips. "We are so different from one another. You crave the companionship of others, the company, we could sooner be alone for eons again and be just fine. Sentient creatures are overrated some times. Most of them are either weak, morons, or enemies." Yawgmoth concluded with a long sigh indicating that he had more problems going on inside his head than he was willing to share. "The next best thing in our book is solitude, but we suppose one like yourself would need to find some sign of life. Even if that sign of life is say, us."

Tilting her head, she found what he said curious. When he finished, she pondered for a moment, raising a finger to her lips in consideration. "You do not enjoy discussing what is written in the book you read? If that is true, then I find this most interesting as I would imagine you are one who would enjoy such a thing, especially if what is written in the book is unsatisfactory to you." she replied simply, still rolling over his statements in her mind, ignoring the personal attacks as best she could. Sure they upset her, but she did not want to go down that road. Finally it hit her. "But you meant that figuratively and not literally .. So many nuances in this language, it becomes frustrating." she said softly, now muttering to herself.

Yawgmoth just blinked dumbfounded by her initial response. Was she really that dense? He supposed now that he was right about her naivety. "Yes. This language you creatures speak is so simplistic and doesn't ever say what we mean." he said. The next few words that rolled out of his mouth sounded more flowing than his speech in english, the words just seemed to roll right off of his tongue and into her ear though she of course wouldn't understand a word of it. "Ahhh sometimes." he said ending the odd language and returning to english. "We wish we could speak Phyrexian all the time and be understood. Such a beautiful artful piece of linguistics. English is so droll."

With a grin, she replied in the ancient language, words in which he too would not understand. Once finished, she raised her eyebrows a bit. "Alas, the tongue of man is dominant as it is the easiest to speak and teach as it is so simplistic despite its imperfections." she said softly. With a graceful movement, she turned away from him and stretched, allowing her gaze to wander to the sky. The stars were beautiful to see tonight. With a small smile, she asked without prompting; "Beautiful, are they not?"
PostPosted: Wed Jul 18, 2007 11:41 pm

Yawgmoth only laughed at her assumption. "It is only dominant here. And it is the hardest language to learn believe it or not. We simply love how you make these judgments having never even been off of this little mudball you call a planet. Trust us, we say with a profound knowledge of many many cultures, earth's languages are highly over complicated." Yawgmoth said turning towards the stars. "They stopped being beautiful for us a long long time ago." He said with a slight frown. His ascension had changed that. As a thran the stars were great wondrous things to be discovered, now that he was practically a force of nature who had seen and done just about everything in the universe there was to do, there was to accomplish, they had lost their appeal.

"They look so different when out there and not on the planet surface." she said softly, still looking out at the stars and pondering. Returning to the subject of communication, she asked another question, taking another direction. "Do you enjoy finding those you consider equals to speak with? I know from admission by yourself as well as observing your actions, that you enjoy finding equals in combat."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 18, 2007 11:50 pm

Yawgmoth shrugged. "Few things give us a rush anymore. Those few things are of course, sex with Crow, and combat with strong individuals. Even if we win, so long as they were a challenge to overcome it was worth it. There isn't much else we can think of offhand that throws adrenaline through our veins quite as hard as those things. Perhaps something else will peak our interest eventually. Something new we haven't already done or seen. But those, those are rarities nowadays." He answered truthfully. Having been alive and around for as long as Yawgmoth had, the term "new" was getting rarer and rarer each day his life continued.

Smiling serenely, her thoughts went to Reeve when he mentioned his thoughts of being with Crow. This intrigued her as she usually did not associate her own life when hearing of others but now that she had thought of him, it was hard to shake that thought. "Hmm .." was all she 'replied' with at first. Finally she was able to tear her thoughts away. "You always seek something that gives an adrenaline rush? Not just .. relax?"
