Vince could have been the stand up man Bret always thought of him as, and let Bret drop it the next day like he wanted, instead of making himself and Shawn both look like asses that night.

Okay, let's try this: Bret never had intentions to leave with the championship; Vince feared that he would do the same thing Madusa did, which was dump it in the trash on live TV for the world to see, so he called upon Michaels, and being the pawn that he is, Michaels did so, losing him the respect of several thousands of fans worldwide. And as for me having fans, dearest, I've fans all over the world, which is more than I can say for someone of your...caliber. I've a cult following; what have you?
